My 9 year old chose the $25 mystery bag, when we opened it, there was a pair of fake crocs ( no warning, cause how would someone use a random sized pair of fake crocs?), there was a felt Xmas tree craft set, bee venom face cream, a mug holder and a fire blanket. a fire blanket??? From when was this an item from their store? the face cream was not from any known brand so I wouldn't put it on a child's sensitive skin.. so you've been warned about their mystery bags. Also the bags are marked with the sku numbers of the items they have in the bags for them to ring up so the employees are very aware of what they are selling to a 9 year old who's shopping in a TOY STORE.

True Believers (Located inside Menlo Park Mall)…read more55 Parsonage Rd. Edison, NJ 08837 If you are a millennial and want to relive your past time, this vintage toy store is right up your alley. This location specializes in action figures, statues, retro home consoles, and other keepsakes. As I entered the store, it had the feel of a museum because many items are not available in retail stores. I was especially impressed with the detail of the action figures. The characteristics of each trait are handcrafted perfectly and I can guarantee you will instantly recognize each specific trait. There is a diverse variety of additional merchandise in True Believers. An entire wall is filled Funko Pop! vinyl figures. Although I don't collect any cards, there are many Pokémon trading cards available; they are surprisingly valuable. The video game systems will also keep you entertained. Engage in the Game Boy or neutralize the bad guys with the Nintendo Zapper; now you are playing with power! Although I currently am not in the market for any novelties, it was still a neat experience exploring this store. It is a must visit for true believer that is young at heart. #truebelievers #menloparkmall

This store is perfect for anyone who loves plushies - they have a whole wall of stuffed animals that are so soft, cute, and surprisingly reasonably priced. You can get a small one from $10 and big ones for $18! Lots of bunnies, cats, penguins, and then some other things like bubble tea plushies. You can also shop for pens and stationery here, and they also have mugs and cute cups. A fun assortment of things to browse! Headbands, keychains, nail polish, bags, mirrors, etc. Everything seems pretty reasonably priced. Quality is probably average to low, a lot of the little toys and stuff seem like dollar store quality but priced around $5 because they're adorable! Friendly customer service and everything seems organized and neat. Overall, a good place to pick up a gift or two or something for yourself.

I know that this is a busy location but in certain aisles you had to literally move things around and hunt for items that you didn't know that you needed because the shelves were mixed up. There were a lot of clothing merchandise that were messy on the shelf or in boxes instead of being neatly placed. It really felt like you were rummaging in a warehouse. This is a very large store and you have to be patient to shop here. Their prices are ok, not the cheapest but it really depends on what you are looking for and what a person considers low price. I don't think it's entirely true; however, I suppose some readers might agree that B&N has gone out of style over the years. For instance, in the Edison location B&N still features a huge area entirely devoted to DVDs and CDs - forms of media which increasingly become irrelevant to consumers with each passing year. The advent of technological development has overtaken the usefulness of paper books. Even the professors from my graduate school program studies (circa 2020-2022) elected to use digital textbooks for 85% of the curriculum coursework. Perhaps brick and mortar B&N stores ought to inject a new retail experience into their business model that involves the offline-to-online and online-to-offline offerings (i.e. digital kiosks in stores)
