Originally, I thought patching the inside of the basement would suffice. I found Complete Paving & Masonry on Yelp, and reached out; Jerry responded very quickly and was able to come by to provide a visual inspection and a quote. He recommended that work needs to be done on the outside in order to fix the inside. We took a walk around the outside and he provided points of what work needed to be done. Essentially, he recommended to dig up the dirt around the foundation; patch and seal the foundation; put in some gravel and then cover it up with dirt. This would help prevent water from leaking through the foundation into the basement/garage. After conversing with my fellow condo neighbor, we hired Jerry's team to do the work. Within a week, they were able to come on site and start the work. It took them 4 days to do the work (original quote was 3-5 days). Jerry and his team did a magnificent job. They went above and beyond the original estimate's work at no extra charge to improve the water flow surrounding the condo. They also did some additional patch work on the outside of the condo. When the job was completed, Jerry walked me through everything his team did and why it was done, so I was able to understand the reason for the work. They began my project in May of this year and promised to complete the work by June 20th. However, they didn't finish the pool until the end of August. I also paid for a customized cover for the pool, but the owner kept giving me different excuses and repeatedly told me, "next week," just like he did about the pool. I also paid for in-ground outlets, which he insisted would be done at the end of the job, but he later claimed that the electrician couldn't do it because the inspection had already been completed. I would never recommend this company to anyone. The owner will say one thing today and deny it later. Please be cautious if you consider hiring them.

Orli missed my call but called back within half an hour. He was easy to work with, he showed up early for our appointment, he wore a mask, and he had a written quote to me within 48 hours. As far as pricing, he was very competitive vs the company we went with, priced about the same on some items and as much as 20% cheaper on others. I would have no hesitancy using him in the future. Michael and his crew did an amazing job. I had two very old paving patios and a few old retaining…read morewalls. I shared with him what I thought was possible and Michael and team filled in the details. They ended up giving me a whole new backyard. Michael met us at the stone gallery and was patient with us while we discussed options and tweaked the proposal. He worked with us and was onsite every day. They worked very fast. They did all of the following in 3 weeks and 2 days - took down a huge rock wall 4ft x 80ft, removed 6ft ft of earth behind that, added several inches of rock and paving substrate to remove the need for a step on 2 doors, put up a new huge retaining wall, and replaced 3 small ones with steps. They did all this on a hilly property. The grass was damaged in spots and they brought in new soil and flattened it out and seeded it. They are not cheap but provided a good value and likely a better product than other quotes. One example is using some of the extra retaining wall blocks to stabilize the paver patio stays in place on both sides. Every weekend they cleaned the street and made sure to not block traffic everyday. I have more projects for Michael and team and look forward to further improving my property. I'll add more photos when all the grass comes back and I get better patio furniture.
