I then said that i would like them to come back and mow the lawn. When the grass started to grow and the lawn was not mowed, I realized that maybe we did not exactly have a meeting of the minds. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. So I called and left a message, they called back on a Friday said they would be there Monday. No one came, however I gave them the benefit of the doubt again, given the rainy days of late and they likely were overbooked. I figured then they would come on Tuesday, the lawn would be done as the lawn is now overgrown. No one came. I called late Tuesday and left a message that I wished they had told me they were not accepting my job, I would have begun my search all over again. He could have charged me an arm and a leg (and another leg ! ) but he knew I was in a pickle and gave me a price that was way more than fair. Then he did an amazing job clearing the lots, widening the long entrances to the building, salting and he even got out of the truck to shovel out a door that was plowed in by the previous snow storm.
