Flynn roofing company did a wonderful job on our roof. Stephen Flynn, the owner, answered all my calls within a very short time. He came out very quickly to assess our needs. He actually went on the roof to take a look unlike any of the other roofers. He even fixed a minor hole so it wouldn't leak before he could get out to do the whole job. My father, who is a contractor living too far away to assist me, said "That's the guy you want, the one who will go on the roof and the one who will genuinely try to help." Mr. Flynn's explanation of the work to be done and the materials that would be needed was both fair and honest. He didn't push me to spend more than was necessary to get a good solid roof. When the contract came it was very thorough. Any questions I had Flynn Roofing very quickly answered and amended the contract to reflect any changes. The job was scheduled within a reasonable window and they showed up first thing in the morning. All the while Stephen Flynn communicated the plan by text, phone call or email. Wallace, the foreman was on time, friendly and explained what was going to happen. Wallace and the rest of the guys worked really hard and well together, were in constant motion and were very courteous. The job was done very quickly, but more importantly they did a beautiful job. Even the neighbors who watched form their apartments, came by to say what a good and thorough job the roofers were doing. Afterwards they cleaned up everything. They even raked the ground next to the house and collected nails. They left the job site clean and taken care of. The final cost came within the estimate that Mr. Flynn had given for the extra materials we ended up needing to replaces pieces of rotting wood. I appreciated that we could ask questions any time and Stephen Flynn was very responsive and patient with his explanations and that he was honest and accurate with his estimate. We selected Flynn Roofing of Weymouth to replace our roof after a 2-month search for a competent professional roofer. They have it all. They document the work to be completed, they return telephone calls, and their employees are competent and neat. I learned early on with any contractor, if they do not return calls when you are requesting a bid-how will they respond if there is a problem? When I requested a list of 5 references, Steve Flynn gave me an excel spread sheet of over 1500 names and addresses of roofs they have done over the years. Once the job was completed and I reviewed the work, there was one issue regarding a vent pipe in the roof. I am not sure if this problem was always there or a function of prior work, but when I pointed out this minor issue to the job foreman, there was no blaming of possible prior work and the roofers just fixed the issue. My neighbors who recently had a roof replaced, found debris that was left by their roofers as well as nails on the ground. When Flynn completed the roof, I walked my property as well as the street in front of my house and could not find ONE nail. I was looking to have my roof replaced in 2019 and contacted 3 roofing companies for a quote. Flynn Roofing was the only company that took the time to 1) actually go up to the roof to perform an initial inspection as part of the quote process, 2) took time to explain type of roofing ventilation system that will be installed along with types of roofing shingles available, 3) explain to me that the work will be done by his actual employees and not outsourced personnel. The roof installation took 2 days to complete the work in Dec. 2019 and the owner himself was working along side his employees. Stephen came by and went over everything that would be done. Sent an email estimate along with paper copies in the mail. Sent address references so we could drive around and look at different roof shingles/colors. Flynn roofing did an amazing job on my new roof installation. Within 2 hrs they had the old roof off. Total of 8hrs later, the whole roof was done. The roof looks great. All the workers were so organized and professional. They left my property in better condition than it was before they showed up.
