There's just something to embroidery and the way it encapsulates the beauty of a logo on fabric. I…read moream often quite satisfied with just a printed logo until seeing a well embroidered logo on someone else's apron for example. That material lustful covetousness that follows after...sighs. So I finally took some time to look up local businesses that do custom embroidery and found Graphic Connections. I spoke with the owner Paul in person one evening shortly after they were closed for the day. He was very friendly and insightful to their process for handling custom jobs for their customers including other local businesses. They run two shifts: sales and design by day, printing and embroidery by night. We spoke through some details and fees involved and went from there. Zapporah took care of all the different quotes and questions promptly. Dave handled the design and proofs prior to production. The night crew handled production and a phonecall was received when it was ready for pickup. Turnaround time after the proofs was really quick! Moment of truth was when I finally picked up the end product - a few aprons embroidered with logos as a gift to another local small business. They were beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. I can't be any happier and look forward to working with them again in the future! Definitely recommend!!!

I decided to take one shirt down to see how they did, the guy working the shop was very helpful and understood what I wanted. So, despite moving from Southie to Somerville, I still play in my beloved Southie softball league…read more One of the league rules is that every team must have a uniform. So, I purchased 15 shirts from a professional connection, but the place I got the shirts told me it was too small of an order to do the screen printing and have numbers specific to each jersey (my guys are picky about that). So, I headed over to "The Spot" and met with Dave, the owner, who happened to be manning the shop. Don't be fooled by his age, this kid knows his stuff. He went trhough all the logistics with me in a snap, had everything in line to the penny, and even offered to help me out with some hats, which I was interested in. He told me everything would be ready in a week, and sure enough, he was faster than that. The logo was exactly what I wanted, all the numbers were correct to the proper shirt sizes, and the price was exactly what he had quoted me. As for the hat, once the rest of my team saw it, they all ponied up the extra cash for their own - and he is going to be able to spin those for us before our first game. Dave is professional, effiecient, and does great work. Anytime I need something like this done, I know right where to go. The only thing I would change is I wish I bought my shirts from him to give him more business.

I had gotten quotes from several T-shirt companies and compared their products/prices, but NE Design was the only one that offered to send "color cards," which turned out to be catalogs with cute T-shirt cutouts made of real fabric so we could get a better idea of the actual colors. As it turns out, NE Design had one of the best prices and their shop happened to be located within walking distance from work, so we decided to place an order. When I received the first sample for approval, I'll admit I was a bit skeptical and took it home that night to wash and dry it, just to see if the graphics would last. The shirt came out looking exactly the same! Maria accommodated our various requests and last-minute adjustments, and was helpful in offering different options based on our needs. She also responded quickly. Overall, I had a great experience with NE Design and would definitely recommend them!

Everyone please save your time and money with this place. We came here for the "fast" turnaround…read moretime we were promised 4-5 business days which turned into 2 weeks. Additionally when we received our product, the transfer that they had done all the transfers had fuzz and lint stuck within the image. They said that it's "part of the material" which it's not... it's your poor quality control for not just doing the extra step in lint rolling the garnet before applying the transfer over. Even another customer standing next to me said he saw all the lint within the image of the shirt. One of the shirts the transfer you could see the image is folded over... I could've easily just saved my time and done it with a circuit machine. The crazy thing for the mistakes they made on their end. They will not refund you because there's nothing they can do on their end for that. If you wanted them to fix this. They would peel the transfer off the same shirt and reapply over it. If anyone is smart enough knows that this CAN NOT be done since it already ruins the garment itself. For someone who has been doing this for 11 years, it's sad for the quality of work that you produce as well as the way you treat your customers.
