My family and I were in Philly for a World Cup match and decided to stop in for a chai latte and a coffee. There was a short line, and when it was our turn, we were greeted by the sweetest employee. She was incredibly welcoming, patient, and took the time to explain the different coffee blends they offered. We ended up getting the Colombia blend, which my husband absolutely loved. Now, why do I regret coming here? Because this was, without a doubt, the BEST chai latte I have ever had in my life. It completely ruined every other chai latte for me. The bar has been set so high that every chai I've had since has been a disappointment. I can't wait to make it back to Philly!

Books on the shelves, board games, beautiful artwork on the walls, and an energy that quietly invites you to slow down. It's grounding without trying too hard, and incredibly rare to find. What truly made the experience unforgettable, though, were the people. Amelo and Dani welcomed me with a level of kindness and authenticity that instantly made me feel like a regular instead of a first-time visitor. They weren't just making drinks, they were creating an experience. Their passion for coffee and genuine care for every person who walks through the door shine through in every interaction. And the coffee? Outstanding. Every sip was incredibly smooth and thoughtfully crafted, with a rich chocolatey depth, subtle caramel sweetness, and just enough brightness to keep it beautifully balanced. It's the kind of cup that makes you pause after the first sip because you know you're drinking something special. You can taste the care that goes into it. This is some legitimately amazing coffee. Time & Peace isn't just somewhere to grab a coffee, it's somewhere to exhale. It's a reminder that community, conversation, art, and exceptional coffee can all exist in the same space. I was worried the coconut might overpower the matcha but it didn't. According to their website it looks like their matcha is from Junbi. Visited a couple of times while I was living in Philly, from what I remember their banh mi were also pretty good. Pretty good place to study/work as well, they have two large table, a handful of small tables, and a bar section. On my recent visit in July 2026 it looks like they limit their wifi to 2 hours on the weekends and 4 hours on weekdays (sad to see since I don't remember this being a thing a couple years ago, but makes sense because they seem to be a lot busier now).
