A friend and I stopped in looking for a specific piece of furniture for her daughter's new home. While we didn't find what she was looking for, we did see many other pieces of furniture, decor, and unique items. We were greeted immediately upon entering the store by Sam. The prices on sectionals were outstanding. While I don't currently have room for a sectional (small living room) if I did, I would have purchased one today. The selection of pictures and decor is outstanding. Unique items include repurposed, decorated fire extinguishers, "Real Housewives of Carmel" and "Real Housewives of Noblesville" decor. I loved the wall art. There were pictures of all sizes, even very, very large pieces that I know are hard to find. Prices were very reasonable, and there was definitely something to fit every budget. Had a great experience shopping at Urban Underpriced. My daughter hung in with me visiting 5 - yes FIVE - furniture stores in one afternoon, and we ended up back at Urban Underpriced, which was the 2nd store we had visited. Bought a kitchen table and 4 chairs + a bench, AND a queen bed for my daughter's room (headboard and frame only, no mattress) and it was about $2,600 including delivery. Customer Service from the GM Michael was the worst I have ever had. After we paid he could care less about our order or when it arrived. He gave multiple false updates and was extremely rude whenever it was brought up. Overall I would give this review negative stars if I could. My wife and I were looking for a new dining table and chair set, so we stopped by to see what they had. We were greeted by one of the salespeople who let us know to come see her if we had any questions. We browsed for a bit, but didn't really see anything on the floor like we wanted. Too bad I hadn't read Dylan's review that mentions they have an online catalog available. Also too bad for the salesperson that she didn't mention it either. They did have some nice pieces, but nothing jumped out as being a piece we wanted for our home. I guess we will continue looking. I agree with the sign on their door that says "where wayfair meets pinterest" - this store is super cute! I like the way it's decorated and they definitely utilize their space well. The sales associates were all very friendly and do not hover / bug you every 3 seconds to see if you want to buy something you barely looked at. We ended up getting our mattress and bedframe here. Delivery was within expected timeframe and delivery options were way more flexible than other experiences we have seen. We love our new bed and enjoyed the positive customer experience. The store definitely has some country feel to it but really any theme could find things they like here. Also cool that they have some snacks near the check out incase you get hungry after spending too much time there. This was our first time here and I was surprised with the large, eclectic selection of furniture and home decor. They have a great selection of furniture for most homes from current trends through traditional. Every inch of the store has furniture, home accessories and accent pieces to compliment each room from ceiling to floor. We were immediately greeted as we entered the store. The saleswoman was friendly and asked if we were looking for anything in particular. We weren't at the time but I love browsing furniture and home decor stores. I love getting decorating ideas and adding a few pieces to update my own space. Unfortunately when I did have a couple questions the salesteam was busy with others. I could have waited longer but they weren't life or death questions requiring answers that very minute. If I were purchasing I would have made a point to wait. Prices varied from average prices to overpriced. There was a nice sale going on when we were there. I'm going to be in the market for new sofas soon so I'm going to begin following their sales. Refinisher came back out last week to replace wooden trim around couch base. Once again, they called the day before to remind; he was early in the appt window, very clean (used shoe covers) and efficient. He took off the trim and noticed more damage. Said it was a good thing we were getting it fixed. He offered to leave old one for me to store, in case something dramatic happened to the new, pristine trim piece. He was in and out in ~20 min. When I hear a business called Urban Underpriced, I'm thinking of a urban themed hobby lobby. I was pretty wrong. Perhaps to those used to spending more on home furnishings, this is a discounted place, but not to an average blue collar American. It was more like overpriced, to me. But, given the area that this business is located, they can probably go for a higher spending crowd. The stuff they sell are nice, and it's unique, but I've seen better elsewhere as well. There are salesman here, much like a furniture store. Who greet you when you come in, they didn't bother me though. They were nice and friendly, but I'm sure it's a commissioned based store for these employees. My girlfriend and I recently purchased a house near Irvington. We spent a few days trying to find the perfect couch set for our first home, we went to everywhere you'd typically go to no luck. After days of searching and a some frustration we thought maybe our old couches would have to work that is until we walked into Urban Underpriced. Originally we fell in love with a sectional that we caught on a KILLER deal. We immediately closed the deal on the sectional with the excellent help from Julie. I highly recommend working with her and i'd go to her again for any other of our furniture needs. Unfortunately we did not measure correct and sectional wasn't going to fit.. We immediately went back to Julie and she not only gave us multiple options of sectionals and couch sets within our measuments she was so helpful and pleasant to work with. We ended up finding ANOTHER killer deal on a couch and love seat and were so happy with what we found. Due to covid everything was slightly back ordered and we knew it would be a while before we got the couches... Julie quoted us 8-10 weeks for the couches... We were stunned when she called in 5 weeks!! The couches arrived at 7:30AM on 4/3 and were assembled by the awesome delivery staff urban underpriced has. They deserve kudos for their fast and efficient work. We couldn't be more pleased with how smooth this process went and can't wait to shop their store for our future furniture needs. read more

