Aaron was a pleasure to work with, and we were so happy to have him DJ our wedding! When we met him in person, he was clear about his style of DJ-ing for weddings, and wanted to make sure that he was going to be a good fit for our special day. And he absolutely was!! Here are the reasons why: We got married very recently, May 27th 2017 to be exact, and we are glad we had Aaron on our side as the master of ceremony/ DJ for the evening. Our wedding and reception was held in Roseville, California where Image Source traveled the night before, stayed at a nearby hotel, to make sure he was at the site ahead of time to prep for hors d'oeuvres mood music and the reception as well. He brought an extra speaker for the garden area, provided uplighting, gobo, pin spot lighting and personalized monogram. Our guests were wowed, as were we!!! Some people told me you can't have those two roles in one for a smooth sailing wedding, but Aaron is the real deal. We had about 270 guests at our wedding in September. It was a mixed Chinese, Vietnamese, and Filipino one so there were a lot of moving parts and different personalities to adapt to. Aaron was such a professional. He has this calm, easygoing, but compelling personality. He made sure our guests (and us, the bride and groom) knew ahead of time what event would be happening soon, moving along the timeline at a steady pace Everything went so smoothly that we never felt stressed out or concerned! My husband and I were looking for DJ that also offered emcee services for our wedding and we interviewed quite a few DJs in San Francisco with no luck and finally came across ImageSource via a recommendation through our photographer (Megan Tsang Photography). We took a leap of faith with ImageSource and made a decision to hire Aaron after just an initial phone call interview without ever meeting him in person, nor attending any events that he has done in the past, and by just going off his Yelp reviews and referral by Megan. We are so glad that we did, because from our first phone call to finally meeting him, we knew he would be the perfect DJ/emcee for us! We had our wedding earlier this month at the De young museum. Our venue had a lot of restrictions/policies and timing had to be impeccable with the tight window that we had for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in multiple locations in the museum. On May 10, 2008, I had the great pleasure to work with Aaron for the first time in throwing a surprise birthday party at Estrellita Restaurant in Los Altos, CA. I've known about ImageSource Entertainment for quit some time now, but I never had the chance to actually work with Aaron until recently. You will not be disappointed once you make the decision to use his services. First off, Aaron helped me be in touch with the restaurant which was a prime location to throw a private surprise birthday party. One the side, Aaron knows a lot of people and has great suggestions to throw an event. With the amount of work he gets in the South Bay, he can give you great advice on where to hold an event. Second, Aaron stayed in touch with me over the three months prior to the party making sure I was set with the planning portion of the evening. He made sure he had the equipment that was needed, ie. a wireless mic, a screen for a slide show, etc. and he confirmed the time that he should be there for setup. Third, and lastly, Aaron showed up sooner than expected to set up, helped with keeping the guests stay hidden from the guest of honor, and did a wonderful job MC'ing the evening introducing the guest of honor and kept the time line of the evening moving. Well, what about his DJ service you might be asking? That of course was above and beyond what is expected from a DJ. He played music that the guests wanted to hear and it kept folks on the dance floor for long periods of time. When we sat down and talked he went through a LOT of information (i.e. he puts everything out on the table and doesn't leave anything out), and showed us some clips of him in action. When we finally touched base with Aaron, he greeted us with a huge smile and chit chatted a little bit. He kept things flowing really well, coordinated with the staff at our reception site, and was really flexible when we had to move things around a bit. He made frequent announcements to our audience about upcoming events for the night, but indirectly the announcements helped remind me about our time line of events as well. During the dance portion of our reception, the dance floor was packed the entire time! I've been to weddings where there's always a period where the dance floor is spare or even empty. The only problem was that our dance floor was too small since there were so many people out. I saw people dancing who I never thought would ever dance. Even though I was already a fan of Aaron's professionalism and had witnessed his talents in action at numerous other events, ALL of our wedding reception guests, my husband, and I were so happy with the superb service Aaron provided. Our DJ was none other than Aaron Dalugdug. My husband found Aaron on Yelp. We setup an interview and we knew he was the DJ we wanted at our wedding. Aaron insisted we interview with others to see what they could offer. However, Aaron was the clear choice. He can adapt to any style wedding. An advantage was he was already familiar with our venue & knowledgeable about every key part to any wedding. When all was said and done, we booked with Aaron a little less than a year from the wedding date. Aaron does not treat you like a client but more like his friend. He answered any questions or issues we had by phone or email within a day or two. Also, we requested for him to make a mix tape of our first dance and he was more than happy to do that. Our mix tape was put together flawlessly. He helped us personalize every detail of our wedding day from ceremony to reception. We had a final phone interview a week prior to the wedding. We filled out a form that gave him all the details about the big day. Aaron made sure that the music was correct, the pronunciations of the wedding party was said right, and asked for music suggestions and any last minute detail. There was nothing we were worried about. We knew we were in good hands. All we had to do was enjoy our big day with family & friends. Aaron went above and beyond. He is one of the main reasons are wedding went so well. He made sure our timeline was being followed and kept the party going. He did a great job of reading the crowd. Non stop partying and fun. Our family did not want to leave the dance floor. Our family kept talking about how much fun they had. He is a great emcee, DJ and a great friend. He will not not disappoint. Aaron was our DJ for our wedding a few weeks ago. He was excellent. Here's a brief recap of our experience. Pre-wedding contact: We met in person once for about an hour in order to learn about his services and meet with him. He was timely, warm, and professional. A couple weeks before the wedding, he reached out with a helpful survey regarding the music and DJing required for the evening (e.g. music for first dance, cake cutting--music, timing, songs we wanted). This was efficient and useful, and helped us figure out what decisions we needed to make and to make them. Day of: Set up without a problem, played many of our requests, ran the mic as needed, and gave a positive, fun vibe to all of our guests. His music selection was generally good as well. Aaron is a very professional and intuitive DJ. And what I mean by that is - he can read the crowd! He worked a public event at a hotel for me and the mix of music he played was perfect. We had a mixed crowd of different ages and colors and he had the whole place partying! Aaron showed up early, set up, and got the party started.
