I would caution other parents to carefully review Impact Dance's policies before enrolling. My experience with their trial and cancellation policies was disappointing and felt misleading. I enrolled my child in two back-to-back classes for $740 under the impression--based on how the trial was advertised--that we could cancel after the first two weeks if it wasn't a good fit. Unfortunately, the instruction during those initial classes was minimal, and my child felt uncomfortable enough that she didn't want to continue. When I requested a refund after the second class, I was told it wasn't possible because I had signed the contract prior to week one, even though I was not informed that payment and signing could be delayed until after the trial period. This key detail was never made clear at the time of enrollment. Instead of a refund, I was offered a store credit. I explained I wouldn't be able to use it until fall 2025, and at the time, they verbally agreed this would be acceptable. However, when I recently tried to register for fall or winter classes, I was told the credit had expired--and I was only being offered half of the original amount. In short, the policies feel overly rigid and not clearly communicated, and the follow-through on verbal agreements has been inconsistent. I hope the studio reconsiders how it handles these situations in the future. read more

Impact has provided the most incredible experience for my daughters! They have grown so much as dancers and as people from the instructors expertise, leadership and love! impact performing arts is an amazing place to dance. I've only been dancing here for a year and its been great! I already feel like I've improved a lot and it's a great experience. I highly recommend trying out for their team, danceworx because it's a good opportunity to make new friends and become a great dancer and they go to competitions which is fun. the students here are really nice and if you're a new student, they will make you fit in, unlike a lot of other dance schools that seem to exclude new dancers. the staff and teachers are really good and nice and push you to do your best. they give you corrections without making you feel embarrassed and the teachers will help you improve fast. impact has a lot of great classes to choose from for all ages. overall, impact is an amazing dance studio and I highly recommend coming here to learn dance! read more

Impact Performing Arts is by far the best dance studio I have attended all throughout my dancing career ! All of the dancers at the studio are very welcoming & kind to each and every dancer. The environment at the studio is very friendly, as well as uplifting & the staff does everything in their power to make sure that dancers feel comfortable and enjoy their dancing experience, while also motivating them & pushing them to become the best they can be. The owner, Tiffany, is very sweet & always puts her dancers happiness over anything, while also pushing her dancers to become professional ! I would give this place a zero as well if I could!!!! I signed up my daughter after going to their open house few months ago. The class I signed her up got canceled due to very little signups. Then we had my daughter try two other classes, of which it was not appropriate for her age, she still went. But the instructors didn't do a good job in having her in the class. Instead said she is not a good fit for the class. So I called the manager/owner more than 4 times to get my refund, it almost May now and no one has called me to give me refund or address my issues. Everyone there is so rude and gives you looks for being a different race other than white!!! Just a horrible place to learn dance!!!! read more

I'd give this business zero star if I could. We signed up a week of dance summer camp for our daughter for the week of 8-13 to 8-17. Today we went there and the place is closed. Their website says they are moving to a new location but doesn't say where. Their phone is out of service. We turned in the registration form and payed back in June. There is no email, mail, phone call if they know they are moving. I don't know if I will ever get my refund back since there is no way to get a hold of them. read more

I danced at Impact all throughout high school and was on the team for a year. Tiffany was my instructor and she now owns the studio which makes me so happy because she is fantastic!! We were all a family and a lot of the same people still work there. The new location is so nice, and they now offer adult classes which I will be starting next week! I can't wait to dance again, and I know Impact will not disappoint. read more

Today is a beautiful day so I was sitting outside on the "welcoming" front porch. Five minutes passed when a rude women came out holding a cake and said only, "we need this space!" and, before I could blink, proceeded to place her things at the table, followed by a group of excited young dancers...Seeing that a party was about to take place, I just stood up immediately, said nothing, and simply walked away. So, I never made it inside to sign up for class. Therefore I can't comment on the quality of instruction here..just the atmospherics. Upon reflection, I guess I could engaged with the adult, with hope that she understood the importance of modelling herself as a positive role model and having a more respectful approach, rather than brush me away like an annoying fly, but I simply attribute her conduct as a sign that my daughter (an honors ballet performer) would not be welcome here. Perhaps it was all a misunderstanding? I dont think so. read more

