There are only a few bars in Saint Anthony so I didn't have too many options but I'm glad I stumbled upon this place! It's your typical dive bar with pool tables (50 cents a game), darts, and TVs for sports. Their wells are $3 which is always a great price and they also have happy hour from 5-7pm which is 50 cents off wells. My bartender Abby was also amazing! We had some great conversations and we realized we were both huge true crime fans and were talking about a particular active case local to Saint Anthony/Rexburg (Mommy Doomsday anyone?). The locals at the bar were very welcoming to out-of-towners which is always a good feeling, and you have great conversations with random strangers which make for the best memories. Don't drive if you've drank anything alcoholic! The police will be waiting at closing time! Take a Taxi, it's much cheaper than a DUI, ask for a second driver to drive your car home (usually the same charge as the ride home). The weekend is "country" music & dancing. Live music. Plenty of room to swing your gal.

I wish we could have spent more time here. We just had time for a beer and some nachos. They didn't have a huge beer selection but we each found something we really liked. The nachos were fantastic. Round tortilla chips with a nice toast on them from the oven. And real cheese (not processed cheese food or canned cheese sauce). They had a choice of meat and we had the pulled pork, which was delicious. They had a house-made sauce they dribbled on top. And fresh jalapeno. I mean... they were really tastey! The waitress was amazing. She anticipated our every need. And she brought everything immediately after ordering even though we ordered one at a time instead of as a table. There were five of us and we were tired and undecided. But she handled that with great professionalism and a smile. They have dollar bills written on by patrons affixed the the walls all over the place. And fun little decorative items round out the atmosphere. This was just a sweet little gem on a road without a lot of traffic along a national forest. And I'm really glad we came here.
