I'd say that if you can go somewhere else you'd probably be seen a bit faster. when I finally was brought out of the waiting room into a bed, it was in a hallway, where I was kept overnight and was finally put into a "room" the next morning at about 9 am. All of the ER tests and things were done in the hallway. Other than the time and the wait. The care I received was second to none. I was given attentive Nurses and doctors who were competent and actually figured out what was wrong with me. Hopefully this review guides you in the right direction.

I gave them ALL of my Aetna insurance information and they told me my insurance was valid and accepted there. I also had just spoken to someone at Aetna and they TOLD me that my insurance covered me down in LA. So I set up an appointment. What could go wrong? Well, the whole fucking thing actually. See my previous comment of "Fuck this place." So I set up the appointment and the doctor was great. He set me up for my bi-annual labs (I had some cancer markers previously) and some X-Rays for some hand a foot pain I was having (likely due to Peripheral Neuropathy, but was being cautious). Everything sounded great right? Covered. Good doctor. Efficient exams. But, ah, see, actually... I wasn't covered. So between Aetna telling me I was, Cedars-Sinai confirming I was and no one in the doctors office doing their due diligence to make sure I was covered, NO ONE COULD TELL ME I WASN'T. Then the bill came for almost $900. I disputed it multiple times thru Aetna and they came back and basically said that even though someone at Aetna told me I was covered, it was still my responsibility if they were wrong. So, also FUCK AETNA. But also fuck Cedars-Sinai for not verifying it all properly. So today, I just put $900 on a credit card. This fucking United States business just keeps adding up and I'm telling you, zero stars to the United States, Aetna and Cedars-Sinai not having our back on anything. Takeaways: 1. Fuck this place. 2. Fuck Aetna. 3. Fuck healthcare. 4. It's more affordable to just die.

Since pathology noted that the cancer had reached her skin, both Dr. Richardson and Dr. Cassileth even had my wife come back in for a second surgery to ensure the margins were as clear as possible since this was such a aggressive cancer. I'm am writing this review sitting back in her waiting room a year and half later after we reached out this morning after my wife felt a lump in the same place the original lump was felt. I recently redid a similar diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound at the Randal Breast Facility in Pasadena, and they only charged me $58 (and notified me beforehand what it would cost). Both these facilities are within my network. Why the insane price difference? These guys at Bedford are just there to make profit, not to treat you. I also only got to see a doctor there for half a minute and both doctor and nurse were rude and laughing when I starting crying upon diagnostic. They showed absolutely no empathy. Very poor experience. Avoid this place at all cost.

I can't speak for their normal urgent care services- this review is for their Covid testing…read more Free PCR Covid tests and $89 rapid tests (I'd recommend getting a free rapid test at Hummingbird down the street instead). You walk up, call a phone number on the door and tell them you're there for a Covid test. Someone brings you out a clipboard which you fill out. You wait 20-30 minutes in line outside, get your nose swabbed, then get the PCR results within about 24 hours. The first time I got a PCR test, I didn't get the result emailed to me in 24 hours and when I called, it sounded like the lab was running behind, but they got it to me in about 28 hours. So nice to have free PCR tests! Thankful for them.

In the quiet waiting area with ppl whispering, it's literally plus 60-70db over ambient. Thats equivalent to someone turning on a stereo full volume by accident. It can happen 5-10 times in one minute as it's a busy place. And you jump! Simple detail adjust door closer with a Phillips screwdriver in like one minute. I have been coming to this building for 14 years and its the same! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU ALL. Maint you should be ashamed of your lazy asses. Admin, If you arent noticing this, you are not concerned with patients. Apparently, doctors techs researchers receptionists being able to concentrate is not high on the list here at UCLA. The tech explained that if i didn't do the 2nd hour scans (he says i was only approved NOT to do one of 3 scans, the cat scan, and leave out the cat scan, and i was supposed to do a 2nd scan i didn't know about. I had been told catscan was the only scan in addition to the first, so they were planning to do 2 MORE, and i had to stay for the 2nd hour anyway to do 1 of the 2. I said, if they need the catscan later, they will have to inject radioactive dye again, right? 'yes' he said. So I said, just do all 3 scans. i think the injection is more concerning than the xrays. So he prooceeded to do all the scans AND THERE WERE FOUR SCANS NOT THREE!!!! What is so f'ing hard about explaining what you are f'ing doing? I want to understand it the way YOU understand it. Not a Gong Show version. Not professional.

