Turned out my brakes were fine so it was not the wear "squealers" making the noise. But since I was there I had the rear drums inspected, cleaned and adjusted which did make a noticeable difference in braking and my E-brake. Then after I left I realized the front noise was gone as well. Might have been some debris that fell out upon inspection, but whatever, it's gone which is a nice side benefit. Unfortunately I forgot the service managers name but he was friendly, courteous and explained everything well. I am a former fleet mechanic so I know if I'm getting snowed. But I'm retired, sold my tools and live in a condo complex now so can't do my own repairs. Definitely will use Romo's in the future.

Martinez's Garage was also closing soon. When I spoke to Jeff he told me not to worry and that he would wait for us. A man of his word he called me almost 2 hours later to check up on us and we arrived a couple minutes after. Upon meeting Jeff, he very thoroughly inspected our vehicle and assured us that he would be honest, fair, and would help us as much as possible. He also said he would fix our car first since he knew we were from out of town and needed to get home. The next day, he found that our electric power steering gear box was gone. He had to get a programmer, an alignment specialist, and then his own shop to remedy the situation. Jeff did an amazing job of keeping me updated and not making us feel like we had to give him our business. He was EXTREMELY honest. He cares about his customers and truly deserves all the success. I really wish we were closer to him. When I left his shop, he called me to make sure I was okay. The truck has been driving excellently without issue and the repair was successful. The price was very reasonable too. Given our situation, he could have taken advantage of us but he was only honest. Thank you so much for taking care of us when we most needed it!
