I'm normally a fan of Illy Caffe so I decided to come here while at the airport. This Illy Caffe is located in Terminal A of Philadelphia International Airport. When I got there, I got in line, and then the line got moved by the staff and I basically had to get back in the back of the line. What a mess. Their staff was kind of grumpy and rough. I purchased a Gatorade ($4.99), Ham and Cheese Mini Croissant ($6.50), Chocolate Croissant ($4.99), and large Cold Brew ARIA ($5.99) which is their version of a nitro cold brew. There was also a big mess where one person handed me the wrong order, then the cashier came and harass me and grabbed it back. Ugh chill bro. Then when I got my ham and cheese croissant it was squished up like someone smashed the croissant. Awful. I felt like I ate it for survival but it wasn't that good. And the chocolate croissant was hard and barely any chocolate. I thought I would like the coffee, but I didn't like it at all. What a waste of money. The best thing I ordered here was the Gatorade.

Absolutely horrid. The staff here was incredibly rude and dismissive of customers as I waited in line to order. They would tell people to go to the back of the line, for simply asking questions about the menu. When it was my opportunity to order I asked for a hot water, I initially wanted a turkey bacon sandwich. When I discovered it wasn't an option, I opted for the hot water. I pulled out my phone ready to pay .40 or even 1.50. The man behind the counter rang up a LARGE hot tea. After I made sure it wasn't a mistake by saying I just wanted a small hot water, due to the lack of turkey options. He pointed to the register, no words or eye contact. Incredibly rude and unnecessary, especially towards a fellow airport employee. Pro tip: avoid this location at all cost. A few steps away is a Dunkin donuts/food court. They were kind, I was early for my flight so the long line wasn't an issue. I was also given the small hot water for free, I do what I always do and put 1.00 in the tip jar. I wasn't looking for free, 80% of the time it will be free. I'm in uniform they just don't mind, and I add a tip no less than 1.00 every time. I was looking for decent, middle of the road at best customer service. This was well below that.

Well, it's in an airport. If you have a little time to kill, you can get an almost decent cup of espresso here, and the decor is the best on this end of the airport. Service is as bad as at any other concessions stand at any international airport, but this one has some chairs and tables with almost enough room for your luggage.

This rave review applies to all their locations except the airport as we've never eaten there. It's a great concept beautifully executed: take a diner, improve the food with better ingredients and more variety, serve big portions at very reasonable prices and you've got the Sabrina's idea. In the past 25 years or so, I don't remember ever getting anything here that wasn't good and many items are just delicious. Breakfasts are wonderful with lots of options and the sandwiches and platters are amazing. Plus, there's something for everyone from kids to elders. Be prepared to take some of your order home. Service is quick and friendly. I hope you like tattoos. We held my 60th birthday party at the old Christian St location. That's how much we love this place. The Mel's Chicken sandwich? Nothing like it. And you can get potato, sweet potato, or POLENTA fries! Great coffee. The South Street location has a bar. Breakfast and lunch ONLY. VERY busy for weekend brunch. Expect to wait.

So took my Blackened Chicken Bowl to go to eat awkwardly on plane. ( Not fun when surrounded by people not eating on short 3 hr flight. They must have gotten lunch at other places that mastered the faster prep needed at airports especially.) The seasoning was strange with cinnamon overtones that have no business dominating in blackened spices. And overcooked. I have l9ved Sabrina's other l9cations but fear this is a loss as the same prep complaints are shown for a long time. They don't seem inclined to fix this Maybe empire has expanded too far, too fast?

I got an iced latte, the Jerusalem Bage withl Smoked Salmon Scallion Cream Cheese, Cucumbers, Pickled Red Onions it was incredible. It has…read morethe ease of a neighborhood café, yet the confidence, visual sophistication, and social energy of a much larger restaurant. We have eaten at the high tops, in the main dining room, and at the tables extending into The Harper lobby, and each area feels like part of the same unified experience. The colors and lighting inside are especially warm and inviting, giving the room a glow that feels cozy and uplifting, especially during a Philadelphia winter. Food remains at the center of the experience, and my order is always the Jerusalem bagel with egg and cheese. On the rare occasions when turkey bacon appears, I add it as a welcome delicacy and a little extra sustenance, though the bagel is already delicious on its own. The cinnamon sugar kubaneh, the chocolate chip cookie, and the Bloody Mary are excellent. K'Far has also expanded its selection of bowls and salads since we ate here most regularly, and they look consistent with the quality of everything else. These days, a full breakfast here does not always fit within our budget, but I still make a point of stopping in for OX Coffee, which is delicious and, happily, roasted in Philadelphia. The Yemenite latte is another distinctive pleasure, aromatic and satisfying without feeling like a novelty created merely for attention. The staff is consistently charming, welcoming, and composed, and the team's continuity and energy suggest that people genuinely enjoy working here. When our budget allows, I will absolutely return to eat. Perhaps the clearest expression of K'Far's brilliance arrives in one memory from a cold, radiantly sunny Saturday, when "Inspector Norse" by the Norwegian producer Todd Terje comes through the speakers as the restaurant buzzes around us. The track, the worldly crowd, and the aroma from the kitchen create the elusive feeling Steve Cook and Mike Solomonov understand so well: people go out to eat because they want to feel seen and be briefly transported into a more vivid version of life. I already love K'Far and The Hoxton as separate brands, so seeing them come together at The Hoxton in Williamsburg feels like an unusually natural and exciting partnership. Creating this kind of social magnetism inside a bakery and café is a subtle achievement, and Philadelphia is richer for having a place with this much flavor, warmth, and personality.

Visited a couple of times while I was living in Philly, from what I remember their banh mi were also pretty good. Pretty good place to study/work as well, they have two large table, a handful of small tables, and a bar section. On my recent visit in July 2026 it looks like they limit their wifi to 2 hours on the weekends and 4 hours on weekdays (sad to see since I don't remember this being a thing a couple years ago, but makes sense because they seem to be a lot busier now).

I thought I could enter the restaurant directly from a door outside of the compound. WRONG! To start I was in an SUV so I had to pay $3 to get in and park. Make sure you display the parking receipt because parking ticket are and will be issued. Make sure you park near building C so you can enter the building, make sure you walk on the 'pedestrian path'. If you do not use the dedicated path you run a major risk of being mowed down by the many moving forklifts. But once you find the restaurant it will be worth it once you place and have your order. My order was taken and delivered perfectly to go. You can eat in as well the place is very clean with many seats and a television. I ordered brioche french toast and creamed chipped beef. All of the food was packed to go in styrofoam containers which made me a little nervous. I drove home about 15 minutes away to be pleasantly surprised, my french toast was still warm, firm, the perfect width and thickness. The french toast was made with 'real' brioche bread and clearly had the taste of the egg batter with cinnamon and vanilla. They added blueberries and strawberries with ample syrup and butter. As for the chipped cream beef my mother was totally happy with it she said, it was cooked perfectly and it was enough for two people. This should make the produce workers very happy. My suggestion, if you are buying bulk produce or willing to pay $3 to park the food is good and a very fair price. You can also park on the street and walk the equivalent of 3 blocks. The total price for the order of 2 very large slices of french toast with berries and chipped cream beef with tax, $13.93. Will I go again although I have to pay $3 to park? Probably...
