(TLDR: scroll to the bottom if you want to see my pricing breakdown) I scheduled an appointment (2/25/26) for my birthday after walking in two days prior to view the jewelry selection. All staff members throughout my time there (both days) were INCREDIBLY helpful and informative, as I had a lot of niche questions with getting my cartilage pierced and working as an EMT! I came in early (30 minutes) to my appointment to discuss questions and worked with Rennie (instagram: @rennieandsharp) and she was THE ABSOLUTE BEST EVER‼ Not only did she easily answer any questions I had about anatomy, healing, and future piercing options, but she also helped me pick out the perfect jewelry and did not rush me when seeing which options worked best for my lifestyle! I didn't feel pressure to choose jewelry she initially recommended even though I originally wanted something different, but I ended up going with what she recommended anyways because girl is an expert at her craft! Renee and another piercer even helped me evaluate my anatomy for a navel piercing after 3 larposcopies and while the answer was that "it wouldn't be advisable", I was not let down at all, because both Renee and this other employee made sure that it was with the intention of putting my health first, which can be hard because many piercing shops will do whatever piercing just for it to reject, having you in and out, this place genuinely cares about your health and the longevity of your piercings! Moreover, the thing that blew me away was that half way through my appointment I found out Rennie WAS AN APPRENTICE?! (Not a bad thing) I was genuinely so shocked to find out she hadn't been in the business for years because she was so helpful. I fully trusted her to do my piercings and she did an amazing job, I got my double conch done with smaller pieces of jewelry and even though she said my ear might swell, and it could be risky having them done so close, she trusted my judgement as well and gave me all the information I needed to make sure nothing bad happened!!! she did such a good job that they haven't swelled at all yet, even the same day, and it's been a week! The process was also completely painless for me, she was so patient and kind, making sure I was comfortable which made my experience worth everything and 100% easier! She also mapped my ears out for future piercings just for fun! While I am moving away from VB in may, I ultimately see myself road-tripping just to have Renee as my piercer, she truly has an amazing career ahead of her and the treatment at this location is unmatched. Not to mention the brand of jewelry that they carry is incredibly reputable and well known, ALL HAD FLATBACKS (hard to find at some piercing shops usually only a few pieces), doesn't feel cheap or tacky, and is incredible quality for the price! PRICE BREAKDOWN: You cannot beat the prices of I'm Just Saiyan, as it is a $25 service fee that includes pretty much any piercings you get at that appointment (with obvious exclusions of genitalia etc.) For two freckled flat back studs each was about $30 I believe, so not bad at all, making my total price $85 but I tipped 20% so it was about $100 total for both, super worth it and again, you can't beat the quality here, I would recommend this location over every other place in the 757! read more

I am an older woman who needed to revive a second ear piercing. I was very happy with the service I received and the experience. It didn't hurt which was awesome! The staff was very nice and professional. But they made you feel comfortable. Some reviews say that the jewelry is expensive. I was offered a variety of prices and for me, it was such a huge step above a mall piercing, which makes the extra money worth it. read more

We were hesitant about getting our daughter's ears pierced as she is only 3 months old, but honestly, we have no regrets! We decided to go with I'm just Saiyan bc one, support local. But also, they have efficient & sanitary equipment and location, thorough staff, and well priced items. When we got in the line (no appt), we were immediately helped and the lady even approached a piercer to get 2nd opinion and verify that our daughter had enough ear lobes to pierce on. They give military discount and we saved on service fee ($25 I think). Understandably, the price of our earrings were expensive bc we chose pearls but they charge by each earring, which was weird. Also, we paid for the sterile wash from their store and when we got home, I ended up trashing it bc it did not work and nothing came out. I paid over $300 for this experience - overall, it was fine and I am glad my daughter's ears are okay. It's been four days and she's not bothered by them so far. read more

the most professional and welcoming piercing place ive been to! all of the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. i got my helix piercing done by chantel and she was so amazing! walked me through everything and was so sweet. definitely recommend this place for your next piercing! by the way, my piercing price came out to be around $50. it was $25 for the piercing itself and another $25 or so for the jewelry which was one of the basic toppers. their prices ranged from $20 to upwards of hundreds of dollars for super good quality jewelry like 14k gold and diamonds. i will also be going back to switch out my topper. read more

I wanted to get my daughter's ears pierced for awhile but just was too nervous to actually do it. I finally made an appointment with Jordan. While we were parking, we noticed how many other babies and small children were also getting their ears pierced. I will say that it definitely made me feel more at ease that other parents also trusted this place. Once we walked in we were immediately greeted by Shantal, who helped us get checked in. Another really nice employee (didn't catch her name) helped me pick out the earrings and helped us get checked out. We were told that the earrings had to go through the sterilizer and would have to wait a few mins before getting her ears pierced. Once sterilized, Jordan directed us to go into his room. He was extremely personable and friendly. In fact, he even had a tv show playing (Bluey) that my daughter instantly loved and smiled once she saw it. I'm 100% sure I was more nervous than she was. Jordan was quick but also patient with my nerves and my baby who did cry a bit... but that is to be expected. Yes this place is a little bit pricier but I felt better having it done by a professional. This place was absolutely spotless and very clean. I will definitely be back for any piercing needs we have. I really want to pierce my nose, but felt a little anxious on who to go to. Everyone here made me feel so comfortable. The place is cool, and had drinks in a fridge while you waited. Jewelry is gonna cost you more than your piercing fee, but everything you get is good quality. Chantel was fast when doing the piercing and was so nice. And she also explained aftercare to me after she was done. Definitely will recommend this place to anyone looking for a new piercing. read more

We booked an appointment with Jordan for my four month old's first earrings. He was away for a funeral, but Chantal took care of us and she did a PHENOMENAL job. Absolutely loved our experience! My daughter really wanted her ears pierced and this shop was highly recommended on Chesapeake Moms. So glad we came here! It's welcoming, clean, had an amazing playlist in the lobby, and to my daughter's joy, free stickers. Chantal was so kind and professional and talked my daughter through every step of the piercing. She also took extra care to place the piercing for growing ears, something I never considered. The coolest body mod shop around! Just recently opened, Just Saiyan boasts experienced piercers in a safe, fun environment. Decorated wall to wall with anime and Manga decor, this shop caters to geeks, nerds, weebs, and winners. As far as recommendations go, Chantel is my favorite piercer because she is so easy to talk to and absolutely hilarious. Went here on a whim to get my nose pierced on a Thursday morning and was very pleased with the experience. The store is very clean, well kept, and different. You can tell a lot of thought and planning went into this location down to the Pokémon cards for business cards. Chantel helped us and she was wonderful! Took my daughter (8) to get her ears pierced and what an incredible experience! The owner was incredible at putting her at ease and it went so smoothly she was bragging to her siblings and friends on how easy and not scary it was. I went in last week to have my septum pierced. The owner of the shop was doing the piercings. He was very friendly along with the young man working at the desk out front. When I was getting my piercing the piercer only got it half way through and then had to push it again the rest of the way because it was pierced in the wrong place. He had pierced it too high up in the hard cartilage of my nose. The piercing hurt so bad then it got really infected and I had to go to another shop to have it taken out. In total it cost me over $80 to not even end up with the piercing. He needs more practice. Very disappointing. read more
