This place is located in the corner of the market, it's probably one of the few, if not the only, fried food counters throughout the market.
They've got a wide variety of fried foods here that you wouldn't find in the States such as rabbit and tripe.
But there's nothing like going the safe route and getting fried onion rings.
The service here is pretty amazing, they are very friendly to non-Italian speaking tourists such as us and took their time to explain how everything works and which item is which. They even gave us some recommendations when we went for the cone with different options.
Unlike American fried foods, these things weren't dripping with grease and the insides weren't soggy. Everything tasted surprisingly clean (which I think is difficult with fried food) and frying eh ingredients only seemed to have enhanced the taste of it.
This is definitely a place to grab 1 or 2 fried food options when you're in the area. I definitely recommend this place! read more
