Our visit today first time at this location Zee was our server she did outstanding job table touches on time. Never waited on drinks very professional very courteous and friendly. Thank us for stopping by very polite always smiling. We both had 2+2+2 bacon perfect and crispy eggs was cooked. Exactly how we ask pancakes actually are always good. Notice one of the other servers the table next to us didn't catch your name, but she did a great job as well very picky customer she waited on, but she did great very patient very kind. A bus will come out once only should come out a few more times to help with the tables floor could've been swept in between customers lot of fries and food on the floor when wiped the table so I just wiped it on the floor. Nobody came back to clean it up. Didn't see a manager. Was there for one hour never had anybody come to our table to check on us besides our awesome server ZEE definitely would recommend the place breakfast was great. She was tending to five tables while the only other waitress took care of on table of four and a dog (yep, a small dog was part of their party). This was the cleanest and nicest IHOP I have been in. The waitress, receptionist and cooks were pleasant, hard working, efficient and smiling. Omg. If I could give this place negative stars I would. The lady who sat us, the manager I think, was very professional and sweet. The problem is, she seems to be dealing with an incompetent staff. We were given coffee, no creamer or sugar, had to ask 3 times for some, no silverware on the table, and waited more than 20 minutes for our order. No one else ever acknowledged us, and we are not the only ones who got up and left. There are sti people waiting on their checks and food. We had to go to the front register to find some one so we could pay for our drinks and the lady there said said so and so was your server? Newest ihop in Thomasville Georgia, as all ihops you visit on the weekend it's going to be busy. We waited about 15 minutes to be seated which was not too bad. Hostess was friendly but not overly so I assume it's because they just finished the morning rush. Once called we were seated promptly and the server took our order almost immediately. Coffee came quick as well which was good because I needed it! Food was on par with a any standard ihop and arrived hot. Overall this was a good experience and a nice breakfast. read more

If the owner of this IHOP expects it to stay open, then they had better quickly get engaged in the improvement of customer service. The food is great but the service is not. Seems like massive confusion on who is supposed to do what. Lacks supervision and leadership. The atmosphere is very nice and the prices higher than the competition. So we expect at least "good" to "excellent" service. Breakfast is all the same, no real way to mess up a breakfast except with the service. Management--get it together really fast or expect the doors to close. Thomasville is very lucky to have a nice clean IHOP, but I don't see this place making it, based on the lack of professional SERVICE while charging top of the line prices. I'll pay the prices, but don't forget about the customer service. It's sad. This is my families 3rd trip here and it was my first. I see no reason to return. read more

I hesitate to leave a review as we didn't even eat. We walked in and without a greeting, we were handed menus and told we could "sit wherever you want". We needed a minute to decide and when she finally returned to take our order, a Belgian waffle was ordered. Her reply was that they didn't have waffles or crepes. We left. Every employee was being very rude not only to my table, but every other table around. I took 2 hours and 3 times to get the order right. No need to review the food because it's just like every other IHOP. However, I've been here several times and the service is consistently chaotic and poor. We had one waitress take only half our order and then move on to another table. A second waitress finished our order unexpectedly, but they were completely out of communication with each other and in confusion. 2 hosts tried to seat us. Also, our table was next to the kitchen and we could hear the cooks arguing with the wait staff about who-did-what. We looked around, and almost nobody had their food yet as a result. At least the staff is friendly. Among some Thomasville folk, this IHOP is already getting a reputation of bad service. Hey IHOP, you should hire the higher echelon of Chick-fil-a to teach you how to manage a restaurant. When your business slumps, don't blame it on the size of the town, but on your poor management. I would leave no stars if possible. it's sad because I LOVE IHOP and even used to work at one so walking into this location and getting the service or better yet lack of service we received. When we first went in we were not greeted or talked to what so ever until another women, not with us, approached the counter and asked how long the wait would be. We then got on the list and was sat at a table within just a few minutes. husband and I sat there with multiple waitresses around us not once even acknowledging us. We sat there for an extended period of time without one word from anyone Before we just got up and left. I have been a server for many many years and this should never be someone's experience in any restaurant. Not to mention the place looked disheveled, employees without shirts tucked in, host Not wearing correct uniform pants, cooks screaming in the back with no hair net. Horrible service. I have been here three times now and I will not be back. First time the waitress took food off my plate and served it to another customer. This time everyone got their food at our table except one person. After a 20 min wait the food came to the table and was wrong. After being charged for an entire meal and all I got was two pancakes and bacon, the waitress kept our change and never returned to give us change. Absolutely terrible management! I was greeted by a little man with black hair who was loud and rude. I'm assuming he is the manager since he was running around the entire restaurant yelling at everybody. I would not want any of my friends or family members working for a company where they get yelled at constantly. I honestly felt disrespected by him and I aught to take my business elsewhere. The waitress my family and I had was wonderful. She was always apologizing if she felt like we waited too long for anything, even if we did not. She informed us that this was her first job as a server, but that she would do her best to keep us happy. I also saw her that same evening be yelled at by another man and woman who were not customers nor another server. I don't understand why someone would feel it necessary to belittle a underpaid waitress who deserves better respect than what they are given. I almost put in for a job at IHOP, but I heard people walking out of the hotel the interviews were being held saying the man scared them into not wanting to work for them, so I did not waste my time by filling out an application. I will stick to the job I have, since I don't receive unfair treatment. If I could give this restaurant a negative amount of stars, I would. Just because the terrible management.
