Okay so this review is for the restaurant and not the store or the cafe. If you want to know more about the store offerings or quality of furniture I highly recommend looking at their website or catalog. The restaurant is situated half way through the store, which makes it somewhat hard to get to unless you use the cut-through doors. Obviously they want you to shop, stop half-way, eat, and keep shopping. The options are great and the prices are even better. I think they're probably selling at a loss- especially for breakfast. This time I had the Swedish meatballs and my friend had the salmon balls. The salmon was really fishy- which I liked. The green beans were the stringy kind and the gravy (meatballs) and salsa-thing (salmon) were good complements to the dishes. A bummer is the salmon doesn't come with lingonberry but they've both got mashed potatoes. I also had a very delicious Swedish dessert- I'd tell you what it's called but I forgot the Swedish! I got a picture though- it isn't the prettiest presentation but it was delicious. Overall for the prices, quantity, and quality I'm giving it four stars. Expect a solid healthier cheap meal with enough choices to make everyone happy. Lunch and dinner are good but breakfast is where it's really at. Also free WiFi :) read more

Great and very friendly staff, unfortunately a lot of out of stock items that have won't be reordered for sometime. They have a cafe that has really good food for the price. Just recently they came out with a veggie dog that's only 0.75, amazing taste and wow what a deal! read more

You never want to judge a place on their worst day... but after waiting an hour to process a return, I'm going to go ahead and do it because an hour later I'm frustrated. There are 4 return window, only 2 are staffed. I've heard they had someone call in this morning and because it was right after opening they must not have had an opportunity to get another person in to help. A store this size I would hope a manager could reassign personnel to get the line going around the corner and in front of the door to manage the line. When I left the line was still around the corner. The desk worker was nice but couldn't help. The manager had no desire to help. I guess because I didn't want to come return during the pandemic I can't return it, even for store credit. I guess I'm done shopping at IKEA. It's a good reminder to shop local where business owners are available to make decisions. read more

I was debating getting a new work desk for my home "office". Saw a nice desk online but needed to see it in person to make sure the dimensions would work. The desk ended up not being in stock but they had a sample on the floor I could see and if I decide to change desks I would come back and buy it. You never know what you'll find and I ended up buying a shower curtain and something else. I would say even if you came for one thing, grab the cart because you just never know what you'll come across. read more

I love IKEA. I *want* to shop there. But there are no motorized shopping carts for the disabled. Contacted them online asking for a floor plan so I could more easily plan which entrance to use closest to my area of interest. They do not have a floor plan. I realize I might be able to shop online for my items but I wanted to see them, first. IKEA makes their store inaccessible to me, and it's not what I hoped for. read more

Sometimes I will go to IKEA just because I know I can get some IKEA food as a reward for overstimulating my brain with interior design inspiration. They now have a soft ice cup which tastes JUST like an italian ice and they've added a pretzel braid to the menu. Not a fan of the spicy mustard, but for $1.50 who can really complain!? (@IKEA--can you add some nacho cheese to the menu?) I have no idea how everything is so cheap and delicious, but if I lived any closer to Fishers I would honestly probably go here just for a veggie hot dog for lunch. It is also fun how you can see IKEA products in the restaurant. Talk about inception. read more

**Covid Times** * Masks are required. Just deal with it and wear it. * Their inventory is somewhat limited and the shelves are bare. Good luck trying to track down certain items due to supply issues * The restaurant is currently closed. *Their Bistro is open for take away While many people seem to love Ikea, this place is a huge no for me. The amount of anxiety it induced and time I spent to go through the store was ridiculous. I get it, they wind you through the space trying to get the maximum amount of money from you by showing you all of the goods hoping that you make an impulse buy, but damn, once I have my item I just want to leave. While they have "short-cuts", they weren't short enough. read more

So this is our home away from home! My husband and I really love and enjoy going here to look around and get lost while shopping. We absolutely love that are seven-year-old can go in the play area for an hour while we have mom and dad time while shopping. The store is huge and the customer service is excellent! They have a restaurant inside the store, and also an area for nursing moms and families to go in. I've always heard of the store in the past, but once they built the location in Indy I was all about it! We finally tried there meatballs as they say it is the best! We thought they were OK, but they definitely tied us over until dinner. This really is just a cute family friendly store and everyone leaves out happy. Kind of weird experience here. Cafeteria is closed and there was little to no staff to be seen. We went during the week but it wasn't the Ikea experience I am used. A lot of areas were under construction and only the self checkouts were open. I know they can do better. read more

