We recently had a hailstorm in my area and my window screens got ripped to shreds. So, I did my homework to find the best screen repair person to fit my job. I always do my research prior to hiring anyone using "Yelp", "Google" and the like, and came up with about four companies that repair window screens. But one stood out to me because of their five-star reviews, and they were one of the few that did the repair on-site. I really loved that idea! I was told by the other companies that they would take the screens and I would have to wait for a week, if not longer, to get them back. I can't tell you how happy I am that I hired Mike Ruffino at "In Home Screen Replacement". What a great guy and a very thorough worker! He and his wife came to my house, set up their equipment on my driveway, and worked as a team. She broke down the old netting on the screen while Mike replaced it with new material. Everything went so smoothly, and they were able to fix 27 screens within a few hours so that I could put them back up the same day! The price was competitive with the others, but with this type of service, I would have thought it would have cost more. Additionally, I stayed outside with them, and we chatted a lot while they were working. Just two lovely, hard-working people who did an wonderful job on my screens. Mike does other work besides screens, and I may have him come out to hang a storm door later in the year. These guys did a great job! They took care of our Andersen Windows, which apparently require extra-wide spline, but they already knew that. They also offer different types of screen material (5 year and 20 year). They're prompt and provide great service. We even ended up adding on a few screens when they brought our original job back to the house (we had a lot of screens done after a hailstorm) and they did those few extras on-site that day. Would definitely recommend them if you have lots of screens done and haven't the time, patience, or skill to do them! read more

Mike just left my condo after he repaired the balcony's sliding screen door. It was getting late and I wondered if he'd be a no-show but he made good on getting here after a long day. Extremely happy with these guys. Mike kept me well informed about our whole house screen replacement after our recent storms obliterated the original screens on our windows. I was a bit concerned at first due to Dave being a bit late from a previous job but he made up for it by being friendly, personable, reassuring and knocked the job out on a Saturday evening even. He provided great advice and had 21 windows done in about 90 minutes and didn't even charge us for all the pins he had to replace.
