The popcorn was served in a little cute box and you could pick your own drink off the table. Staff were great and the hotel looks nice. If there was one thing for me to fault and I'm probably being picky but it's that the website doesn't seem up to date with the amount of tickets available. Naturally, the tickets being free, we assumed it would be shit and spent the day wandering around all the brilliant, equally free, street performances. How wrong we were. Strolling in with two songs left we found the band on the dancefloor, the crowd on stage, the walls heaving and everyone getting down in a frenzy of funky. It's a funny feeling, knowing you probably just missed the best gig you'll ever attend. Still, they were a great two songs.

I used to volunteer there for a year or so as usher and got to see the broad variety. It's a mix of music, theatre, talks from either international renowned artists, irish art and local schools. I always found the standard very good and was never disappointed. On Mondays they use it as a cinema with mainly rather unusual, non-mainstream movies.

The one thing I have to take one star away is because they must have bought the seats in the same place as Ryanair. They are flip down seats with a gap in the back which you could fit a small dog through. Skinny people beware you might never be found again! IMI gave it a complete make over and updated the screens to digital. It reopened in the early part of 2012 The decor and the lightning in the corridor area and the screening rooms is very impressive and modern which creates a very pleasant and nice ambience . Perfect for watching a good movie! The nicest I have seen in Dublin. The seats are very spacious and comfy . You get 5 hours free parking if you ask / give your parking ticket to the person who checks the ticket as you go in . The price is very reasonable 7 euro before 7 monday to friday. For students , its is 7 euro anytime and 5 euro every tuesday ! Myself and my friends were impressed with this cinematic experience! :)

They are super friendly and have a realy sense of customer satisfaction! 1* For the place : it is a really neat and clean cinema. The seat are so comfortable! Stillorgan cinema is rarely full, has a great little costa at the front and is always clean. They have recently done up the bathrooms too which is great, as they were a bit dated alright. The screens are not the biggest in Dublin at all, but when you compare this cinema to others in the area that you can't get tickets to, I would like the option of going to the cinema at a whim on a Friday night with a choice of films, rather than waiting around in other cinemas for the next available showing! Its my favourite cinema by far in Dublin, but that is also because its where I spent half my childhood - lots of good memories, which makes me a bit biased. Even so - I would highly recommend it! :)

Everyone in secondary school who was cool used to come here on the weekends for a while, it was the cool thing to do! then it got boring and we stopped going, they introduced an entrance fee, we realised the food wasn't nice and the bowling went up a bit in price. this wasn't our dream hang out spot anymore. its still a grand spot for a spot of bowling and i have gone back quite a few times but i have only ever indulged in the bowling.
