I fell into this intriguing Antique store on the main st. of Park Ave. It has 2 levels of pretty much anything ranging from Furniture, clothes, knick knacks and various things which are anything that constitutes as " antiques". I had bought a Hockey Jersey which has the infamous Friday the 13th villain but definitely in mint condition never worn. Sports memorabilia and Throwback jerseys and hats. The cashier was super friendly and helpful. It has something for everyone and also has reasonable prices.

Really, I thought immediately the place was out of my price range, but a friendly stranger told me I should go look inside, offering that you could do cute date nights and make your own scents here, but then she assured me the place was black owned, and I HAD to at least see what gems were hiding inside. And there were so many! Bath salts you could mix to bring home, an oil scent lab, and all sorts of adorable accessories that caught my eye: lacy socks, perfect for Docs; some earrings at a great price point; and some sunglasses that no one else will be wearing ANYWHERE, for a mere $20! The woman working the store was just so friendly, and told us to cash is Queen in here store, if you know what I mean? But, I've found my favorite place to invest my modest disposable income at when I'm in Alameda. I'll be back to crate an oil scent roller...for $15! That's absurd. Every first Sunday you can find some hidden gems at Alameda Flea. From DVD, VHS tapes, rustic…read morepaintings, clothing, rugs to beer steins - there is no shortage of items. However, the parking situation can be quite tedious when arriving after 10am. The entrance fee varies based on the time you come in, with the most expensive being when they open at 6am ($20). My family and I got there around 11am and it was a $10 entrance fee. They do allow re-entries so long as you get a handstamp before exiting. Today was my first time visiting and I was taken aback by how pricey a lot of items were - especially the clothing. Many were priced higher than new items. The food vendors present were underwhelming. We had Donna's Tamales and it was quite bland and overpriced. They charged me $18 for 2 corn chili tamales. My husband and I had hoped to find some items for our new spot, but left empty handed. Not sure I will be back for how marked up the items were.

Door was locked and the curtains were drawn... Waited 5 minutes and knocked on the doors but still no answer. I peeked between the curtains and saw that the lights were also turned off. Very mysterious place.
