As one negative review mentioned, it is set up for kids under age 8 or so, maybe even younger than that. But without a lot of older kids dominating the landscape, the younger kids are free to play. I think it's a positive thing, that it's so centered on the younger kids! I especially appreciate that it is as quiet as possible--no blaring noise from loudspeakers going on, just the noise of children happily playing. I also appreciate that it's not commercialized with lots of Disney characters or other kids' celebrities. Their castle is whatever the child wants it to be--not just a Disney castle. Overall a great place for little ones when it's too hot, windy or cold to go to a park.

On-Belay, Belay-On! Climbing, Climb-On! This is THE place to climb indoors, sheltered from the 2 weeks of blistering Summer heat we get here in Idaho Falls. The Edge hasn't been open too long, so it's not overly crowded yet. I hope it stays this way for a while. But at the same time, I hope enough people come so that they stay in business. Alternative '90's & early 2000's music plays in the background as giant fans circulate the comfortable cool air around. They've got a gear shop, snacks, beverages, comfy padded benches to sit & watch the climbers. The prices are reasonable considering the high quality of this facility. The Edge receives 5 stars from me, along with my highest recommendation.
