They are not pushy and know that the quality of furniture they sell combined with the information they can provide on how the furniture is made will sell the products itself. My experience was so bad. bought a sofa for 10k and I thought I was going to get this great 24 months 0% promotion only for it not to be updated in the system and now its impacting my credit. I wish I could take legal action but I was lied to and no one wants to take accountability. I was told the card company could update my plan and and they indeed can NOT! The store has to fix this and they did not. I also had to have my entire sofa replaced due to die transfers within the 1st 30 days. We are hard working folks and this big business company doesn't care about taking care of their clients and making things right. I spoke to the sales rep and also the store manager and had to keep following up then being offered the 600$ merch credit when I have lost thousands in interest fees is a crime. read more

I am continually surprised by how rude the staff is at Arhaus. I spoke with Sue a few weeks ago and she was so unhelpful, short in tone, and just seemed like I was an annoyance to her. We have been long time Arhaus customers and have purchased pieces in Boston, Houston, and now Indianapolis. The staff at the Indianapolis store were so welcoming and allowed us to move pieces around on the showroom floor to see what they would look like in our home. We happened to be there for a huge floor sale and picked up a bunch of pillows and accessories that we were not intending to purchase. I am new to the city so I have been buying a lot of new furniture. Arhaus has good quality products and lots of options. I ended up buying two tables from them. The delivery process is easy and I am happy with them. I will be going back for future purchases. The sales people are on top of you when you walk in (I am sure they have a camera or bell or something when you walk in the door.) This has been typical and standard in most furniture stores around the area. However, they had a good balance of wanting you to look around without them hanging out over your shoulders. At the end of the day, you have to know how sales people operate. They want you to talk like they are your best friend etc. The weridest part of the whole store is that when they check you out, it is not automated. They do it via a calucator and paper. Also, whatever their online system was, did not match the sign that was on top of what I wanted to buy. I caught the price difference because I took a picture of the price tag on the item. They were happy to fix it. However, I lost my trust with their checkout system. It is 2016, updated technology is a must! read more

Awful, simply awful. One of the worst experiences of my life. If I could negative stars I would because giving one star is giving them far more credit than they deserve. Terrible customer service and just a terrible overall experience. We bought 4 couches and a desk. EVERY one of the four couches had to be returned for defects. They brought FOUR different desks and every single one was defective. Even the final one that we kept has large scuffs on the tabletop but we were just sick of dealing with it. Their delivery drivers were at our house at least 6 times. The drivers even said that they saw defective items delivered daily. In the end, they gave us a small discount but it still wasn't worth the headache of this transaction. Hours and hours on the phone with customer service and eventually dealing with the regional manager. Taking time out of days to meet delivery drivers six times. This process went on and on for over six months. This is the short version of things. I could go on for pages and pages about how terrible this experience was. Letdown after letdown. They sucked the life and fun out of decorating our new house. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AS FAR AS YOU CAN FEOM ARHAUS FURNITURE!!! read more

This place is a bit OTT (over the top) with some of their decor stuff, but maybe this is what life in a Carmel mansion in is all about. There are some fun items, but mostly really large, for some MTV Cribs show space. I liked a few of the chandeliers--it sorta feels like they are copying Restoration Hardware and a couple other places--can't quite put my finger on it. They have big animal statues, bed stuff, shelves, tables, some cool lights, and just lots of really odd exaggerated-size things. It's worth a wander around, but I'm not the target market. read more

Arhaus does not stand behind the quality of their furniture. Their customer service center informed us that the warranty for their product does not cover the fabric or leather. We purchase a dining table and chairs and one of the chairs "leather" covering peeled off of the fabric backing in multiple places including locations that could not be due to wear. They replied to our request for a replacement telling us that fabrics are not covered by the warranty. This was not explained or communicated to us at the time of purchase so beware when buying furniture from this company. Looks Miss Melissa up, she's taken wonderful care of us so far in placing orders for a handful of items that were not available on their showroom floor. We have previously done business at the Kenwood Cincinnati, OH location but recently received some gift certificates and headed to the closest location to redeem. The center room of this specific store is what house building and decorating dreams are made of. I cannot wait to get our office chair, bar stools and lamps to match the rest of our Arhaus furniture! She's worked with us to select items that could be ordered and delivered to store in order to avoid shipping charges. If I could, I'd take one of just about anything they have to offer!!! The store is always neat, tidy and crisply cool. It has a fragrance that is specific to their brand and I can't help but love yanking their obnoxiously large handled doors open to dive right into exploring each locations uniqueness! read more

