    Bad quality

If i would be able to give 0 stars i would. I purchased my blinds a little over a year they said that everything was cover on lifetime warranty when we purchased. However now a year mark the fabric on the blinds are getting damage and they are coming back saying that i have to pay to replace them for their bad quality fabric. Poor costumer service and acting like we damaged the blinds. Please save your money and buy somewhere else unless you want headaches.

Love! Love! Love our blinds! Finally found blinds that are light in weight, provides a sheer view, and a nice design addition to the decor. We had old wooden blinds (the expensive kind), but the slats would move out of place when bumped, too heavy to raise up, wouldn't go down without pulling the bottom and pulling the string, and they got dirty easily. These new blinds are so easy to raise up and down. Plus, they're zebra style, so keeping it closed, but showing the sheer opening, it still allows for light in. With 4 patio sliding doors, 2 full size doors, 3 large windows, and 5 windows (yes, it's a lot of windows and doors!), the price was really reasonable! Timeline: House visit for a quote is within a couple days. Installation is about a week later. Installation itself took about 3 hours. The person installing was quick. He took down our old blinds, curtains and curtain rods. Tips: Clean up is on you. We cleaned, patched up and painted the areas where the rods were. Be ready to take care of those areas. Also, they are willing to drive far. After our house, they were headed to Palm Desert for a quote. When you pick the blackout curtains, blackout is not necessarily blackout. Sun shines in between the blackout stripes, but it's not bad. Still provides enough sun blocking to keep the house cool. It's better than ones that still allow some sun. They also installed blinds at my mom's house. Some were remote controlled. So you have many choices. Service: Wonderful people! Very kind and patient with us as we asked questions after questions. Highly recommended!!

The service is friendly and accommodating. The prices are unbeatable and our blinds still look good as new 5 years later.

We recently purchased a home in Fullerton and needed window treatments. We vetted around 5-6…read morecompanies that had near 5 star reviews on Yelp. We wanted to do 8 plantation shutters (living room huge window, family room window, 4 bedrooms with multiple windows and 4 solar shades (bathroom, kitchen window, pantry window). What we learned in the process is that price range can vary quite a bit. You can get good quality basswood shutters or vinyl for $4000-$5000 range which is cheap for a whole house. These are the companies that assemble in-house and they seem like great folks and have great results so if doing shutters on a budget I recommend that route. But the issue for us was we wanted the invisible tilt mechanism by Norman shutters. If you look around the classic tilt mechanism is either old fashion tilt rod or the tilt system in the rear but the mechanism is visible. We wanted a very clean look and for that you need a shutter that has the mechanism hidden inside the frame of the shutter with no visible pieces external. This lead us to the Norman shutters and their Woodlore line. The other issue is we have a big window in our living room and so many companies wanted to split things up to distribute the weight so it would not sag over time. But the splitting took away from the aesthetics and the design we wanted which was to follow the innate design of the window. This lead us to the Woodlore Plus line (much lighter than regular Woodlore). The only guy who could do all this at a reasonable price was Rick at Budget Blinds. He has the experience to deal with difficult windows (our master bedroom) and our big living room window (with our design tastes). Rick is just a straight up dude and super kind and very personable. He takes his time at the initial consultation. Really easy to work with and talk to. His price was great compared to other companies that offered the Woodlore and their proprietary invisible tilt mechanism. When you are bringing people into your home it's exhausting and inconvenient so you want to work with someone that feels like a friend and that is Rick. We enjoyed his company and working with him. We've already referred him to another family member who are getting our exact shutters for 3 of their windows. I highly recommended getting at least a quote from him and comparing. He won't be the cheapest but you have to compare apples to apples and his Norman shutters are superior imho. I wanted quality that would last. His installer Michael is also amazing. I have to give Michael a shout out. He's a perfectionist. He's so respectful of your home. We have an Asian home and he noticed we didn't wear shoes in the house and he took his shoes off and on every time which was hard because he'd be carrying shutters in from his workspace in the driveway and constantly taking his shoes off and on. He also was so careful around the house not to bang into walls, stairs etc. his work and craftsmanship is next level. We adored Michael and wished every contractor/subcontractor had his work ethic and personality. A very gentle and kind soul. I've attached a picture of the living room window. It tilts in 3 places - the upper/middle/bottom. It allows for whatever combination we want. We used 4.5" louvers here and 3.5" in rest of the house.

We ordered top-down/bottom-up cellular shades for my home office and dining room and regular shades for a small window above our kitchen sink. Kaylee was the consultant we worked with. She was personable, positive, friendly and provided superior service. She communicated well every step of the way and set the right expectations each time. She brought several samples/swatches and left them with us to give us the chance and time to see how it looks during the day and at night. What impressed us the most was when we had minor issues on our dining room shades (it felt heavy when pulling down), Kaylee relayed the issue to the owner and the manufacturer's rep to figure it out. While it took some time to get it right, they were in contact with me each and every time which we greatly appreciated. And they made sure that we were happy with the final product. TBH, compared with a few vendors we used for our remodeling project, Budget Blinds was "the only one" who kept us abreast of what was going on and provided updates. The other vendors we hired, I had to track them down, and some didn't even reply to emails. They did not care because they were already paid. I highly recommend Budget Blinds of Tustin for high quality and fashionable window treatments. Andrew & Megan Ewing also own Budget Blinds Mission Viejo. Thank you Kaylee & Andrew for an outstanding experience!
