Had lunch at the restaurant at culver hotel. It was an enjoyable experience. And a great way to kick off the weekend. I've been here for dinner before and had to wait for tables but lunch time was not crowded which was great because the service was spot on. We started with bread service with a French butter. The wagyu tartare which I don't eat but those at the table raved about it. We also had the shrimp cocktail which had a nice presentation but if I went again I'd pass. It's good but nothing special. We also had the tomato and burrata salad that was excellent. My main dish was a nicely prepared seabass. It wasn't a large piece of fish but it was lunch so the portion was perfect. We finished with the coffee crème brûlée and apple crumble with a side of ice cream. Good desserts and again, for lunch it hit the spot. I had a sangria that was very mid. But then switched to what could be my favorite drink of the summer. ARE YOU A GOOD WITCH OR A BAD WITCH. The answer probably depends on how many of these you put down. Tequila, hibiscus, habenero and a side of sparking rose. The entire table ended up getting these and loving them.

My daughter is pregnant with my first grandchild so we arranged to have a baby shower at this location. We weren't aware that the World Cup was going on the same weekend so the prices for the room were outrageously high. This is a record for the most I've ever spent on a room. The hotel is a historical one having been there for 100 years. We planned a brunch for about 30 guests. The food was pretty good. I didn't get any pics of the buffet. It was a pretty hot day but we had the main room with a long table then a nice outdoor area for the drinks and couch spaces. The room was pretty nice but they charged me an upgrade fee of $28 per night on top of the $1000.00 per night, seriously...and they claimed to have given me a 15% discount on the room... On Sunday morning at 7;20 the fire alarm went off for a solid 20 minutes..when we called down they said; "It was a false alarm and they are trying to find a way to turn it off, wow. It kept going on and off intermittently for about one hour! What a horrific way to wake up. I mean with the prices they charge a new alarm system should be on the menu. The service was pretty good but I felt I was over-charged overall, see all receipts.

What better way to close out your Wed evening wjth some swing, jazz, and other 40s-50s era music and a nice Cesar chicken salad inside the classic Culver Hotel here in downtown Culver City? Took a few brief vids to give y'all a sample. All in all, a pleasant evening. Did I mention the service was impeccable? CSA (customer service All Star) server Philippe H-pictured was timely, super professional, and had a sense of humor to boot. A veteran server from France, it doesn't hurt to hear that magnificent accent is well right? Thanks Philippe H, your credit to the Culver Hotel brand

I used to come here a lot about 15 years ago, but I hadn't been since then, and it was such a delight to find that this little area of Culver City has been able to keep up its vibe! The Culver Hotel is such a sweet little find. They offer live music most days of the week and the vibe inside is trendy-chill. There is the velvet room lounge upstairs, which has more of a club-glam feel, if you're more in the mood for that. We wanted something more chill. We didn't dine there (although maybe we should have because the spot we chose down the street was not great) but wanted to stop in for some live music and a nightcap. They don't have Tito's vodka at the bar but they do have chopín which is gluten free. My dirty martini was perfect - and paired with the jazz music - we had a lovely ending to a fine evening. I will definitely return and tell my music, loving friends about this spot!

Thank you Billy for the great service with me and my mom! We did go to the place you recommended for brunch this morning, and we both really enjoyed it as well. See you next time!

The location is beautiful and there's a public parking garage right there. If I lived closer I imagine this might be a regular spot to meet people and have drinks. I had the spicy rigatoni and added chicken. I prefer my pasta a little "wetter" with a little extra sauce ... This was served with no extra sauce ( I guess I should have asked for more). The pasta was cooked well, maybe just a hair past al dente, and the sauce had good flavor. Although, it was called "spicy" I didn't find it particularly spicy. Still, it was good. My friend had the sea bass and said it was good. But it looked cut a bit thin to me. The service was fine, though a little slow. I didn't feel particularly welcomed by the hostess when I arrived a little earlier than the rest of my party -- she just waved me to the bar and seemed too busy to look up and ask if I wanted to be seated or ask if I wanted anything. Also, why can't they validate parking? I can spend $5 to get ice cream next door and get validation while our party spent $200+ and can't?