Mostly just reviewing the cafeteria here. I finally got the meatballs after hearing about them for years and years and years... Its pretty much hospital food but with a little more flair. The price is right. Nothing I'd go out of my way for. The store itself is full of contemporary furniture and decor which is probably a great match for an urban apartment - not so much for a suburban house. They specialize in maximizing space efficiency - kinda the opposite of Restoration Hardware that sells furniture for Paul Bunyan's house. read more

IKEA is one of those places that I have a love hate relationship with. The building's set up is a huge anxiety producer for me in the sense that it is so big and you can get lost easily in all of the chaos. There is nearly always so many people there that you have to wait for a while to be helped or you are waiting behind rows of people trying to walk through the sections of home goods/decor. On the flip side, they have the most up to date and current trends available at much more affordable prices than other places with similar items. You can get anything from food and drinks, to pet supplies, and kitchen to bedroom. Some of the assembly takes a while and would be best to have more than one person to put it together if possible. In terms of COVID, there are some sanitation stations, but not nearly enough, I saw many people taking off their masks inside, and staff is not wearing gloves, and social distancing is definitely not enforced. Good was okay, but not the best quality considering the meatballs were lukewarm, and the potatoes were bland. read more

It's too much fun, you guys. I can't help it, I'm loving this big box store and I have to say it's more for the Scandinavian vibes and eats than it is the furniture- not that the furniture and designs aren't great as well. My recent visit to Finland has me geeking out over the little touches like the simplistic Christmas decor and lingonberry everything. I even picked up a box of their frozen veggie potato pancakes to eat at home after my latest visit. A few other nuggets that leave me loving IKEA: -none of their toys in the Children's section require batteries- very educational focused -the rig selection is top notch- specifically the Turkish rugs made by Turkish women using old pieces of rugs from turkey -the cafeteria is very reasonably priced and offers several healthy and vegetarian options -the fresh plant section was surprisingly impressive and rumor has it its one of their top selling categories in the store -programming throughout the month like a Swedish inspired Christmas dinner for $16 (super affordable and festive rolled into one) read more

I made it back to IKEA as they seem to be the only place to sell wall shelving that you can attach to your wall. Unfortunately, they were out of white colored shelve pieces so I will have to return. No trip to IKEA is complete without a trip to the cafeteria. The food again was quite good for the cafeteria concept. I got the salmon and remembered this is the European sized meal aka on the small side so I added a side of meatballs and a side salad. That worked well as I was full after eating the meal. The salmon was good as usual with a hollandaise sauce optional on top. The meatballs were good too and the gravy helped moisten them. They were not greasy at all. The vegetable item was certainly unique and was a lot better than I anticipated. They do have nice array of unique beverages as well be Coke Pepsi options. It is like your eating in the Netherlands. I spotted some chocolate bars after dinner and cookies and thought those would make a good dessert when I got home. Indeed the chocolate bar and cookies were excellent. read more

Horrible horrible horrible customer service. Went to this store a few times but won't be returning now. Recently purchased a house plant for my bday there. Right after bringing it home it instantly dies. No one in the return/exchange area, not thru customer service number care or are willing to exchange a $8 plant. Never had such stubborn people to deal with. Everyone kept blaming me saying it was my fault. Never had plant issues before with anything I've gotten from Lowe's or other big dept stores. No longer an ikea fan, they have bad plant products and worse customer service. Go elsewhere bc once it dies instantly everyone is rude. Too bad bc the cafeteria and some other products are nice but hard to go back to a company that has the most inflexible policies , guess that's how they continue making billions. Very dissatisfied with how they are company centric instead of caring about their customers. Wow read more

