Was disappointed that he could not schedule me today, yet, Gino's brother Tony, came out to look and listen to see what the issues were after I scheduled an appointment for next week. Tony was fantastic and gave me great advice on what to do (and NOT do) while driving until I could drop off the vehicle next week. I look forward to going back next week to get it serviced. Never have I ever experienced such a smooth oil change in my life. I am so used to being treated…read morepoorly at auto care centers, but that is now in the past! First of all, I didnt think I would find a Meineke so close to where I live. It is literally within walking distance from my home, which made things much easier than I presumed. Its location is in Charlotte's "Plaza Midwood" area, just five minutes from uptown. Now, to paint a description of my car's condition before bringing it in would be a challenge, but lets just say it needed some serious maintenance. Lucky for me, they were running a "rainy day special"..and boy was it raining out that day! As I walked in I was greeted by a very friendly man behind the desk. He walked me through the special, which included an oil change, wind shield wipers, tire rotation, air, and fluids topped off all for 59.00! In my mind, this could not be true because Toyota was charging me the same price for just an oil change. Sure enough I learned that I was getting ripped off at Toyota! The man told me it would take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour to finish my car, which was great because I didn't even make an appointment. I ended up spending that time at my friends house that was on the same street. After an hour, I received a phone call letting me know that my car was complete. I am not lying when I tell you that my car drove like it was brand new again. After my wonderful experience, I no longer need to go years without maintenance, and found that they can provide a pleasant experience to the auto care world! I will be back to this location in the future and recommend them to anyone in need of service.
