On the day of the move, the crew communicated the arrival time again and showed up promptly. They analyzed the items to be moved, and got to work. My apartment paid for the move and I truly believe they took advantage of that and could care less about the residents being we didn't pay ourselves. The move out seemed okay but this was my experience at move in. They took all of our large items apart when leaving but completely failed to put them back together at move-in. Worse, they lost the hardware and slats to my bed and broke a leg on the frame. They also completely lost the hardware from my brand-new baby crib that had never even been used. On top of the damage, we are missing multiple critical boxes and items: Bathroom box: Our ONLY bathroom box containing our shower curtains, rugs, picture frame and other essentials. Kitchen items: A box with our dish drying rack, oven mitts, and some pantry foods. Kids' items: A foldable toy chest filled with old and some brand-new toys my kids just received for their birthdays the month we moved. To make matters worse, the company is lying to dodge accountability. They claim we told the crew not to assemble the furniture. I wasn't even present, and my husband was at work, only arriving at the tail end of the move after coming to get the apartment keys. When he immediately noticed items were missing and questioned the movers, they claimed they would "check the truck and storage." My husband even had to point out that they were bringing in random items that belonged to other neighbors because the crew was so disorganized. When we filled out the damage form, they simply stated that their "crew records show everything was returned and nothing was damaged," and told us "there is nothing they can do." They are unprofessional, completely unaccountable, and left my family missing essential household items and toys for my children. I understand if I said our tvs and electronics and things like that were all messed up but these are small daily items and hardware for our beds so we can sleep comfortably. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!

When I raised concerns about my broken kitchen table, a crew member dismissed the issue by suggesting it was poorly assembled and would have broken eventually. When I reported wall damage and other issues to both the crew supervisor and Customer Care, I was simply told to file a claim without further assistance or accountability. As a result of this move: My kitchen table is unusable My son's dresser is damaged beyond use My home, which I am currently preparing to sell, now requires repairs due to wall damage I had to hire an additional moving service to move items your crew refused to move due to lack of proper equipment. To repair and replace the damaged items with something of comparable quality it will cost me almost $4,600. They only offered me $830, yes you see that correctly, $830 for all of the items damaged. I would not recommned them to anyone.

They stole over $10,000 of custom-made shoes from my family that were boxed up and taped!!! They took over two hours to get to the new house with the moving truck! And then to top it off, they were given each $100 tip, not knowing that they had already stolen until a week later when my family was unpacking!!!! As I researched moving companies to assist us after 26 years in our home, Reign kept coming up as a…read moregreat choice. I spoke with their scheduler and felt assured that Reign would be the one we would use, even though they seemed to be a bit more expensive. A few weeks before we knew our moving date, we did a Face Time walk through of the old home to get an idea of what the cost would likely be. The date and time were set, the morning arrived and Reign was right on schedule. The guys worked hard, took their time to wrap furniture, appreciated the lunch we bought for them, and left for the new house where I met them. Some things were stacked (wardrobe boxes on top of each other), a few boxes were in the wrong room, the garage was left in disarray, a fern stand had fallen over and had a broken base, and the treadmill was not reassembled. Reign had made arrangements to have two follow-up movers come when the first "shift" ended, so these two young men unstacked the stacked boxes, arranged the garage, went back with us to the old house and checked to see that everything was delivered, moved a few leftover items that we missed, put the fern stand in the truck, and tried to reassemble the treadmill. When they could not, they asked us to call Jason, the owner. Jason immediately dispatched another employee who also could not reassemble the treadmill. Not to be outdone, Jason called us and said that he was sending another employee who would arrive first thing the next morning to fix the treadmill. Two young men arrived about 8:30 and had the treadmill together in a few minutes. Of course, that is not the end of the story because moving is never a one-day event--and ours began to unfold with some items that needed to be addressed. The movers had "dinged" a few spots in the old house, which took about a week to repair because Jason uses a man whom he trusts to do a good job, and this man was not available right away. When it was finally completed, the repair was flawless. Then we noticed a dining room piece was damaged, so we sent a picture to Jason who came to inspect and assure us that it would be fixed. While he was with us, he noticed a small scratch on the floor in the dining room, so he helped my husband put felt pads under the table legs and on each chair leg. This was above and beyond anything we had experienced in the past. Again, we had to wait to get the dining room server repaired because Jason uses a furniture repairman who does a remarkable job in repairing damaged wood. He even stabilized the piece while he had it. I might not have been happy waiting, but I was delighted with the finished product. After a few days in the new house, I reached for a file in our filing cabinet and discovered it was in bad shape from the move. When I called Jason, he said not to worry; he was coming to our house to help. This is where his customer service will astound you if you have ever dealt with moving companies who just give you a check and make you sign a document that releases them from further responsibility. Instead of attempting to fix the filing cabinet, he suggested just purchasing another to replace it that would be similar cost. He and I picked out one that seemed identical, his warehouse team came to our house and assembled the new one, realized it would not work so they called Jason who told me to order whatever I wanted. It took two tries to get what I wanted, but Jason never hesitated to find what would make me happy. His company should be your choice for any move.

Now that time has passed and we have learned more information, we have even more remorse for hiring this company. We have become aware of two other families who also experienced the theft of nearly identical items during their moves with Reign. We never received reimbursement for any of the lost, broken, or stolen items from our move and will end up having to take legal action for this. There were many logistical things this company did very well - they were organized in the planning of the move, very timely and efficient, and careful with (most) of the furniture. However, they were dishonest. While what happened in our move may be a reflection of one employee versus the whole company I reported it to the owner, Jason, right away, and he continued to let other customers be stolen from for several more months before putting the employees on leave. Trusting them in my home will forever be one of my biggest regrets.
