UPDATE: Owner (Tim) reached out to rectify the problem and got me in to redo my color. They said…read moreI had to choose a different color because the one I had fades. I chose another color. Well, we noticed again, that the colors didn't match. She ended up having to find a different color that closely matched and used it to paint OVER the color on my toenails that she'd already painted on. I didn't like this particular encounter because she rushed through my service, especially once the color, AGAIN, didn't match. Nails are straight and there's still a difference in shades between my nails and toenails. I wished he had gotten a tech with more patience and more concern to take care of me, especially after having the experience I had beforehand. I'd never experienced this in like 17 years and I've been all over, to include overseas. I had high hopes after speaking with the owner but I guess the tech didn't share his enthusiasm to make things right. Original Review: Went in and asked for a regular mani/pedi. The whole time I was getting my pedicure, the tech was trying to upsell the gel manicure. She said, the regular polish would chip and they have the color match in gel. I guess this is the color match (see picture). I spent my money, wasted my time. All for this. I can't stand it. Only gave two stars because my pedicure was good with the exception of her using a drill on my toenails which was odd because it was regular polish but she didn't cut me so I left it alone. It turned out pretty.

Update: Received a call from the owner who apologized and rectified the problem. We stayed away for…read morea few weeks. Went back today and it was an amazing service.

Almost every pedicure cart has them included the cart used for my own pedicure. Before I could ever say something my text was going to town on my heels with a grater. It's 2025- the safety of the clientele here needs to be way higher than it is here. I would have rather left with rough heels than feeling like there's micro cuts. I wouldn't recommend the pedicures here which automatically cuts my review in half. Manicures seem fine but really vary on who you get. I can't say I'd be back, but if you skip the pedicure and get the right employee to do your manicure you would probably rate it as a 4 star shop.

The salon was clean and well lit, people were nice but my manicure didn't last from Thursday to Sunday. It came off in pieces, and by the end of the day the whole nail was left without polish. It seemed to 'lift' off. I don't know if it was the type of polish or the preparation of the nails but between a regular mani/pedi and tip, I spent almost $100. Today is Wednesday- not even a week- and I've had to remove all my polish. Perhaps these places specialize in tips and gels, perhaps on their menu where you book online they should specify a technician for basic, natural nail care. I can't be the only one in the Greater New Orleans area who gets a regular manicure ! BTW- this isn't my first time here- I went earlier this summer and a gentleman- I think the owner- did my nails and they lasted at least a week. But, I'm not sure I'll go back !

Should have read the reviews, but thats my fault for waiting until the last minute to get nails…read moredone. The front desk person seemed pissed that I was there. They had very few gel color options to choose from; I didn't see any skin tone varieties at all. I'm used to getting pages and pages of colors at other salons... they had about 40 i think, and several of those were glitter. My nails started getting small chips in the ends after about 4 days. This picture of them is at 11 days.... I thought gel nails were supposed to last 2 weeks. Its hard to see in the picture but one of them is cracking which is something Ive never experienced. After my pedicure I also noticed my cuticles still looked really dry. While I was in there a lady came back inside because she didn't understand the cost on her receipt, and they told her it was tax. So when they didn't appear to give me the online booking discount promised online, I didn't argue, because I knew I wasn't winning with this guy.

I asked specifically how much it would be and was quoted one price. Then at the end, my nails cost 25% more than what I was quoted. Interestingly, my technician asked if I wanted my nails to be trimmed. I replied, "yes" and would've said the same if she'd told me how much that would cost. The problem was not being told until I was at the register, after it was done. The gel color selection was also very limited; I was only given 1 small book to choose from. Unfortunately, I feel taken advantage of.