Finally made it to the Culver Hotel for dinner (had only been for tea) and it was genuinely so incredible. The service was impeccable and the vibes were awesome. Huge points for the live music. I felt like I was in NYC the whole time. I loved it. The food was delicious from the bread to the appetizers to the mains. Nothing missed! I am bummed that the truffle carbonara pasta I ordered (best I ever had, truly) was leaving the menu the following day for a seasonal pasta to come in, but I'm excited to try their seasonal offerings and of course, the carbonara will be back! Don't sleep on dinner at the culver hotel. It was SO GOOD! *bonus points for a perfect dirty martini!

Came here for brunch, as we haven't been back since the restaurant changed from Lillie's Bistro and we wanted to check it out. Gotta say the pastry basket was excellent. I forgot how much I love great pastry. No notes. The egg sandwich was a safe bet, and it's kinda hard to mess that up, especially on brioche. The husband's breakfast burrito was boring and bland. The side of sad green salsa didn't help matters. But it was the inattentive service that really missed the mark. Truly uninterested staff. Very bizarre. Idk if we'll be back to try dinner, maybe it's better? RIP Lillie's, you're sorely missed.

Always love The Culver's wonderful lounge and super eclectic and comfortable outdoor space - both very dog friendly for well mannered pups. They have a very tasty French onion soup that I get every visit, the steak with frittes quite delicious, always solid service and well crafted cocktails. The menu has adjusted a bit since they took back over from the bistro, but they haven't missed a beat and definitely recommend for brunch and dinner.

My husband and I stopped by the Culver Hotel while walking around the area. We decided to come in for some drinks, and we both really enjoyed what we ordered. The drinks were tasty and well made. Nothing fancy, but definitely solid. The inside of the hotel is gorgeous. It's beautifully decorated with that classic vintage vibe, which makes it a really cool spot to hang out. Plus, the location in Culver City is super convenient if you're walking around. It's easy to get to and close to lots of other great spots. If you're driving, there's a public parking lot super close to it.

My flight was very late so I arrived just before midnight... and the power was out at the hotel due to an emergency Southern California Edison repair nearby, which the hotel made clear was outside of their control. Regardless, aside from some lanterns at the front door, the hotel was completely dark. My Uber driver laughed and wished me luck. Then an employee guide with a flashlight appeared out of the darkness, she asked my name and in a millisecond she handed me my pre-prepared room key. I was to be on the 6th floor but she assured me the elevators were working, presumably powered by their backup generator but I'm not sure. She offered to walk me to my room but I demurred, insisting I would find my own way. Right after that, the elevator door opened and off I went... down rather than up - where I met another employee who entered the cab at the lower lobby level. When exiting back at "1", this employee gave me her own light which was a great help. I finally popped upstairs and found my room from there. Then inside my room on the desk, with the lamp they gave me, I found a lovely note saying I was the guest of the day along with free waters, nuts, chocolate and gummies. The note said they hoped my stay would be memorable. Uhhhhhh yeah. They sure did check that box! The next morning in the lobby I found a sign with my name on it as 1 of 3 guests of the day. My selection was almost certainly random but in the moment it made my day. Or rather, my night. I was floored by how kind and thoughtful the staff were at this hotel during a very odd circumstance. I'm not sure exactly when the power had gone off but they clearly had sufficient notice to get everything so organized. The power ultimately came back on at 2:04 am, bringing with it all the lights in the room, which woke me up and roused me to turn everything off. Still, in the literal darkest hour this hotel team shined. The service was amazing. Well done, Courtyard By Marriott Culver City! And don't worry, future guests - I'm told what I went through isn't a regular thing. Let's hope!
