My dining companion and I visited on a recent Saturday for lunch and despite the crowd milling about near the order counter, everyone around us received their food on a timely basis. Alot were picking up to go orders, but some stayed, as did we. We ordered a cheeseburger meal deal, which included a small cheeseburger, small fries and a medium fountain drink. We also ordered a Champ single, which is a quarter pound burger with all the toppings and a chocolate shake. Delicious and I will say, if you are a fan of McDonald's french fries, but cannot bother with their wait time, Chandler's does fries RIGHT! Perfect crispiness on the outside and soft on the inside. And there were plenty for two people. The burgers, fries, soda and chocolate shake were all delivered swiftly. The food was hot and tasty! We will return. Friendly staff, good value for money, and just what you expect for quick service food.

Dinner night in Thomasville, we decided on George and Louie's Seafood restaurant…read more It's reminiscent of the old order at the counter and service after pay, restaurants of my youth. I settled in for the fried shrimp, sweet potato fries and coleslaw, while Dawn had the Greek-shrimp salad. We were served quickly and the shrimp was fresh and cooked nicely. I like my fries just a little more crispy than what I received, but they weren't bad. The slaw was good, with just a hint of dill in the mix. Dawn absolutely loved her salad, it was seasoned just right according to her. Everyone was friendly, the waitress made sure we were okay, and the ambience was good. It's a little pricey for everyday dining, but it was definitely worth the price. Give George and Louie's a try if you are in the Thomasville Ga. Area!

True to the quote- I got my call right at 45 minutes. We had a party of 8- me and John, my sister, her hubby and her 2 girls & my mom and her man. I put in an appetizer order for cheese curds right away, knowing I wanted to try them- but when you order appetizers, service slows. They don't take your order for regular food right away. Meanwhile, bathroom situation here is one stall rooms. AKA- one at a time- that was a little brutal. Cheese curds were phenominal- only better I've had were in Milwaukee! Food was ordered and it took forever and a day- my poor niece didn't get her food till everyone was finished eating. She actually left and stood in line for the bathroom to avoid watching us all eat. I felt horrible for her. Meanwhile- everyone's food was fabulous. Except mine. John and I ordered the philly cheesesteak. There was not nearly enough meat. The burgers that hit the table- huge, juicy and cheesey. The charcuterie board- spectacular! The bowl of soup huge and filling. Our cheesesteak- bread and a ton of cheese and over cooked meat that didn't meet the ratio of meat-bread-cheese. For a very small, curated menu- I expected everything to be delicious. I was genuinely sad that our meal failed. And the wait on Addy's lunch was unacceptable. Those 2 things bumped a 4 star review down, I actually selected 4 when I started typing and then changed it to 3 because recalling this memory to write this up... sigh. I love supporting small. These are fixable issues.
