I spent thousands on window treatments and wanted to make sure that my investment would be preserved so it was important to me to find someone who was specially trained in cleaning these items. I called Hunter Douglas and Jim Hackl of Immaculate On-Site Drapery Cleaning is the only professional in this area who is trained and approved by them to clean their products. They also suggested that I check cfscleaning.com to learn more about cleaning methods. I spoke with Jim Hackl and he said that he's been doing this for 21 years, was certified in Atlanta and returns there every 2 years for recertification and updating on fabrics and cleaning methods. Jim cleans anything that hangs in windows so draperies also qualify and he professionally cleans upholstery as well. I hired Jim to clean a house full of Hunter Douglas duette shades and then all of the Hunter Douglas vignette shades in my house and they all look just beautiful now. When I saw Jim hauling out a bucket of very dirty water, I was astonished. I asked Jim if perhaps he brought it in with him because I couldn't imagine there being that much dirt in these shades that had been regularly vacuumed. Jim is a very nice guy, he's easy to work with, accommodating to your schedule, and his prices are reasonable. I'm delighted with his work and will only hire him to clean my window treatments and upholstery. I would recommend him without reservation. read more
