Located in a back-alley removed part of Hoofddorp, Im Aroy was amazing, with surprisingly great Thai food coming out of the kitchen, and a homey interior decor that provided familiarity in a foreign city.
For starters, we got the chicken satay skewers and the spring rolls. Both were good, although I preferred the chicken satay because the peanut sauce was incredible. The chicken was a bit overcooked, but the flavor more than helped out in that regard.
For the mains, we shared both the beef fried rice and the chicken pad thai. Be warned that are portions are absolutely gigantic, and we barely finished (this was around 6PM after we hadn't had anything to eat that day). All in all, I'd say the 2 apps and 2 entrees we got would be enough for a party of 3-4. read more
