I have been a frequent customer for over a year. KC used to do my nails, and Mai did my pedicures. Unfortunately neither were there and I had new technicians. I am beyond disappointed. My nails look like a toddler did them and my feet are burned and peeling from the wax and excessive abrasive exfoliation. My feet look worse now than they did before I came in. This place is Uber busy when you come. You'd think it's because of the great nails they do, but it's probably because it's cheap and the location. I honestly stopped coming here because the manicure job had was sub par, but I didn't remember the pedicure being so bad, so I stopped in...I should have just passed by. Being that it's almost Memorial Day weekend,I knew getting my nails done after Thursday would be a big wait. I decided to stop today and get them done. Walking in the door I saw the shop was already packed. I didn't mind too much of a wait but wanted to know how long. I was told, "We do for you right now." I figured it was a lie, but I entertained it. Besides I needed to go to the bathroom and pick a nail color anyway. BTW- the only safety protocol that they did was ask me to wash my hands. There are no shields in the pedicure or manicure areas, so if that is a must for you, don't come here. Once I picked out my colors, I didn't know which chair was mine, so I went back to the front to ask. Me and another guy just sat there waiting for the liner to be put in the bowl. I started my timer by then because right now doesn't mean I sit without services being done much less not even soaking to prepare for the services. A fee minutes later, someone popped by to place the liner in the bowl and turn on the water, but once I let it run a little and placed my toe in the water, it was way too hot! Usually I'm the one saying I need the water hotter. It was scolding hot. I patients waited on the side of my chair until someone came by and told them. They adjusted it but I still waited a while before I put my feet in. If it wanst for the fact that I knew tomorrow and the entire weekend would be busier than this, I would have left, but I stayed.. the end result was toe nails that were not cut across evenly and misshapen after closer examination. A rush job because they're more worried about getting as many people through the door than gaining and keeping customers. I will definetly pass this place up next time. read more

For convenience of location, I tried this nail salon for the first time and had a gel manicure. First I was given the color options which I tediously studied until I found my perfect color. Once the technician arrived, she pulled the color palette from me and said I had to choose from another group of colors. After starting ALL OVER AGAIN on finding the right color, I found one which the technician told me wouldn't work so to choose another. Finally, the 3rd color I chose was acceptable. The service was very slow. When we finally got to the polish part, she didn't cover my entire nail - so much so that you could clearly see the white "moon" shape at the base of my nail. I knew if she left it like that then my freshly painted nails would look grown out already when I left. I asked her if on the 2nd coat, she would cover the base and sides of my bare nails. She couldn't understand me and started mouthing off to one of her colleagues who never even came over to translate. I tried communicating again in sign language and she added another coat that was better than the first but still not covering the entire nail. I am now 5 days post manicure and my cuticles are raggedy, my polish looks like it's grown out by 2 weeks already and it is chipping. I've been here several times and haven't had any major issues until today. The tech doing my nails rushed through the service. I had to point out how he missed painting the clear polish on the big toe, had to point out where he smudged my nail and didn't repolish it, and had to point out all the excess paint around my toe he didn't wipe off. In addition, they wanted to do my manicure after the pedicure b/c it was getting busy, but had ample time to do both when I first arrived as I was the 3rd person in when they first opened. The place is super dirty; there are massive spider webs and empty water bottles by the front counter. I needed to get my acrylics off asap and chose this location because it's right by my house. I soaked my nails for like 5 minutes then a lady came and pried the acrylics off with another fake nail. It's hurt so bad and she could tell I was in pain but just laughed. If I could give zero stars I would. Clearly I didn't read the reviews before allowing my daughter to go here. At the end of her service she paid with her debit card and I could clearly see the transaction pending her account. I walk in to see what the hold up is and the workers are accusing her of not paying and her card didn't go through. Again can clearly see it pending and money gone from the account. So at this time about 2 workers are surrounding a cell phone with a guy yelling through. About 5 mins later I found out it was the owner because he came flying through the door again accusing my daughter (who is 15 by the way) of not paying. I showed him the pending transaction and even had my bank and his merchant on the phone explaining to him exactly what happened his own staff reversed the transaction after it had already processed. Before the solution the owner wanted to charge my daughters card again. No put the funds back that you just took and then reversed. We can't even get an answer on why reversed. He just wanted to continue to accuse her of not paying. Didn't even apologize to my daughter once he saw he was clearly wrong. Terrible terrible customer service and yelling and accusing my child is an absolute no. Never going back!!! Even though I said "no cut and LIGHLTY file", I left with very short and damaged nails from very rough filing. One week later, the polish is chipped and nails look & feel horrible. I came here due to my Aunt recommending this place to my mother. I knew when I pulled up that I was not going to like this place. You can usually tell when a place just seems like it's going to be a mess. I decided to give it a try anyway. There is a sign on the door stating that masks are required. If you do not have one then you can purchase one. Upon entering, I was asked by the guy behind the plastic partition what services I would like. After I told him, I was told to wash my hands. Well the soap provided had clearly been watered down to the point that it barely even lathered, so not sure how effective that was. I initially was going to get a full set and a pedicure. I sat down to get a full set but soon realized that the guy who greeted us was going to do my nails. Per my aunt's recommendation she stated to only let one of the ladies do my services. I politely told the guy that I would like to have a lady do my nails instead. I was then seated at the pedicure chair. The pedicure chair was raggedy. It's clear they've had them for a while. The right side fold out was broken and the massage part was creaking and making all kinds of noises. The initial woman who started on my feet did not follow my directions. I asked her to file my toes square, especially my big toes. I like my toes to be uniformed. I looked away and then back at my feet and I noticed that she had filed my big toe completely round. After I told her that's not what I asked for, she said it was square and then claimed my big toe nail was broken and that's why she filed it that way. After going back and forth with her, she stated something in her language, and then had the man that had attempted to start my nails file my toes somewhat the way I initially asked. Then another woman came over and finished the pedicure. Overall the pedicure was awful and I was not satisfied. A pedicure should be relaxing ... it was not. I didn't have the energy to press the issue anymore and just decided I won't ever return here anyway. Since no one ever came over to do my nails while I was getting the pedicure, I decided to not get my nails done. I figured it would be just as bad if not worse than the pedicure. I had seen several people come in after me and were getting both nails and pedicure services done at the same time. This further annoyed me. When I got up from the pedicure chair with my card in hand ready to pay, all of a sudden everyone magically remembered about me asking to have my nails done when I first walked in. I stated that I no longer wanted my nails done and explained briefly the reason why. I kept getting harassed about it. The guy mentioned throughout this review kept stating someone could do it in 15 minutes. Why the hell would I want a 15 minute rush job full set?! ANYWAY, I kept politely saying no and still the harassment continued. I finally stopped speaking period. As I was paying, the guy took my payment and kept asking is everything okay. I was truly annoyed and therefore had no energy to explain the issues any further. FYI: They are not practicing social distancing nor are they limiting capacity. They are also not wiping down or spraying any of the chairs between customers. I will never return here and I advise anybody else not too either. read more

