When I moved into my home, the previous owner put Norman brand estate/plantation shutters in the kitchen and living room, but left the other 7 windows in the house blinds. I saved up for a bunch of different house projects, with matching the shutters being one of them. Creative window coverings is one of only 3 listed Norman brand contractors in orange County, from the Norman brand website. And I wanted Norman brand specifically with the invisible tilt to match the shutters that were already there. I got quotes from all 3 people (window design group, budget blinds, and creative window coverings). I'll just say the other 2 companies were way more expensive. My cousin used to work in the window/shutter industry and he said creative window coverings price was fair, and the other companies essentially ripping me off profit wise. Creative window coverings sent Rai out to my home. He was very straightforward, honest, and gave me a lot of options and things to think about. Very knowledgeable. The other companies, one guy was in and out and didn't explain anything to me (tilt options, waterproof options for bathroom, how many panels I could choose, etc) and the other felt way too much of a sales pitch. I liked Rai the most. I went forward. Paid half the deposit. Paid the other half after the job was done. Installation was trouble free, easy, and no headaches. My house is a mess right now and they were able to still do their thing no problem. Had a great experience. Knowledgeable, friendly, very competitive and fair pricing, and I felt trustworthy that I wasn't getting ripped off and taken advantage of. Love my shutters. They look great and definitely make my home feel valuable and nicer overall. Would 1000% recommend. read more

After several other appointments with other companies, we met with Rai and after our appointment, we had no question in our minds that he had earned our business. Rai was on time, very friendly and professional, and it was very apparent that he is a truly organized, thorough, and honest business owner. He listened very closely to our needs and did not pressure us or try to up-sell us in any way. Rai truly wants what's best for his customers. The product selection was extensive and all the materials were of high quality. We placed our order and our beautiful new shutters arrived several weeks earlier than expected. Ray and Tony arrived on time for installation and got to work right away. They were courteous, fast, clean and lovely to work with. Our shutters were up and perfectly installed in about 2 hours. We couldn't be happier with every aspect of our experience with Creative Window Coverings. They were top notch from start to finish. Should we ever need additional window coverings, Rai will be my first call. I would happily recommend him to family and friends. Creative Window Coverings is the best of the best!!! read more

This was a great experience with true professionals. We had some simple sheers installed to cover our sliding glass door. It was such a simple process. After ordering the sheers it took 11 days for them to make them and install them. Everyone we dealt with was so courteous and totally dedicated to their craft. We were given a very fair price which was much lower than others. We will recommend Mr. Rai and his company to anyone that we know that is in need of window coverings. read more

Rai at Creative Window Coverings is the epitome of a quality service/product at a good price. Rai was professional, prompt, knowledgeable and provided a quote for three windows and two sliding glass doors at an astonishing price. Rai's installer was punctual and precise, he completed the entire installation in about 2 hours and made sure to tidy-up as he moved from room to room. Looking forward to working with Rai and Creative Window Coverings again soon. read more

This review is long overdue. When we renovated our house, we threw away the nasty old outdated curtains. So I needed my master bedroom curtains done from wall to wall and custom drapery for my dining room with high ceiling. After receiving 4 different quotes from Costco, a high end designer, an interior designer, and Loft curtains online for DIY with outrageous prices, I turned to yelp. I found Creative Window Covering by chance and gave them a call. Mr. Rai came over and measured our windows and gave us a quote on the spot. He was very patient and not pushy. His prices are very reasonable. It was so reasonable that I was a little scared to go with him at first. We are so glad that we took a chance with him because we love our new custom drapery! Mr. Rai came out twice to talk to us when we were choosing the fabric because my husband couldn't make it the first time. Choosing curtains is a very daunting task because there are so much to consider...fabric, fabric color, the type of tracks, the style of the tracks, the type of curtain fold, etc. On top of that, my husband and I had to agree on those choices too. Ladies, you know how stressful that could be! Mr. Rai patiently gave us his honest professional opinion without rushing us. He made the process so much easier. The installation day went smoothly. They were efficient and cleaned up after themselves. Mr. Rai came personally to install ours with one of his employees. He was very meticulous in straightening every fold of the curtain. You can tell that he really takes pride in his work! Not only does he do excellent work on the curtains, his customer service was top notch. I was in the last trimester of my pregnancy when we ordered the curtains, so I mentioned that I really wanted to have to curtains done before the baby was born. Mr. Rai was able to accommodate that even though it was a few weeks earlier than his normal lead time. In addition to that, a few months after the installation, I looked up and noticed that our curtain did not close all the way. I texted Mr. Rai and he came over to fix it for us. Customer service like this is truly hard to find these days! If you are looking for affordable window coverings of any sort with awesome customer service, I highly recommend this business! I was quoted $8000 for my master bedroom by some other business. Let's just say that I was able to get the whole house done for less than that! Mr. Rai, thank you for making our house beautiful! Our kids said, "mom, your room looks like a fancy hotel room!" read more

