Sure, you could buy a great mattress online and receive it in two days, and cheaper than this place. But again, you want to buy local. The store itself is fine although the mattresses are not exactly the same as you would find at other places. They have the name brands, but they are a few hundred more dollars more expensive. Again, you want to support local. Great. Here is where it goes wrong. Bought a queen mattress and box spring here and was told it would take about four weeks (Again, online everything would come in 2 days). It would then take a week to arrive after they get it. When it is all finally scheduled and they come to the house, they can't get the box spring up the stairs. So, we change the order and pay a few extra hundred dollars for a split queen box spring. Well guess what - they ordered ONE of the two split queen box springs. Apart from them being an idiot, they are just like OH WELL! "Men, am I right?" That is literally what these two women on the phone said. Its not men, you are just a terrible business. They said it would take 1-2 weeks for the other box spring to come in. We got a call it was in (June 21) but guess what.... they can't deliver it until JULY 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am just dead at this point. It will have been over 2 months since this thing was ordered. I do not blame them that they couldn't get the box spring up the stairs, but it was THEIR ERROR that only ordered a SINGLE SPLIT BOX SPRING and then will take weeks to bring it over. I am just beside myself. I don't even have the box spring yet. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The first thing that's noticeable is "Mom & Pop" atmosphere, but not in appearance. No its in the greeting, the welcome, the smile, the helpfulness, the patience, etc.etc.etc! The thing we appreciate about shopping Yorktowne is they allow you to explore without rushing you OR without feeling as though you're being pounced on before you're barely in the door. The point is, they have it all. Not only when it comes to Customer Service but also their furniture. They have many different styles and different levels of quality and price ranges. We love that the store is still family oriented upholding the kindness of original store atmosphere which has been in the community for many many years. Jess, her Husband and Son are incredibly kind and helpful! Thank you for making our purchase a pleasure and for being patient as we were trying to make our decision. You're all amazing, and it was the best experience we've had in Customer Service for some time. If that isn't enough, when we called to make a time for delivery, I had the most amazing and fun conversation with a lovely woman (we haven't met yet) as we talked and made a date for delivery. She's a great addition to your team, I appreciated her fun loving personality, she's perfect! AND--we certainly will not forget the young men who made the delivery just as pleasant as the first step in the store. They were very personable and friendly, so thank you guys for closing our experience with your pleasant and professional service! I finally decided on a Beautyrest firm plush after considering the firm. Jason gave me a great price and I upgraded the free adjustable frame included with the mattress. Upon delivery it was found the frames fabric had little rips in it. Jason took care of it the next day and considering my inconvenience (73 year old sleeping on a mattresss on the floor for 2 nights) credited my account back a nice sum. Two weeks so far and I am sleeping better and enjoying the adjustable frame.