IKEA comes to the Circle City. This is a 1-story IKEA and is a little smaller (with room to expand into the future) than some of the other stores I've visited. The 1-story setup forces you to walk through pretty much the entire store (to sell you more stuff) although there are a few shortcuts you can take to get to where you need to go. It's easy to get lost in here if you don't stay on the normal path (indicated by the footprint decals on the floor). Otherwise, the products are exactly the same as you'll find in their catalog. The best thing you can do is sign up for an IKEA Family card. You get free beverages (coffee, cappuccino, espresso, tea, milk, soft drinks) with your card. read more

Stopped at IKEA today since I was having lunch in the area. I am probably one of the few people that just doesn't get the fascination with IKEA. I get the large variety of items but so much now is made in China as well so I'd just as soon go to Target or Amazon. I do like that they are doing entire rooms so that you can get ideas. Though I'd still probably buy elsewhere. If you want Scandinavian goodies like chocolates and cookies it might be worth it. Dealing with crowds for a Swedish meatball not so much. read more

This IKEA is one level. I guess that's the thing that shocked me the most, because I've never been to an IKEA that wasn't at least two levels. I was prepared to be aggravated. (Like, really? You're going to build a brand new IKEA in the Indianapolis area and it's not going to have two levels? I need my fancy escalator for shopping carts.) But after visiting this single-story IKEA, I think I can live with it. Who am I kidding: I love it! IKEA is one of my favorite places to be, and I'm so glad there is an IKEA within a sane driving distance. One of the interesting features about this IKEA in Fishers is that the "bistro" (restaurant) is in the middle of the store. So as you meander through the layout of the store, taking in the artistic and inspirational room displays, you encounter the familiar smell of Swedish meatballs and lingonberry sauce. It's actually kind of nice to find the restaurant in the middle of the store, because by the time you see it, you're getting hungry and fatigued (or, at least, I am). Did you know: If you sign up for IKEA Family, you get free coffee and discounts on food?! See why I love IKEA so much? Speaking of food: There is a separate little cafe just left of the entrance that sells hot dogs, cinnamon rolls and soft-serve vanilla frozen yogurt. All of these things are $1 (or $.50 if you're an IKEA Family member). My favorite area when visiting with kids is the kid bedroom area, because they let kids climb on the beds (respectfully), sit at the desks, play with the toys and hug stuffed animals. They're so friendly to families here. read more

I cant complain about the actual furniture and products that IKEA sells, they are great for the price and i love the styles. Most of my apartment is all from IKEA, this one to be specific. But what i cannot take are the people that come into this store. I don't know if it is the fact that its a giant space or just Fishers but everyone and i mean everyone completely looses all sense of curtesy and manners when entering this store. Every time i come in here i about lose it due to the rude behaviors from grown adults. My only other experience that was very disturbing was after shopping for an hour putting all the things i needed to complete my trip in my cart i parked my card so i could run to the rest room really quick. When I came back (4 minutes later) a staff member had taken my cart and started putting the items back on the shelf. After 15 minutes we found the staff member and my cart with about half of what i had in it. I had to go back through the store again. That was upsetting. The restaurant is nice, usually has 1 vegan or vegitarian option. Parking can also be a nightmare. People will pull up to the loading docks and stay there for an hour waiting for their help inside who is also waiting. I don't understand this, so the dock will fill up with half of the people sitting in the car waiting or waiting inside for their stuff. Instead of bringing their stuff outside and pulling their vehicle up to the dock after. I just have to be prepared to come here mentally before i enter. read more

I opted to avoid the morning grand-opening crowd and visited IKEA around 7:30 on opening day. Crowds had died down by then, and it was an enjoyable shopping experience, comparable to any other IKEA on a weekend day. I hadn't been in an IKEA in a couple of years, so it was fun to shop around and see what new things they had since I'd last visited. I ended up buying a few kitchen items, but the close proximity of this new location kept me from impulse buying a whole bunch of stuff that I really don't need -- I can always come back whenever I want to get more stuff! I feel a little bad for people who live really close by because I'm sure traffic during peak hours will be a nightmare, but I love that there is an IKEA in Fishers now. With all of the new entertainment complexes, shopping and restaurants coming to Fishers and Carmel, it's a great time to live & work north of Indy! read more

