Amazing service, great food and appetizers. Heather our server was so friendly! She even went above and beyond for my husband's birthday and at the end of the meal brought out a little birthday cake and ice cream. It was a lovely evening. We will definitely be back.

Penne ala Vodka with shrimp - Penne pasta with shrimp, spinach, peas, and mushrooms, topped with cheese, served on a white plate.

Had wanted to go since Il Mito Cafe opened but it never worked out. Anyways we made it here for a midweek dinner. We were struck by the pleasant decor, a bit rustic looking but nice. The garage doors add to the ambience and we dined indoors near an open area on a nice summer evening. Only thing I'd say on the layout is that I'm not sure why they have so many high top tables in the dining room, regular height tables would be more appropriate and comfortable. We had the Caprese as a starter and it was very tasty. Drizzled with balsamic glaze and some pesto. Nice sized beefsteak tomato slices and a nice chunk of Burrata. Very nice. If the burrata was slightly larger that would be great but it was very nice as is. Had the penne ala vodka with shrimp as the main. Very nice as well. A slightly different take on this dish with spinach, mushrooms and peas. Sauce was also a little lighter than some. Very tasty dish. Service was good with a friendly young waiter. Would definitely return.

Carpaccio - Thinly sliced carpaccio is arranged on a white plate, topped with fresh greens and drizzled with a creamy sauce, served on a gray table.

We sat outside on a nice sunny day. Ordered small plates and salads, and to our surprise we enjoyed Fresh ingredients, tasty food. A nice addition are friendly and knowledgeable waiters who were happy to explain the Italian menu and special orders were created just for us. We will definitely be returning to try the yummy goodness. Pictures include the Carpaccio, Calzone Napolitano, Arancini Sicilliani, Crimini Arrostiti, and Insalata Cesare salad.

Bruschetta comes with 3 but you can an additional for an extra charge - Three pieces of bruschetta with diced tomatoes, herbs, and grated cheese are served on a white oval plate at a restaurant.

We started with the Arugula Radicchio Salad (perfectly dressed!) and a cup of Potato Leek Soup, then shared the Duck Leg Confit (it was the best duck we've had in awhile, and braised cabbage! those duck fat roast potatoes!) and the Beef Filet with potato gratin (yum!!), watercress and red wine jus. Every dish had a nice wood-fired flavor. Excellent quality across the board, and the prices felt very reasonable for what you're getting. Our server was excellent - attentive, knowledgeable, friendly without hovering. The support staff kept our waters filled and dishes cleared seamlessly. We appreciated the NA beer, wine, and cocktail options. I had a modified French 75 and loved it - it's nice to have thoughtful non-alcoholic choices. Someday I'd love to grab seats at the counter in front of the kitchen to watch the action. We will be back!

It was my birthday, and our friends wanted to take us to one of their favorite restaurants. This is a place they've been to several times and were excited to show off. They're especially known for their artisan pizzas. Food: Since pizza is their specialty, and two people in our group get very excited about a good slice, they ordered a Cheese, Sausage & Onion pizza and a Margherita pizza. The nightly special was Lamb Chop, which is one of my favorites, so I went with that. The last person ordered the Salmon. Overall, the food was very good. The lamb chop was nicely presented, cooked to the right temperature, and pesto-encrusted, which was a delicious combination. While it was good, it could have been a bit more flavorful. The salmon was enjoyed, though it leaned slightly dry. Both pizzas came out piping hot, generously topped, and very flavorful. There was plenty to share around the table. We had a little room left for dessert and ordered the Chocolate Nemesis. It was a good size and just enough to satisfy everyone's sweet tooth. They even added a candle to help celebrate my birthday, which was a nice touch. Service: Our server did a very good job throughout the evening. We were quickly settled in with drinks and menus, and the pacing of the meal was relaxed and well managed. We never felt like we were waiting on service. When they learned it was a birthday celebration, they went out of their way to present the dessert with a lit candle. It's a small gesture, but it really shows attention to detail. Atmosphere: The restaurant felt much larger inside than expected. We were seated in a separate room that we had entirely to ourselves. Each of us had an upholstered chair, which initially felt special, though it took some adjustment not to lean back too comfortably at the table. When we arrived, the room was quite chilly and drafty. We asked if the thermostat could be adjusted, which helped, though it remained a bit drafty. Overall, it was a very good experience and a place we would return to. Next time, I'd probably opt for one of the pizzas and request a table in the main dining room.

The bar is small so we had to stand off in the back corner which was kind of annoying. When they sat us, our server Emmy(sp?) immediately came over and refilled our cocktails. She explained the menu in good detail which was nice. It wasn't too loud in the restaurant which was good so my husband and I could have a good conversation at dinner. The restaurant has Christmas decorations everywhere it was cute ! I ordered the 8 oz filet and it was perfection. Charred on the outside and soft on the inside with bone marrow butter on top. I ordered a twice baked potato which was delish. My steak came with a side salad which was your normal side salad. They brought complimentary bread. My husband ordered a 24 oz porterhouse steak - he said it was made to perfection. He also got a twice baked potato. He got the beer cheese popcorn soup and said he wouldn't have ordered that again. The ambiance was great for a nice romantic dinner. They brought us out a complimentary brownie and ice cream for our anniversary. Total bill for our 2 dinners with 2 drinks each was $175. Mind you I had $11 cocktails. The prickly pear margarita was so amazing I had to have 2! My only complaint is front bar area was crammed and nowhere to move or stand really, but there's nothing much that can be done about that.

We were seated promptly and the place was almost full for Saturday dinner. After a short wait, they brought us table waters and left a large bottle of water for refills. I was a little disappointed that they didn't get us started with chips and salsa as is typical for most Mexican restaurants. They have a nice liquor selection and an expanded page of a variety of Tequilas and specialty margaritas. The menu is limited to only one page but focuses on a nice variety of appetizers, Tacos and meals. For starters, we ordered the Chips and pico de gallo. The pico was very fresh and tasty and came with a generous portion of tortilla chips. For dinner, we ordered 3 tacos each - Manolos Bam Bam chicken tacos, Milwalke taco, Shrimp cilantro tacos, and the Quasi birria taco. When they arrived they seemed pretty small but our eyes were bigger than our stomach. Each soft corn tortilla taco was loaded with the selected meat and accompanied toppings. Each one was very delicious with generous amounts of chicken, shrimp, and steak with just the right amount of spice. After 3 of them I was stuffed! For dessert, we tried the stuffed Churros which were lightly coated with cinnamon and came with 2 dipping sauces of chocolate and creamy donut glaze. So good! Found out tables were only available via reservation which I thought was a bit odd for a Mexican restaurant but we were offered a seat at the bar so we jumped on that. Inside the decor was festive with a number of Frida pictures and great wallpaper in the restroom. We ordered guacamole and tacos. The guacamole came out quickly and was tasty, with a slightly sweet twist due to the pomegranate seeds and chips just as I like them. I ordered the milwalke and manolos bam bam tacos. I preferred the bam bam because it was filled a bit more but I didn't love the mayo based sauce on either. I would've preferred that on the side or, even better, an offering of salsa instead. I would've loved to review their salsa but only heard about it as I was finished up and it was offered to the couple sitting next to us at the bar. I was excited to try here but there were a few misses during our visit so we'll head to other local restaurants when we're in the area for a more satisfying meal next time.
