I attended a private event here for creators and it was such a beautiful space! With plenty of street parking outside the inside was a beautiful open modern space great for events if you're ever looking for a place I recommend.

The space is clean and tidy. Great lighting and climate controlled. Comfortable space to sit and lounge. New equipment. Very spacious and put together. Perfect for gathering and meetings.

Such a nice venue for events! I got to meet with so many wonderful local brands and creators here. Plenty of street parking nearby and they also have a dedicated gated lot.

This space is so gorgeous and spacious and is also versatile! I was able to enjoy a meeting here and the seating was so comfy. The lighting is great and in working condition. They also have lovely plants for a great ambiance. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. It's very clean and well maintained. Street parking is a little tricky but still available in the area. I love all the couches and tables and chairs!

What a stunning and welcoming space! I attended many wellness events here, and each time it's been clean, inspiring, and a great space to visit. Highly recommend coming here, or co-working here if you're looking for a clean and friendly third space!

I attended an event at ima and discovered that this is a newer coworking & community space. I loved the aesthetic and how much light comes in through the skylights. There's a small kitchen where they had different snacks to try out and refreshments. Our event had different breakout groups and then we came together around the stage. There was plenty of space, seating, and furniture to utilize. Also, there's a podcast studio that can be rented which is a really cool feature. It is mostly an indoor space but there are so many different nooks. Felt like a warm and inviting spot so it's a good place to break up the routine of working from home or the cafe. Free gated parking is available which is nice.

Great venue for events - very clean, spacious, modern design. I attended a founders event here - there were pitches, product tastings and networking. Ima Members Lounge was great for this event.

Such an amazing spot. The coolest vibes for everyone to get to get together and collab.

After college, and entering the working world, it felt like it was even harder to connect with others. That is why I was so pleased to have found CrashSpace. Everyone has been so nice and welcoming. I truly felt like I could be myself and be accepted. CrashSpace has a lot of tools and machines to work on your various projects. But more importantly, CrashSpace is a COMMUNITY of people from diverse backgrounds, disciplines, and experiences. I think the biggest asset has been the knowledge base that the whole community has and shares with each other. CrashSpace is volunteer run and you can tell that really passionate people invest their heart and soul into keeping this organization alive and thriving. CrashSpace is very active with regularly occurring weekly events, monthly meet-ups, and hands-on workshops. It seems like there is always something fun going on at CrashSpace. If you're an artist, maker, DIYer, designer, techie, programmer, cosplayer, tinkerer, engineer, educator, STEAM fan, I think you'll really like CrashSpace.

I attended events here as a guest and had multiple experiences that raised serious safety concerns…read more At one point, an individual who appeared to be actively using drugs and attempting to steal money from attendees was allowed to remain in the space during an event, despite multiple people being uncomfortable. There was no clear leadership response or removal. Separately, I was invited by a member to an off‑site party connected to this community. After that event, I experienced sudden disorientation and memory loss inconsistent with my alcohol intake. I went to the hospital, was evaluated for head trauma (none found), and the attending physician concluded I was most likely drugged (e.g., roofied). What was most alarming was the response afterward. Rather than concern or accountability, multiple people connected to this group aggressively pushed a narrative that I "just got too drunk" or "hit my head," even after being informed of the medical evaluation stating otherwise. The takeaway was clear: when something serious happens, this community protects itself -- not women who are harmed. There is insufficient leadership, security, or safety protocol to protect members, especially femmes. If your personal safety matters to you at all, I would strongly recommend steering clear.

Members are from a wide age group, diverse backgrounds, and botanical interests. Some are garden newbies while several are master gardeners. You can come and bring your questions or just to listen to the speaker, all are welcome and meetings are free to guests. Membership is only $12 a year for an individual or $18 a year for a couple so you can't beat that! Most meetings also have a raffle for plants and cuttings from the members' gardens and the show has a FABULOUS raffle of prizes donated by local businesses! It has Internal Revenue Code 501 (c) (3) non-profit status. Membership is open to anyone interested in plants, gardening and the environment. The Club has more than 100 members ranging in age from 8 to 94 years old. Members live in a wide geographic area and reflect the area's diversity and varied living arrangements. Members include both novice gardeners and experts. The CCGC is a general interest club and does not focus on just one kind of plant or one aspect of gardening. Activities The Club usually meets on the first Tuesday of each month. Most meetings include a "Show, Tell & Ask" session, a speaker presentation, and refreshments. The meetings are free and open to the public, and one needn't be a member to attend. The Club prepares and distributes a Monthly Newsletter with timely garden tips for each month, a calendar of gardening and plant events throughout the Southland and information about the scheduled speaker. We also sponsor a Garden Hop where we visit some members' homes. At least since 1953, the Club's primary public event is its Garden Show, held annually in the Veterans' Memorial Auditorium. Last year, the Show attracted an estimated 400 attendees and more than 250 plants were entered. The Show features a Plant and Flower Exhibition, Gardening Education Workshop and a Plant/Gardening Supplies Sale. Admission is free and always has been.

We headed downstairs for the event and kicked things off with appetizers. that hummus with pita and fresh veggies? dangerous. smooth, flavorful, and beyond addictive. I had three plates and would've gone back for more if i didn't need to save room. I thought, "okay, this is a solid start"... but you know how these things go, sometimes the appetizers are the peak. Not here! Then... the entrées came out, and I knew I was in the right place. We enjoyed: fresh, crisp salad juicy fried chicken creamy mashed potatoes steamed broccoli a vegan mushroom pasta so good it had me singing and humming. The standout: tender, perfectly cooked salmon topped with pickled veggies -- an unexpected treat that took the flavor to a whole new level. after one bite, Iinstantly knew this is how i'll be cooking my salmon from now on. i'm talking rich, savory, soulful perfection. The staff? wonderful. attentive, kind, and fully in tune with the energy of the event. the kind of service that makes you feel cared for without hovering. Overall, the gathering spot left me thoroughly impressed -- from the ambiance to the food to the hospitality. I would absolutely host an event here, and i'll be back whenever i'm in town because I fully intend to work my way through their entire menu. This place is a gem. Check them out!

When he called and asked if I had ever been here, I responded and said no-to which he added that it was understandable being that "Joe Blow" can't just come in here and plop down for a bite-you need to be invited by a current resident and be placed on the guest list. If you want to be transported back in time, specifically either the 70s or 80s on a Friday night, you'll definitely want to come in and dine. The crowd is a nice mix of resonance or friends and or associates of the residents who live there. And while it's certainly not an assisted living home, the average age of the crowd when we attended was certainly on the north side of 60, and for over half of them pushing 70 easily. The ambiance, physical structure, layout & features (both overt and subtle) of the Dockside restaurant mirrored that (era/time/age of the location in every way-and in this particular case I would argue that's a good thing. My guest and I both went ahead and ordered the chicken tender salad, with him opting for blue cheese and myself going with ranch for the dressing. We both agreed it was better than average. Since I don't do alcohol, I didn't order any drinks, but he stated the two drinks he did order were excellent. All in all a great experience at The Dockside restaurant here at the Marina City Club restaurant where depending on what day and time you arrive, you will be treated to some jazz, old disco, or any combination thereof. If you want to go back in time a bit, it's a nice place to visit if you can get on the guest list.