Beware, IKEA does not honor warranties and they make false promises. Bought a $600 couch in 2015, was told 10 year warranty. I called the 888 customer service number, was promised replacement parts in 5-7 business days. Called 4 weeks later, was told request denied because no receipt. I produced receipt, and was then told request denied because the issue is not covered by warranty. $40 worth of parts. 2 hours of my time. People were joyful and friendly during the grand opening. Spent almost 5 happy hours exploring and hanging out with friends. More likely to return after crowds dwindle down before making a serious purchase. Tip: even if you don't plan on buying anything, grab a shopping bag anyways because you're going to buy something. Snacks at the store front, cafeteria in the middle of the store. The food was very good for the price point. I didn't know there's a separate menu for breakfast and dinner as well so I'll have to come back! I'd get the gravy and ligonberry sauce on the meatballs instead of Thai coconut curry if given the choice. The daim cake was my favorite of the desserts. Tasted like a chocolate candy bar and lo and behold, there's a Daim chocolate bar near the checkout... which was very far to get to lol. Everything was on one floor but shortcuts were available in some sections. There a play place for the kiddos where i think you can pick them up when you're done shopping (i mean you should take them back). During the grand opening the kiddos got their face painted and balloon art. Very impressed how organized and smoothly the grand opening went. Felt fun and relaxed. Police helped direct traffic and shuttles were available because we had to park 0.8 miles away due to how many people showed up and we came at 11am! DJ at the checkout line made waiting less annoying and actually fun cuz we were dancing haha. There was also a live band at the dining area too. Free ikea shopping bags were given to ppl who came out to the grand opening. Happy you're here Ikea! read more

I'm afraid that IKEA in Noblesville has fallen by the waste side. STAFFING ISSUE. Restaurant is closed and they have brought themselves down to the self check out. (Bistro) in the front that is nothing much more that hotdogs and pizza. We used to go to IKEA for the restaurant because it was a stoping point in the center of the store to relax. What this has come to is sad. Prices are double the price of competitors and in front marked cheaper as you go through store more expensive. You can clearly see the door closing eventually. read more

Ikea sells everything you need, things you didn't even know you needed, and shows you how to arrange it all in your house in their showrooms. The best part about a trip to Ikea is knowing we will be getting to eat there. They have meatballs, salmon balls, and even veggie balls. I like to get the chicken fingers and this last time I got the braised pork shoulder and it was really good. I love how they have different specials. The best part is all the desserts. The daim cake, Chocolate Almond Cake, the chocolate oat balls are pretty delicious and I like to wash it all down with Nordic Fruit Water, ligonberry flavor is my favorite. This store is an experience! It's fun to just walk around the store. The layout is unique, where you walk through showrooms through a mazelike path. I will say that it's a little confusing, and I still haven't figured out the shortcuts. I think the prices are fair. You can find really cheap or really pricy stuff. I just bought the karlstad sofa, which is currently $50 off if you are an Ikea family member (sign up with your email address, and it's free!) I managed to fit all the boxes in my hatchback, which was a major plus!! A worker there even let me borrow a tape measure to make sure my car was big enough. The food court area is nice too. I was so happy when Indiana was going to be a home to IKEA, and fantastic that it's a short distance away from me in Fishers. I always loved browsing through IKEA's catalog so even better to see offerings and set ups in person. I'm fascinated with home shopping and IKEA can explore creativities and entice inspirations with the unique items contained within this store. I love how I can get lost in wander being inside here. The store is set up like a maze. Though I have wanted to come here and just go through the maze, I haven't yet. Thus far, I've been going to really shop, looking to buy something. There's so much to fixate your eyes on in this place that it can be overwhelming, especially if time is of an essence. I appreciate going when I have ample time to look at everything and anything I want. The store acquires a lot of walking ground, so be up for some exercise. They have a quick food spot by the check out registers and a restaurant that's in the middle of the store. IKEA prices are favorable and the quality of products are good, but not expecting to last forever. Photo ops are exhilarating at this spot, so even if not looking for anything, window shopping is never dull here. Let your imagination soar. read more

Don't know if it's a racial thing but the older Caucasian lady with short white hair and glasses at the registers have always been rude to us no matter what. She threw our merchandise one time for no reason and had an angry look upon her face. I said hello to her but didn't receive a response so shrugged it off. Last week we had to buy these big bins and she was at the self checkout but stood in front of us watching our every move.