As echoed by others, the customer service of the Indianapolis location is abysmal. From the salesperson Lisa forgetting to order my chair to delaying the refund of part of my purchase, I am highly disappointed with the service I received considering the high pricing of their furniture. I dealt directly with salesperson Lisa, who dropped the ball many times. Throughout the process, I made over ten phone calls to the store. When I tried to speak with the store manager, Melissa, directly, she was "too busy" to answer and had another salesperson handle my problem with my order. I eventually called the corporate customer service line which rectified the problem within 24 hours. I was told repeatedly the store had credited my purchase when in fact the corporate office confirmed they had not. Whether it was dishonesty or a lack of follow-through, the store lacks accountability to their promises and customer guarantees. In the future, I will purchase my furniture from other retailers offering better customer service at a similar or lower price. It is a shame considering I have been very satisfied with the quality and comfort of my chairs. read more

Terrible experience so far!! Ordered 2 swivel rocker chairs from the Indianapolis store and was told they would be here middle of March, when that time came, called and was told that they should be at the warehouse the next week, so I should have them in 2 weeks. Then, I heard nothing for 2 more weeks, cakes back. They said now it was not going to be til April and that I would get a call from someone to set up delivery when that time came. I have had to contact them each time. Every time I have been told someone would call me, it doesn't happen. I have had no explanation about any of the delays that occurred. The 2 chairs arrived on Tuesday this week, and they are not swivel or rocker. Delivery guys called in and I spoke with someone in the delivery dept and she said to keep the chairs until they could get the correct ones for me, which would be another 22 weeks and that someone from the actual store had put the order in wrong. She also said someone from the Indy store would be calling me. It is now Thursday, and no one has called me to apologize, or discuss what went wrong, or what is next or anything. I don't even know if another order has been put in yet. I am not happy at all!!! My salesperson has been aweful! read more

Over the years I have spent many thousands of dollars at Arhaus because they exhibited high quality and excellent customer service. This all seems to have all deteriorated in the past year. A recent purchase of a bedroom suite was given an ETA at end of October, then end of Nov and given many updates by Amy, sales agent, to stay with original ETA. The week of delivery she called and stated it would still be another month! No reason was given, it was just pushed back. It was finally delivered at the end of December and found to have a couple of handles in need of repair. It took a couple of weeks for Melissa in management to return my call. Eventually it was handled and a new dresser was delivered in a very timely manner even though I thought a simple handyman repair would have been sufficient. Finally my last order in Early Nov of a custom bedroom bench was given an ETA as mid February of this year. Again Amy, the sales agent gave me regular updates stating the ETA was remaining the same date. Again her last call in the same week the piece of furniture was due, she called and said it was going to take another 2 1/2 months!! Again, no offer was made as to check to see why- just stated it probably got pushed back! I left a message for Melissa, the manager, but as expected have not received a courtesy follow up call to date. I realize the Covid environment has caused many undo relays, but that is no excuse for giving false updates on the ETA up until the last second, not being willing to check on reasons for delays with the manufacturers ETA, and for the long delays in management returning calls! read more

The task of furnishing spaces has always been a daunting one for me, but Melissa was so personable and knowledgeable from the time we met her that it put my husband and I at ease. She took the time to listen to us and get to know our style in order to best suit our needs, and the results have been even more incredible than we ever expected. BUYER BEWARE!! I have purchased several pieces of furniture from this store, including a sofa, bedframe, upholstered chairs and side tables. Thought they were decent people, until I realized I got suckered on the one and only warranty I have ever purchased in my life. Bought it with the sofa a few years ago when the salesperson Amy went on and on about how great the "worry free coverage" is, "especially since you have a dog". She specifically stated it would cover a dog chewing on the cushion, and even had a co-conspirator confirm her lie. His only clarification was that "well, they'll replace it once, but not repeatedly". Flash forward 4 years, add a new stray pup to the household and suddenly I have a small area of damage on the corner of a cushion. No big deal, I have that great "Worry Free Coverage". Of course, the folks there can barely maintain eye contact as they tell me there is no coverage for chewing damage, and of course, they insist it has never been covered, Better yet, they "can't imagine that anyone would have ever told me that". They are right, it wasn't one, it was TWO salespeople that said it. So, I'm out the warranty money, disappointed in myself for getting sucked into the lie, but Arhaus is out a 10+ year customer.
