I only came to look but since ai have a new home I was able to snag a few things. The sections were very clean and organized which es helped out a lot when asking the employees where things were.

This visit was very specific. I located the items online and picked them up in the store. I found some great kitchen items that were on sale.

Omg the cookies are so hard. The pizza is uuum interesting (see photo). I couldn't find anything I walked in for and there was really no one around to ask for help. The carts are always annoying because why don't they just go straight? The customer service in both the upstairs restaurant and the exiting food area was great. They were kind and helpful. The girl at self checkout was also kind and helpful.

This review is based on a recent purchase I made for a table. I love the look of it. It was reasonable priced and easy to assemble. HOWEVER, my boyfriend pointed out that the drawers for the table may have been built incorrectly. The silver gliders for the drawers are supposed to be closer together at the top with the larger drawers further apart on the bottom. I'm super disappointed because it's been an ongoing project for awhile now. Will be calling to see if I can get an exchange and someone to service me in house for all the inconvenience since I live in Virginia.

As I saw many negative reviews on Yelp, I was a little suspicious about this location, but I had a pretty good time here at IKEA. The store was neatly organized, cleaned, and tidied up. I could easily find furniture items that I saw online and try to compare them. Staff was not available in every single area, so you might have to walk a few blocks to ask questions. A friendly and experienced staff also efficiently helped me to make an order and delivery reservation. Using app/website was also pretty simple and convenient. Especially, if you sign up and become a member, you can get a special promotion or free coffee. Food options at restaurant were not huge, but it's like a nostalgic school cafeteria and fun experience. Each food items were nicely priced and pretty decent quality. Foods were more like heated up rather than freshly made so don't expect a five star restaurant experience. Meat balls were pretty soft and flavorful, mac and cheese was lukewarm and soapy, and both cakes were pretty good. There were a lot of parking and also loading area in front of the store so easy to visit and put the big items on your car. I would say that if you purchase a big furniture like table and decline the assemble service, you have to do it by yourself, which might be burdensome for some people who are not used to it. Overall, I noticed that the price of products went up compared to several years ago, but I don't complain much as inflation is affecting everything.

If you want to build it....IKEA and a little patience is all you need. I have a bit of both ;--) I frequent this Ikea because I want to achieve my own personal "carrie bradshaw" type of closet (the ladies will understand).....I also want a PAX spa cabinet. So, although I could give them 3 stars - I know they are 4 star worthy.... Here lately though, I am becoming very frustrated. Lots of things are temporarily unavailable or discontinued without notice. Makes it extremely hard when you have a large project to achieve. ALSO! This weekend they advertised their annual Julboard and I was exited for the festivities....BUT, as with everything else - IKEA missed their usual mark. I believe it is due to the pandemic but I am disappointed. I don't want IKEA to be in comparison to Walmart, Costco, or Sam's...I hold them in a higher regard....but, empty shelves - displaying things on the showroom not available - Costco type sampling....this is not you IKEA!!!! I know because I am here all the time.....BRING IKEA back!!!!!!

I'm not really a fan of IKEA, but I do happen to go when my friend wants to go. Been quite a few times in the past few months, and it's been good visits each time. Most of the staff are attentive and helpful if you can find one. With supply chain issues, there are some things that come in and out of stock which is expected. I do like being to look up on the touch screens throughout to see if an item is in stock and where it's located. Friend and I do like one particular bathroom featured in particular. Would be cool if the mermaid themed tile was available. I'd be learning how to tile and grout my bathroom with it! :) Latest visit, I we actually ate. Friend got the Swedish meatballs. I was thinking of trying the plant balls since I don't eat red meat, but they looked a little sad as if they'd been sitting there for awhile. So, I opted for the salmon. Enough flavor along with the potato medallion and broccoli. I did add just a little bit more black pepper though. Only obsession is the oatmeal cookies with chocolate. Have to pace myself or I'll wind up eating the whole package!

The right place for everything , is a one stop service from furniture checkout, ideas for designing your future whatever rooms, to Swedish food! This is our favorite, Ikea restaurant! The warehouse was huge, you can also come to practice walking or exercise during extreme weather. They have variety of food selection, all come with healthy calories calculation. Our favorites always Swedish meatballs, fried chicken, veggies balls and the desserts. Have you tried their veggies balls? It's taste almost the same as the meatballs, but more delicious! Don't miss out on the rice pilaf as the side dish, it's the perfect combination with veggies balls and the sauce. We're all facing the same issues here at this moment, some if not all items are out of stock! You have to be prepared if you're running a project, either come as grab as the stocks are ready or visit the store multiple times.

Found exactly what I needed. Good prices too. Also had a good lunch for a fair price. I like the bottomless drinks.

Ask the Community - IKEA

Does this store allows walk in shopping now?

Yes

When do you guys restock? I have been checking for bed frames and it seems to list on your app that everything is out of stock.

I'm 2022 they revamped their bed section. They should be fully stocked now

Sofas in stock?

I've seen some but I have noticed lately IKEA's stock seems low due to COVID I guess! I would call to be a 100 percent sure!

How is College Park store at actually handling returns of large items? Yes, policy says 1-year return but I don't want to bring large, heavy item to store only to get turned away because COVID has altered life. Phone number is useless.

I returned an assembled office chair. It's not as large as a sofa, but big enough. They just spray it down. No issues with return. Smooth process.

Review Highlights - IKEA

Yes, there are other Ikeas which are larger, but this one has lots of furniture, is always stocked, and their show rooms are really well done.

The home had been updated 10 years ago and was very eclectic. We had never felt totally settled in our prior home and wanted to work with a designer to feel totally settled into our new life across the country. In reviewing numerous Yelp and google reviews, we found Emilie at Home Methods and instantly fell in love with her bold and bright color palettes and the right amount of eclectic and classic to really match our personalities. We were still in escrow when we met Emilie and she came over to the home even before closing to take measurements and help us start envisioning our new home. Emilie walked us through every part of the process with expertise and enthusiasm. Emilie gave us quotes for helping pick out design ideas at various cost levels as well as helping us install her vision with appropriate contractors, delivery personnel, and shipping/storing until installment day. In the first round we decided on living room/dining room furniture, wallpaper/paint, art and decor. Once we were living in the home, we realized we needed to update the hardwood floors, which were not standing up to our pack of pets. Emilie helped us then identify some awesome luxury plank vinyl to protect the original hardwood underneath and a fantastic professional to install them. All of Emilies contractors were professional, kind, prompt, and provided excellent work product. Emilie herself is kind, personable, incredibly knowledgeable, prompt, enthusiastic, and flexible. We literally could not have imagined a better working relationship with such a big task. We absolutely love our home and all of the design choices that Emilie helped us make. With such an eclectic home she helped us marry the right balance of punchy and timeless, not to mention durable with 4 dogs and a cat. If you are looking for any home design project, big or small, Emilie is the right choice. We will continue to use her for ongoing updates and additions in the future because it was such a wonderful experience. Thank you Emilie for making this huge transition so easy and turning a house into a home!

This location was significantly better in every way. The store was much cleaner, way more spacious, and actually organized enough to shop without feeling overstimulated. The products were also noticeably better with more variety and less random junk thrown everywhere. The service was quicker too. I was able to get in and out without standing in a line that felt like a full time job. The overall shopping experience just felt smoother and less chaotic. I would think being in a college town, it would a good choice for customers, but I've never seen the store with more than two or three shoppers.

All the advertising in the mall led me to believe that school uniforms was all they had to offer. This is just like TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Burlington, etc. But on a messier scale. The Men's Department, if you can call it that, was a tiny offshoot tucked away between the registers and home decor.
