Teri was extremely helpful to me two times this past summer. I didn't have an appointment either time but she was able to make time to resolve my hearing aid problems immediately. Her professionalism and expertise were just what I needed. I especially appreciated her welcoming friendliness and willingness to help fix my problems. Later I went online and discovered that my next door neighbor had already posted an excellent review on another website.

I was never really happy with them, or the provider, and my hearings aids were failing, so I decided to try Teri Quednau for my new pair. After an examination and hearing test, Teri asked what I didn't like about my old pair, what my lifestyle was like, and what features were important to me. She recommended a different brand from what I had and gave me a loaner pair to try out for a while. I was very happy with the loaner pair. They fit better, were way more comfortable, and sounded better than my old ones. She ordered my permanent pair and was even willing to make an adjustment to the fit after they arrived and I purchased them, just so they would be perfect. On top of this, Teri is a nice and pleasant person. I would definitely recommend Quednau Quality Hearing.

There were multiple issues with…read morethe Aids and settings but they finally were working satisfactorily until Emily left last year. Follow up visits with Jaclyn and then Tara and their PHD Assistant for speaker and feedback issues were frustrating. They were unable to resolve the feedback and failed to replace the speaker, saying it was fine and instead increasing the volume. When Jaclyn finally replaced the speaker she said "you're not going to like it" and she was correct because the volume setting was far too high. She then left and Tara chose to make me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable, saying that I had "unreasonable expections" because I wanted to hear a bird chirp and that they had done all they could unless I would use a customized hearing piece. I was ushered out of their office with feedback still loud enough to disturb my wife across a room. I then went to another audiologist in Ca. who gave me a hearing exam, sent my Aid in for repair, replaced the other speaker, then established new settings which provided the best hearing quality I've had since purchasing the Aids, and with simple domes which she and I prefer, all accomplished in 3 appointments over a week's time. It's a shame I had to go elsewhere to have the issues resolved when I had paid Carle $6300 and the Aids are still under warranty, along with multiple appointments which were unnecessary. I have to go back to Carle for warranty issues when I return to Ill. in April but I dread the experience. At least now I know the issues are not my fault and their attitude is unacceptable. I doubt they have the knowledge or ability to deal with the Resound product which is very sensitive and complex. Go elsewhere.

Having finished perusing today's mail, I was reminded that I need to/want to/am delighted to write…read morea review for Miracle Ear and, at the same time, honorably mention Audibel and DIShonorably mention Christie Clinic. Included in today's mail was a flyer from Audibel offering impressive, believable reviews. I was prompted to mention Audibel in this testimonial because of the mailer and, mostly, due to a recent conversation with a friend who has been a satisfied Audibel-wearer for many years. My mother purchased her first pair of hearing aids from Christie Clinic a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, she was unhappy with the product and the technician. Following are examples that support her dissatisfaction: 1. The price was higher than most sellers'. 2. She was never properly "trained" on how to use the hearing aids. 3. Her hearing was not improved enough to warrant spending the high price. 4. The technician did not listen to my mother. From the beginning, Mother told her that she was getting very little (if any) sound from the left aid. On my mother's final evaluation, the tech mentioned that her left hearing aid was weaker than the right one. Really? It's interesting that this discovery was made after the warranty expired. THE POST OFFICE AND MIRACLE EAR TO THE RESCUE! This time, it's my mother who received the advertisement (from Miracle Ear) in the mail. Due to her experience with Christie Clinic, she was hesitant to believe the ad. I offered to accompany her, so we could check it out. AARON HOBBS is Amazing, Bright, Caring, Determined, Efficient, Funny ... I could go through the whole alphabet. One of his most impressive characteristics is his ability to listen and then act. My mother explained what she expected from hearing aids and, after a hearing test, Aaron assured her that he felt Miracle Ear was the correct answer to improving her hearing. ... And he was right! THERE'S MORE: Our appointment with Aaron was pleasant and he was not pushy. In fact, it was obvious that, above all, his primary goal is to help people. When I asked Aaron if Mother would receive a discount for referrals, he made a generous offer ... Noticing that I had been using the following terms a lot lately: "huh?, what?, excuse me, say that again, I beg your pardon," I thought it might be time to have my hearing examined. EVERYBODY'S HAPPY! Aaron must be happy because he sold two sets of hearing aids, instead of one. We (Mom and I) are happy with our new hearing volume. Hopefully, people with hearing difficulties will read this and visit Aaron Hobbs at Miracle Ear and find happiness, too! ICING ON THE CAKE! When you walk in the door, there she sits-- Alisa! She is friendly, considerate, caring, knowledgeable, concerned, and ever so helpful.
