Based on our contractor's recommendation, we bought a frameless shower door for our Diamond Bar house. We went to the showroom first and looked around (see my pics). We asked for a price range and were told a good price. We hadn't shopped around at that time, so we didn't know if it was a good price or not. We called several other places and recommendations from friend's who had their shower doors done by different companies. In the end, we liked dealing with Sally and their customer service was excellent. Once we decided to go with Imperial Shower door, we put a deposit down (about 50%). CASH ONLY. We made an appointment for the guys to come measure the size of the door. On the day of measurement, one guy came out and measured the door and walls. He was very meticulous and measured to within 1/8". I figured out later that the wall width isn't the same from the bottom to the top, so they need to be precise. We opted for a 28" door opening, but could have gone for something in between 24" and 28". The reason for the options is that toilet may have been in the way (slightly). Anyways, I opted for the larger opening since I've been eating a lot and may be fatter in the future, I still wanted to fit through the door! lol. Also, you have options on how tall you want the door. I opted for a 78" tall door. The taller the door, the more expensive it is. After measurements, it took about 5 business days for the door to be ready. During that time, we picked out a different handle than the standard one that usually comes with the door. On the day of installation, two guys came (one was the same that did the measurements). The guy who did the measurements was the more experienced guy and both were very careful both with the door and moving around the house. They didn't hit anything and were very careful installing the door, which is very heavy since it's 3/8" thick glass. The guys drilled into the tiles and put up water stoppers on the edges of the frame and door. Overall, it looks fantastic! I highly recommend Sally and Imperial Shower doors! Please see my pictures. Shopped around for a shower door with multiple spots and Imperial was the most helpful and most affordable. I spoke with Jessica and she was able to give me a quote over the phone. Without prompting she gave me both a custom option and a more affordable option. Once I had my shower ready she was able to get someone out for measurements the next day. She was really friendly and walked me through different options and answered all my questions. Installers were courteous and finished in about an hour. 50% deposit at time of ordering, the rest was due on the day of the install. 4 stars only because the door was ready a week after originally quoted. 4-5 days vs the 2 weeks. Jessica allows me a few days prior to notify me when to expect a call back to set up an appointment for the installation. Overall happy with the quality of the door and the price point.
Imperial Shower Doors installed a semi frameless shower door for my master bathroom. After just 4 months the hinges started coming off the wall. When I called to ask for a repair, I was told that they do not warrant their work past a month and I would have to pay for a house call, even though the installation was done just 4 months ago. Then when I scheduled the house call, I was told that parts needed to be ordered. Now 2 weeks has gone by and Imperial Shower Doors has not called me back despite me sending numerous text messages and making phone call attempts. Beware of the workmanship and customer service when using Imperial Shower Doors.

I shopped around with a few vendors before choosing Imperial Shower Doors because of their pricing and patience with all my questions. My new place was in much need of an upgrade. I'm really happy with how the new shower door turned out! The whole process was easy from start to finish. Customer service was great, scheduling was simple, and I really appreciated the variety of options they offered. It made it easy to choose something that worked well with my guest bathroom. I ended up going with the frosted glass and satin brass and am very pleased with the results. The installation itself was very clean and everything was nicely finished. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again for a future upgrade! Thanks so much Imperial Shower Doors! read more

My insurance company's Contractor hired Imperial Shower Door. I was shown a photo of the style and approved it. Soon after installation, I discovered the sliding doors did not operate as others usually due. I contacted Imperial and was told, this is how they work, basically live with it. The result of this terrible design, is one has to grip the backside flat mounting knob of the handle to close the door - see photo. It's so unintuitive, that most guest slide the door open and close with the appropriate handle, which leaves a gap between the door end and wall. This has developed water damage in the wall! Horrible design!!! Would not recommend Imperial! DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU! read more