Then when you say you no longer want services they literally harass you to stay. The quality of work they do is just as bad as the customer service, if not worse. My daughter and I went in on Xmas eve for services.my daughter received services from the guy with the glasses in the first chair that appears to be the manager. Two days after getting them done two of the nails just came right off with a third one lifting..She didn't hit them or anything. It didn't even leave a scar on her nail..came right off like press-ons..next day third one came off same way. Went in on NYE (because I'm a working single mom), Tina fixed the 3 nails. For $15..but two days later ALL the other nails popped right off..just like press-ons..that was the last straw for me. this situation was one big mishap that just landed on a pile of many small issues and/ or complaints with them...sadly I've been going here for years because it's convenient to where I live and at times the quality was hit and miss depending on the technician you see..but there's been just way too many misses at this point..I'm done with this nail salon for good! read more

This place is truly hit and miss, but usually a miss. There are only one or two talented nail stylists that do their best, don't perform a bad job, and their work lasts several weeks and a few months. One of them is named Miya and she's talented and awesome. However, the owner doesn't like it when my relative and me insist on using Miya, and he would rather have a bunch of below average nail stylists do our nails which barely last a good two weeks. They may even start chipping a day afterward. Recently, I got a pedicure and manicure and I picked a non chip nail polish that's supposed to at least a month. I paid $50 thinking it will last, but the color had already started fading after two weeks. My hands have not been exposed to any chemicals or anything that could damage the color. Of course the owner doesn't care so now I will only go to this establishment if Miya does my nails. read more

Tried to give them a chance and they continue to fail! Got a shellac refill on Wed. I paid $39 for a REFILL! They said it was because I changed from powder. By Sat several of my nails were kissing polish. The shellac was peeling back. I came in the following Mon tried to change the polish, but the owner instead she could fix the issue with same polish. By Wed the following week my nails are chipping again! Attempted to make my 3rd visit for corrections but it was completely full! I won't ever come back and I wish I could dispute the $130 I paid on my original visit. I have witnessed the people fail so many times in customer service. I fault myself for going back! Your main concern should be if I am coming back to give you repeat business, not a TIP. This was the first time and very likely the last time I will go to this nail salon. They didn't do a horrible job, but it didn't make me want to come back. The tech that did my many and pedi was very nice, but absolutely clumsy and slow. There were no issues with my pedicure really, but after that it all went downhill. She moved me from my chair to a table for my manicure and I sat there for about 15 minutes before she came back to do my mani. She starts and a couple minutes later steps on my freshly painted toe. Okay, no big deal, but then she does it again on my opposite toe!! By that time I was done. A basic manicure took over an hour and that's only because I chose not to have my nails polished since I was ready to go.
