The lawn was kept nicely and green, the arena itself was the normal dirt so it made for an awesome country concert! If a concert comes here again- GO.

I clearly did not care to be there and the constant critique only added to my annoyance of the choice of venue for our date night. I have photos showing a dirty mirror, dog hair and grime along the bathtub, and corners of walls and a spider on the wall behind the chair and one in the bathroom. There was also a lot of dust on the headboards, and the corners of the floors throughout the room were visibly filthy. The beds were poorly made. The blanket on one bed was hanging all the way to the floor, and the sheets did not fit tightly or stay properly in place. The pillows were another major problem. There were eight pillows between two beds, but quantity doesn't make up for quality. They were extremely flat and provided virtually no support. I didn't sleep well and I woke up with a terrible, painful neck. This motel seriously needs to improve its housekeeping and invest in fewer, better-quality pillows that actually provide support. For what we paid, I expected a clean and comfortable room. Unfortunately, this stay was very disappointing, and I would not stay here again. The staff was very nice but only joked about the spiders and they were not concerned about the filth. **I was there to have surgery and I always bring stuff to disinfect the room I'm staying in. I don't mind spiders but these ones moved. One got stepped on. I would have contacted the office upon arrival but I wasn't feeling well enough to bother. And I didn't even notice the spiders, bugs and filth until the day I had surgery.

They're also dog friendly, so the fact that we're able to bring our dog with us on our family vacations is a plus:) We rented a lodge and a cabin, and I would highly recommend them both... especially the lodge. It very spacious and has everything that you could possibly want in a living space. I only have 2 issues. 1) The front door (at the lodge) is broken, so even the smallest shut will cause the door to slam very loudly. 2) The fact that there's a maintaince man staying in the basement kind of makes me feel uneasy.