This store is a rip off. I came in because everything appeared to be super cute in the store. It reminded me of Wayfair, but in person. I walked in and everything was on sale. I was excited. I was in the market for a wall mirror and saw this place while in the area, so I stopped in. While there are some very attractive pieces in this store, I would not agree that anything is underpriced! The prices are more than I am used to paying most places. The most disappointing thing about this place, though, is that I did no less than 3 laps around this store (there is a LOT to see!), and not a single salesperson said a word to me... or even made eye contact with me. Though they did not have what I had come in for, but because there was so much cool stuff, I may have actually made a different purchase if I thought they cared about my business. Their loss. My sister had ordered a bedroom suite and they told her it would take up to 10 weeks to get it. They were very nice and when she went to get her money back (her fault) was on receipt could take that long to get it and she didn't want to wait. I bought a living room set about a month ago. Spent $1800 on a "Amazing" love seat and couch. The love seat is broken after 5 weeks. The entire inside once I reached into the rip is pressed wood and only stapled. The outside is beautiful. Went to check my receipt to see if there was a stipulation of defective furniture. But ofc all sales are final. Just be warned you might save a few bucks but they do not back their products and like me you might be paying twice because you went with them. read more

BUYER SHOP ELSEWHERE! Purchased chair with Julie first week of April and was told probably mid-May because of Covid complications. Credit card IMMEDIATELY processed. Then crickets. Made a personal trip to store and was told by two laughing salesmen this vendor ships to them twice a week, no way would it be that quick. I asked to have Julie call, which she did and said looking like June 17th. She promised to keep an eye on my order and follow up. Again, crickets. June 23rd I spoke with Scott, who was short, rude, and could not be bothered. We are now looking at July. I understand Covid delay, but I DO NOT understand deficient customer service. Be empathetic, keep communication lines open, under promise, and over deliver. That should be the cornerstone of a business. Julie went above and beyond to help us select the perfect couches that fit just what we were looking for to fill the basement. The couches were delivered in 3 weeks and the delivery people were efficient and friendly. Avoid this place if at all possible. I went there for a new mattress since I moved here July 31st without one. They said it would take one or two weeks for delivery. I slept on my floor until I finally called them back on August 18th and asked what happened to my missing mattress. They said that they had called me on August 12th stating that my mattress was in and ready to be delivered. I NEVER got a call! Even if that was true, why didn't they called every day until they got in touch with me - especially knowing that I was sleeping on my floor. PLUS, they charged me $99 for delivery and charged me sales tax on that too. I went to Furniture Discounters on Lafayette instead - MUCH better place!!! They only charged me $79 for delivery and they DID NOT charge me sales tax on delivery. Urban Underpriced is dishonest, lazy and uncaring. AVOID IT!!! read more

I had seen some of the not so positive reviews but decided to purchase from Urban a free standing bar and bar stools. Our sales person, Robert, stated it would be 2-3 weeks. It was exactly 2 weeks and the delivery guys were awesome too! Then decided to go back and purchase a dining room table and chairs. Again in 2 weeks they arrived. Went back a third time and bought a buffet to go with my new dining room table and had it within 2 weeks! I had found a coffee table and end tables at another store but went to Urban to see what they had. They had exactly what I was going to buy from the other store but the price was cheaper. So I bought them 10 days ago and got a call today that they are in! I would go back and buy more but my husband has cut me off from buying anymore furniture for now!
