This review is specifically for the service and parts department. I had an amazing experience with this Honda. The people were extremely friendly and helped me with everything that I needed. They were very understanding and truly deserve a Helpful Honda title. I was visiting a friend in the area and my tire blew out. Unfortunately the actual wheel was left on the side of the road. I needed a new wheel, hubcap, and a few other parts. The Honda parts department, specifically Michael, was extremely helpful, informative, and patient. They helped me get my parts in a timely manner and answered any and all questions I had. They were extremely nice and kindly helped direct me to the service department for my next problem. I at first had my tires fixed elsewhere, but after getting them fixed, all the electrical went out. I could not lock my car or safely see anything on the dash. The parts department helped me talk to the service advisors as I had already been at this Honda for the past three days for various parts. They did not just instruct me to talk with service, they actually helped me along with the process. With COVID, I knew their schedule was tight, however, I was looking to go back home as soon as I could since I was in El Centro much longer than intended. The service department, specifically Richard, helped me and I was very satisfied with all of his and his crew's help. They were more than helpful and I was very satisfied with the entire process. They kept me updated on my car and was very understanding of my situation/timeline. They found the problem very quickly and helped me so much, I would give them ten stars if I could. This Honda was able to help me more than any Honda I've been to before. If I could always give them all of my Honda business, I would! Unfortunately I live hours away, so if you live in the Imperial/El Centro area, please take advantage of using this wonderful Honda parts and service department. read more

Beware of their scam!!!! Chula Vista Ford, Chula Vista Honda and IV Honda are in cahoots with this new kind of bait and switch. We found a Ford van that was being sold for $12,700 from IV Honda website. A woman called Devi answered the phone and referred us to Miguel Moreno. Miguel and Devi said that the van will be at the lot for a test drive. We went in around afternoon to check and Miguel spent a lot of time talking with us and wasted our time by making excuses like we can't see the van since it was Sunday, they locked the shop and they are servicing the van to make sure it was in good condition and Monday was Memorial day so he said we will get a call on Tuesday when it will be ready. But he background checked us and got our Social Security and DL info and he wanted us to commit so he gave us a paperwork for me to sign with details of the total out-the-door price also signed by Miguel. When we get home, my wife and I noticed that the van is also listed in Chula Vista Ford so my wife called them and again they said the same thing that the van is ready for a test drive and I can come visit that day to check it out. We also found out that Chula Vista Honda has the same listing with the same tactic of telling us that the van is there and ready for test drive. Chula Vista Ford even tried to do the trick over the phone of switching us to a more expensive Ford Transit right away when the van was posted sold on the CV Ford website. We waited also on Tuesday but got a call on Wednesday afternoon only to get the trick part that the van was not in good condition that IVHonda will send it to auction. But when I went back to the 3 websites, it was posted as sold. We spent 2 hours of waiting in IV Honda and extra 2 and a half days which delayed our looking for another car only to get a phone call that the van does not exist. read more

Was in town shopping for a Corolla with my girlfriend at United Toyota up the street. Didn't find anything there and happened to see a used one on this dealers website so we decided to drive over just to check it out since it was listed. We arrived and were immediately greeted by Alberto I believe. He quickly asked if we needed help with anything so I let him know I saw a Corolla on their site and that I was interested in checking it out. He immediately asked and assumed that it if it was for my girlfriend, to which I said no, it was for me. His response, "oh really? That's a little feminine no?". What a weird thing to say to someone who is trying to give you business. Brushed it aside and continued with the interaction. He went to go check the stock number and it turns out, it was at another store in Chile vista. No worries, I took a quick peek on the site so that was my bad. He immediately said "that's okay though, we can start the process anyway" as if the sale was made and I didn't need to see the car. Let him know that I wasn't interested in doing that, it's a big purchase, of course I'm not just going to buy a car because I walked into a dealer looking to see it in person. He understood but then immediately got back to the unnecessary commenting about the car being feminine apparently to him and trying to sway me to buy a Honda civic because that's more of a man's car and "a Corolla is for someone like her" while pointing at my girlfriend like she can't see or hear him. At this point, I let him know I wasn't interested in it anymore and that I have plenty other dealerships to look at. I did not want to do business with someone like him. Entitled, cocky, and insensitive. Terrible sales tactics. I wonder if he treats everyone that walks in like that. Not sure how he sells anything like that. If that's the case, maybe I should join sales! Mind you all this happened within 5 minutes. Definitely do not plan on coming back here. I hope he is taught how to deal with clients for future sake! read more

ached out to this dealership because they had two variations of the car I wanted. It was a civic type R. And internet sales associate(Stephanie) reached out to me and sent me pictures. She was great at first. I asked if they are sold at MSRP. She stated yes, MSRP. She set up an appointment for me to come in the next day. The next morning my plans changed so I did the right thing and reached out to Stephanie to reschedule. Joseph Villarreal reached out to me sand stated no worries and let me know to come by in person to see the vehicles. One had sold already the next day. The only one left was a limited edition. He stated there was a 15k markup on it. I let him know that I already had a conversation with Stephanie and that she said they were sold at MSRP. He then tried to sell me a used one so that I didn't have to pay markup. What?? So this dealership does not honor what their associates communicate to their customers. The manager Joseph did apologize but did not offer me anything for this HUGE error in the communication. I will not be giving them my business, and if I were you get it in writing. read more

I personally always get great service from my recent experiences. I always make an appointment over the phone and I understand that car maintenance takes time and I don't know how to do any of that. I never wait there, because I know it will be long lol so I always plan and have someone pick me up or use the shuttle if in service. read more

Easiest Car buying experience ever!!! No hassling, best deal! My civic lease was coming to an end and they were able to put me in a new one with even more features for almost the same payment. I didn't even have to step foot on the lot to pick the new one out, they were able to show me the options & features of the new vehicle during a FaceTime chat. Super happy!