There were many food stations and everything being made to order. Why walk down to the populated busy food area when there are wonderful options so close by! There were almost too many options...but I decided on the tostada salad. I got it loaded with beans, chicken, lettuce, cheese, olives, green onion, and pico...all on top of a baked shell. It was very delicious and as a combo, it came with a medium drink...which all totaled about eleven dollars. If I need to go to Pauley Pavilion again...I will stop here for sure!

Today I completed my last treatment. The complete experience, from my first visit for a consult to my last visit/treatment today, was beyond satisfactory. All the staff were friendly and greeted me with smiles on a daily basis; they were attentive, answered questions, interacted on a personal level, and were always professional. I felt so comfortable each day when I arrived. Fortunately, I had no side effects from the radiation therapy and was able to maintain my routine daily activities throughout the course of therapy. I know that I received excellent care and highly recommend this facility and its staff AND especially Dr. Leslie Botnick who is ethical, compassionate, warm, and has a delightlful sense of humor!! I had a 3:15pm appointment with Dr. Mendoza, on the 10th of this month for my yearly physical. Got there 15 minutes early and Blanca at the front desk checked me in & Silvia checked me out. Both ladies were very nice, helpful, pleasant and polite. For a physical, they don't charge you. By the time I took a seat in their waiting area, which is very clean with complimentary water (hot and cold), my name was called by Christina. She took me to room #10 to do all my vitals. This lady is just AMAZING in every way on every level. She is the sweetest, soft spoken, kind, nice, helpful medical assistant that I know of. She has seen me twice before. Did her job and left. She is also very knowledgeable & compassionate. Next up is my primary doctor, Dr. Mendoza. He goes over my chart/records and highly suggested for me to take a Pneumonia shot addressing that people over 50 are highly recommended to do so, but NOT required. So the ball was in my court. I agreed to take that shot to prevent from other illnesses in the near future. Especially, when I suffered from Shingles not too long ago. Dr.Mendoza is good. He can be a bit more thorough, he is a bit too fast and quick. However, he does know his job pretty well. I wish one day he can address me by my name. Requested 6 different types of blood work and left the office. The entire visit overall took less than an hour. Blood work normally takes 24 to 48 hours for us to get our results. Dr. Mendoza replied/emailed in less than 24 hours. Thank you for that. Christina came back to give me the shot. She was so gentle that I didn't even feel the needle in my left arm. She even asked me if I am right handed or left. Based on my answer, she did what she was supposed to do. It's a 2-story building so I went back to the 2nd floor to get my labwork done. It was easy, breezy. Kenneth, that could have been a little bit more pleasant and slap a smile on his face was not that welcoming like Rosario is. Did his job and I left. Underground parking, very steep, watch the walls not to crash or hit the wall and other cars. 2 elevators working perfectly, and they accept most credit cards, most insurance plans/payments and that's all that I know. Bathrooms are available on both floors and overall the bathrooms and facility are very clean!! This building used to be some movie/celebrity building. They have so many of black and white photos of late celebrities. Too beautiful. Don't listen or read those negative, one or two star reviews. Negative people will always stay negative. Whatever that you do for them, it's never good enough. But they still keep going back to the same restaurants, stores, hospitals, cleaners, gas stations etc.. Blanca also gave me an appointment with Dr. Cheng on 7/24 at 3:40pm. Thank you all very much! Our health is in THEIR HANDS!

I even gave them the benefit of the doubt after my own experience and scheduled my husband there, and they did the exact same thing to him. At this point, something feels seriously off. I've already contacted UCLA and will also be reaching out to Anthem and the Medical Board because I think this practice deserves a closer look. I don't know what's going on, but this is not how a professional medical office should operate. The staff also seem disorganized and often don't appear to know what's going on. This is not the standard I expect from a practice affiliated with UCLA, and it's honestly embarrassing that they're associated with the UCLA name. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I genuinely can't recommend this office.
