On our way to Hagerstown for my all day birthday thrifting extravaganza this past weekend this store was on my list. Pulling up I was immediately taken back by the looks of the exterior and inventory outside under a tarp. It's not the best look for sure for a retailer but I went in with an open mind. The items outside I assume are clearance. There was a book I was interested in so I grabbed it and 7 more as books were 8 for .99. Can't beat that! The inside was much cleaner than expected although very congested. The space looks like it was once an old house, complete with small rooms and turns and nooks. Trust me when I say they fill every space floor to ceiling and really do alot with a little space. Surprising it is organized and relatively easy to navigate and find what you're looking for although you might need to dig a bit. Social distancing is impossible and the spaces are very narrow. Glasswear is present in unexpected places, on top of clothing racks, etc so you constantly need to be mindful of every move. DO NOT bring kids or a large handbag as you will most certainly regret it! I wasn't shopping for clothing but did peek thru a few rows. The pieces I did see were dated but I found several collectible vintage concert tees that a picker or reseller could make profit off of. Prices overall were very low, like yard sale low and lower than anywhere I shopped all weekend. Cashier was very nice and double masked. She let me use the restroom "at my own risk due to covid", which I appreciated since we were traveling. I will add that the parking lot is rough and the location would be scary at night as this shop sits alone on a mostly wooded road.

It's been a few months since I was last there due to Covid but ventured out the day after Christmas. The front room looked as it always does, a little on the messy side and racks of clothing. I've never purchased clothes here as I find them to be dated or have condition issues but do always check them out. On this day I did find a nice blazer for $4.50 in good condition. My favorite room has always been the back. Now I'll be honest, it's a complete mess back there but does have some organization. They are definitely restricted due to lack of space. It's back there that I usually find the best deals and always thought their pricing was better than fair. This trip however it was worse for wears and looked like a hoarders paradise. Prices were 10xs over what they were in the past. Some of the used items were priced higher than I could have bought new. I overheard some other customers vocalizing what I was thinking about the price increases and how dirty the space felt so I know it's not just me. I didn't stay long as it's very cramped and hard to social distance or keep from bumping into something. They do have glasswear on display so you have to be extra careful. After some digging I was able to find a pair of Spiderman curtains for $4 in very good condition. I took that as my cue to leave. Overall the space felt very dirty this time and had a weird smell. I couldn't wait to go outside and drench myself in sanitizer. I'll still stop by if I'm passing through in hopes they get back to the way they once were.