Creative Window Coverings - Custom shutters installed - Shades & Blinds Near Me - Buena Park, California

My wife and I recently replaced older blinds in all four of our bedrooms with beautiful Norman Woodlore shutters. We started by calling Rai at Creative Window Coverings, and within two days, he came to the house to present our product options, take measurements, and provide a quotation. We had done our research, and were pretty confident in what we were looking for, but Rai clearly described the various options we needed to consider (i.e. number of panels, blade size, color, shutter composition, frame, etc.) before placing the order. I did not obtain competitive quotes, as I was so impressed with Rai and his company, and recognized the number he quoted was less than I was anticipating for four bedroom windows. The shutters were completed and installed in under the six week timeframe Rai had estimated. Regarding the installation, it went off without a hitch. The installers were on time, professional and efficient. They were finished in about 90 minutes, and left the bedrooms spotless. We absolutely LOVE our new shutters!!! Thank you Rai, and your organization for an excellent product and a job well done!! Mark read more

First of all I appreciate someone who calls me back promptly and Rai did the very same day. I booked an appt for him to come to my house on 2/6/23 and again very punctual. Rai had many sample books for me to look at. I was replacing the pinch pleader curtains and sheets in my front room and replacing blinds in the other room. Very courteous and helpful; at one point I liked at a beige and Rai said it would look too pink, so we went thru more samples. I never felt rushed. I did book a job and he only required 1/2 down. Then in just a couple of weeks Rai contacted me for delivery and installation. 2/22 a wonderful man and his wife came and installed. Now that's the final stars, as they were thorough, even dusting off the window sills and removing all the old drapes and hardware. I'm am super pleased with the whole process. read more

I had an appointment with Ray at 9am for a drape estimate. He showed up late at 9:50, drove up the driveway and knocked down a wheel barrel full of brick while trying to make a turn.(not to mention he had plenty of room, it's a 12+ car driveway) He messed up the planter and then took off without saying anything. When I called to see where he was at, he was in the guest house driveway and did not admit to knocking down the wheel barrel. I told him I had other guys working who saw what went down. I couldn't get a hold of the person in charge, ended up cleaning the brick myself. Never got the drape estimate. This was a yelp nightmare, please save your time and don't contact this unprofessional business read more

This review is overdue, but here it is. We obtained three estimates for window coverings, for a combination of both blinds and shutters for approximately forty windows. We called a high-end outfit in Los Alamitos and then 3-day Blinds (which we thought would be more reasonably priced). There were some quality issues with the first company and their price was over $12K. The second company was about the same price, however with the second company, my wife and I both felt that we were getting the new car add on up-selling (I'm giving you 30 % off, but I'll call my manager to see if he can release any further discounts). I then called Creative Window Coverings (CWC) in Buena Park (714-739-2801) after getting their referral from a friend. It turned out that CWC uses the same brand as the other companies, however their price was about half as much as both other companies. The owner, Rai came out and did the exact measurements the first time and gave us the estimate. We decided to go with him and we were not disappointed at all. The blinds and the shutters were made and installed in just a few weeks time and the quality is outstanding. The gentlemen that did the actual installation knows his business and really did an outstanding job. We could not be more pleased with the quality of the product, and the time frame in which it all took place. The blinds and shutters look great and I would not hesitate to refer this outfit to anyone. read more

This is our 2nd time around using Creative Window Coverings this year. We had such a great experience in January with Rai and his installation crew that we hired them again to furnish the same cordless blinds for another rental property. These blinds are so clean and simple and so easy to care for and to use without all of the tangled mess that comes with blinds that aren't cordless. Rai made the process so easy and the cost was very reasonable. He's quick to respond and gets right down to business. He found time right away for us... he showed up on time both times to take the measurements himself and give us the quote right there on the spot. There were no mistakes or unexpected mishaps. Everything went smoothly! If anything goes wrong with the blinds, he backs his work up 100% too! I highly recommend this company if you're in need of any type of window coverings... They have it all! read more

Creative Window Coverings installed the Norman Plantation Shutters in our primary bathroom and master bedroom and all the shutters look great. Their prices are very reasonable for the service and quality received. We had a wait time of six weeks but as soon as that week came up we were called with an install date. Installation was completed in under an hour, which made the process quick and smooth. All employees wear face mask each time they entered our home. We plan to be a repeat customer as soon as we can. read more

I ordered cordless roller shades throughout the house & motorized blackout shades for my bedroom. I was able to choose from a variety of fabric & patterns. Ray was very professional and brought us many samples and discussed a lot of options. His quality of product and installation were top notch. We were so happy with him that he hired him three more times! My family even liked his work and they hired him also.