What my daughter gets out of the experience of dancing at Impact is more than just wonderful dance classes. The director has been an amazing role model for my daughter when it comes to hard work and commitment. She's also has created a space where the kids feel a real bond and care for each other. She's firm but fair and expects them to always work their hardest all that they do. This has carried into every aspect of my daughters life. This is our 3 dance school and all others have been wonderful with dance training but this one gives my daughter that something extra that goes beyond dance. read more

My kid goes to school right next to this comany at chesterbrook academy. i setup a one on one dance lesson, my kid semi enjoyed it. it w3asnt bad, but it wasnt amazing, just medium. hey kids will be kids. i think the older they get the more they will enjoy it. read more

I am sad to write this because I really wanted this place to work out for my child. I am only giving 1 star not because of how this went for my child...I am realistic and she is only 4 but because of how I felt I was treated. I called and asked about singing lessons for my 4 year old. I know this is very young but I have never had any of my children come up to me and say, "Mom, I want to ?" and my daughter had asked so I tried to deliver. When I called about my daughter they told me we could try a free intro class and see how it goes. We had to reschedule once but since we had to change to a Monday I had all my kids with me for the lesson. I understand that having 3 kids for a one-on-one lesson was hard on the teacher but I asked about this ahead of time too so as to not surprise them. I have to give the teacher two thumbs up. She tried really hard but it took the whole 1/2 hour to get my daughter to open up. She tried one activity that made her cry. Again, I don't hold that against her because you never know how a kid will react at 4. The part that bothered me was when the lesson was over. The teacher had another lesson right after our lesson so I have no real feedback from her as to how it went. Then when we got upstairs I was asked by who I think was the owner how it went . I was honest and said, "I don't think she really knew how to handle her being so young. I am not questioning her talent but the whole time I felt like I was asking a ton of questions like: I was trying to figure out if she felt I should even pursue the lessons. Do you feel she can carry a tune? Does it seem realistic at this age?" The owner just looked at me and said, "We usually give feedback until after the lessons when we have some time to think about it." To which I replied, "Why didn't she tell me this? Do you send me an email?" He then said, "She is too young. Sorry it didn't work out." I think he saw that I caught him covering for her. I felt as though I had been written off for being honest. We were actually looking for a place that has dance and singing lessons so we were hoping Impact would be the perfect fit for both but instead I think he was getting me to be quiet since he had other Moms in the waiting area. This review is for Zumba with Isaac. Without a doubt THE best Zumba teacher in the area. I have tried lots of other classes & this is by far the best. Here are the reasons: (1) his music - you literally cannot help but dance with this music. It is not the constant drum beat of same-sounding music. It is fun, current, danceable and varied - from US artists & artists from different countries; (2) his choreography - easy to learn quickly b/c there is repetition of dance steps within a song; (3) not boring - he doesn't repeat the same dance steps from song to song. That means each song keeps my interest and attention; (4) he is easy to follow. He is prominently located in the front of the room. But sometimes he has the dancing turn to the side or the back and he re-positions himself. He also moves around the dance floor to make sure everyone sees him; (5) his personality - he will make you laugh, smile, enjoy yourself. He is as much fun as his music. (6) the people in the class - nice, supportive, fun. Mostly women and we welcome newcomers with open arms. The more the merrier. (7) Dance studio - nice, atmosphere, great floors, sound system, bathroom & water fountain, easy parking, air conditioned nicely. I hope Isaac stays healthy forever b/c I'm hooked!! read more

The variety of dance instruction options and professional quality of rehearsals are wonderful, but I'm even more impressed with the welcoming, family-like environment that my daughter has enjoyed since joining the studio a couple of months ago. read more

Zumba with Isaac at Impact Studio is by far THE BEST hour of my day!!! Isaac's class is fun, engaging, and a fantastic way to exercise! I don't even feel like it's exercise, no pain, no soreness, just fun - you'll sweat, though!!! He's easy to follow, giving lots of cues, and there is such a positive vibe in the class. Friendly participants of all ages. I look forward most to the variety of music and moves - each class is different!! His class has improved all aspects of my life...I sleep better, have more focus, have tons of energy and am I becoming fit!!! You can try his class for free on Tues. at 6:30 pm, Thurs. at 7:30 pm, and Sunday at 10am. You'll love the studio, too! read more
