I'm a Graphic/Web Designer, and I have a few clients in the Asheville area. I live in California; however, I have some clients in Asheville who need local printing done. Printville produced many of the printed materials for a gorgeous wedding a few years ago (some planned ahead of time, and others were last minute jobs they saved us on since USPS missed delivery of some shipped materials). I've also sent my business clients there to produce projects that I've designed for them. I can't express how impressed I have been working with Printville (especially the Biltmore Park location). They always exceed my expectations on how quickly they are able to get what we need done. I used to be the GM of a 3 location print chain, and also the store manager of a FedEx Kinko's Signs & Graphics national print hub. I know the ins & outs of print production and some of the attention to detail, finishing, and challenges with production that some jobs require. Whenever I explain the details, all the reps and Store Manager knows exactly what I'm talking about. Every interaction I've ever had with Printville (whether it's chatting with customer service online, speaking to sales reps, or directly to Matt, the Store Manager) - it's been a 10 star experience! When I got home I more closely…read morelooked at my receipt and noticed two things. 1. the FedEx employee had not asked me the value of the package and put a very low value in (10) and there was a We Listen tab at the end that indicated I would receive a discount on my next order if I gave feedback. I am displeased about the inaccurate value entered without my input; the package was being shipped overnight to the Embassy of a foreign country in Washington. The agent should have asked me the value of the contents which included my passport!!! Hopefully the package will arrive safely and on time and this concern will be unimportant. It is annoying, however. Secondly, I discovered after I had given good feedback on the survey, the UNdeclared (by me) value was much lower than it should have been AND that if my next order is less than $40 I will not even get a discount! I am doubly annoyed.
