Every other doctor I've been to treats me like I'm crazy and talks AT me rather than with me. But not Dr. Dorio! He spent close to an hour with me, talking things through and looking things up on his phone for me. I've never felt so validated and TAKEN CARE OF in my life. (Which is crazy, because isn't that what doctors are supposed to do in the first place?) The only "real" negative about Dr.Dorio's office is the office itself. It's a bit like you time traveled to an asylum in the 70s -- small, windowless rooms, very dark hallways, etc. I definitely wouldn't want to be alone in there when the sun goes down, that's for sure! I am a former patient of this once beloved physician. Dr. Mysko was referred to me by a longtime…read morefamily friend with whom was a patient for 30 some years. I thought I had found the perfect physician in Dr. Mysko who reminded me of an old time country doctor. Unfortunately this perfection didn't last very long. I experienced numerous billing errors with my insurance co-pays, duplicate insurance claims and difficulty making appointments with his gossipy and snippy receptionist. . I must add that the doctors RN, Ris, was very knowledgeable, kind and professional, she went out of her way to accommodate my medical needs. In my opinion, Dr. Mysko failed to provide me with the medical care I needed but had no problems billing my insurance company for procedures I do not need. He also prescribed medications to me that I later found out that not only did I not need but the medications caused me some nasty side effects that I wasn't expecting. I had been having trouble sleeping and my insurance company referred me to another medical specialist. That specialist tried numerical times to confer with Dr. Mysko by phone and email yet got no response. I reminded Dr. Mysko quite a few times to no avail Later in my tenure with this doctor he agreed that my medical condition warranted being placed on long term disability and had his nurse give me some paperwork to complete which I did and submitted to the state of California who in turn contacted Dr. Mysko for my medical records and his recommendation. To my surprise Dr. Mysko never completed the required medical information even after many, many letters and phone calls from the state and me. Consequently the claim was denied which put me in a financial situation for five months time until I finally was able to relocate with family members yet never have been able to work again. It's my opinion that this physician has made so many false promises to me that I'm unable to recommend him and his services to anyone. Perhaps it's his time to retire and live off the profits of his many braggadocio real estate holdings including the building his practice is in.

From the friendly and patient front and back office staff, to my knowledgeable and highly professional PA, Harold Wong, who I have gained immense trust in. Dr. Wong listens carefully to my concerns during visits, and has greatly improved the condition of my health since I first began going to SCV Quality are. His knowledge in primary care is remarkable, and I appreciate that he always considers my specific situations for my care. My lab results have all normalized under his care, and I credit Dr. Wong completely for that. Can't forget the staff. All the staff I have encountered at this facility are incredibly friendly, professional, and efficient. But later I came on my appointment and the dr did it for me. Second time I had problem with them is when I came to my appointment and they said I did not have one. I had to make a new appointment and came back with the appointment card that they gave me for the appointment that they said I did not have. Now strike three, I came in for blood work on my day off today. A week before my appointment like my dr told me to do. They said they couldn't do it because it says on the paperwork to come in April. I told her my appointment was April 3 and this was a week before. Then I ask is the dr in today, she said he comes in at 9:00am (it's 8:45am). Okay I gave her the paper for the bloodwork to give to the dr when he came in. Because I'll be in the area for a couple of hours. I called at 10:20am to see if the dr got the massage. She said she emailed him ( email dr why there in the same office). Called again at12:00pm as I'm leaving the area. Again they said the email him and then I said I'll do it when I have my appointment on April 3. So I fasted for nothing. Then I got a call 1:55pm saying I can do the bloodwork today. Really!!! I'm not in the area anymore and it take them over 4 hours to get back to me when the doctor is a few feet away. WOW I think I'm going to look for new doctor. Very disappointed
