I visited IHOP in Stockton, CA [2716 W March Ln] on two separate visits recently: 1st visit on Friday, 07/31/26, around 9 AM (Takeout): I placed a takeout order for my family and I to receive two $7 Value Ham & Cheese Omelettes (served with pancakes) and one Quick 2-Egg Breakfast with Turkey Bacon, Hashbrowns, and Wheat Toast. The pickup time was set for 9am, and it was prepared to be ready at this time. The food quality was decent. Everything met expectations, except for the two over-easy eggs with the Quick 2-Egg Breakfast meal. The egg yolks were broken and got all over the hash brown and Turkey Bacon. It wasn't a huge problem but it's preferable for me to break the yolk myself when digging into the dish. 2nd visit on Sunday, 08/30/26, around 10:45 AM (Dine-In): My mother and I came to dine inside the restaurant. The restaurant was welcoming and clean. It was also definitely crowded and appeared to be busy. We did manage to sit down at our table within 15 minutes, so the wait was minimal. I ordered the Big Breakfast Burrito with Bacon & Sausage w/ Fries while she had the Sirloin Tips & Eggs w/ Hashbrown (Steak requested to be prepared medium-well). Even though my burrito and fries were tasty, my mother's steak was overcooked and the mushrooms and onions were burnt in the dish. The reason could be that the kitchen was inundated with a lot of orders on a Sunday morning. We asked for it to be replaced and packed to go home. As we got home, the steak was overcooked again. I submitted the online form to IHOP explaining the entire experience, and the restaurant manager, Basilio, immediately reached out to me. He was super sincere in his apology and offered to make it right the next time we visit. I truly appreciated his effort and showing concern. Lastly, Susan was my server during the entire dining experience. Her hospitality and attentiveness were impeccable. All in all, IHOP serves standard, edible breakfast food. There may be a bit of inconsistency with the preparation of food here and there, but the staff is totally kind and price points are even reasonable. Being a part of the Rewards Program to earn PanCoins for redeemable free items is an additional plus. In my first visit, I redeemed the Quick 2-Egg Breakfast for 30 PanCoins. In my second visit, I redeemed a free soft drink for 5 PanCoins. I'd still come back to this location. read more

We were wanting breakfast and it was almost noon so we opted for IHOP. There's plenty of parking around the building and it's located right off the freeway. It was pretty empty inside, but it took a few minutes to get us seated. Our drink order was taken and he gave us some time to review the menus. They had a menu which offered there specials so we decided to do a ham and egg omelette with pancakes. Pancakes are always good but the omelette was ok. The service lacked. They didn't check back after dropping off the food. I had to go to another table to get some hot sauce. When we're done, I had to go to the front register to pay as the didn't came back to give us a tab. It's pretty sad, considering it was pretty empty with plenty of workers. read more

First meal for 2025. I don't remember the last time I've been to IHOP. Since our attempt for a coffee shop run failed this morning we decided to have breakfast here. My boyfriend ordered the sirloin steak tips and eggs. He said the dish was good and steak was tender. I wanted something light so I chose the avocado toast with eggs and bacon and a side of fruits. The avocado toast had roasted tomatoes on top. I usually don't like roasted tomatoes but I ended up like this because the tomatoes were seasoned good. Overall, we both enjoyed what we ordered. Service was quick and friendly. read more

Our server Luis was great. He was very attentive and friendly. Amazing customer service. It was a bit busy as it was Sunday morning but we got seated within 10 minutes. read more

As usual, we went out for breakfast on Sunday morning. We came in with a large group, so we understood that it might take a little longer and tried to be patient throughout our visit. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing from beginning to end. Our waitress repeatedly handed all of the food, drinks, and other items to one person in our party and expected them to pass everything out to the rest of the table instead of serving each guest. This felt unprofessional and put an unnecessary burden on one of our guests. On top of that, four of our orders came out incorrectly. We understand that mistakes happen, especially with larger parties, so we politely asked for the correct meals. Rather than receiving an apology or understanding, we were met with attitude, which made the experience even more frustrating. To end the meal, our waitress loudly announced our total to our entire party, which felt unnecessary, unprofessional, and quite frankly very rude. We understand that serving a large party can be challenging, and we did our best to be patient and respectful. Unfortunately, the repeated order mistakes, rude attitude, poor service, and lack of professionalism made this a very disappointing experience. We won't be returning. read more

Horrible service. You walk in and are waiting to be greeted. Servers walk by and won't even acknowledge you standing there. A server comes to the front to look at the waitlist behind the counter and called one of the names. Ignoring that my party and I are standing there. As she proceeds to walk away I asked if she can put our name down on the waitlist. Food was okay, the waitress didn't come around to check and I had to go look for her to get my bill. read more

The service was probably 4 stars, they were nice. The food was disappointing, at least for the eggs Benedict plates we got. I ordered the Poblano Benedict, which I'll add a picture of. The hollandaise sauce was nowhere to be found and the eggs were both over medium. I was bummed, but the poblano peppers were really good, but not spicy like they were described in the menu. And the fruit was okay. Pineapple, honeydew, and grapes. It was pretty crowded 9AM on a Saturday and they still seated us right away and got us our orders quickly. So that was nice. read more

We've been here before on the way to SF or Southern California from Sacramento. The neighborhood is pretty sketchy but the restaurant parking and interior are very clean. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was very good and the pancakes are very hard to beat. We'll be back again read more

I'm not sure about this location. I order hot tea, but the water was not hot. It was luke warm, so I was NOT happy about that at all. The bag of tea was $4.19 (never again). I will bring my own. They only had green, not black. She didn't tell me until I opened it and asked Susan( waitress) They only had orange & apple juice. No cranberry. Mixed feelings about this location. read more

Never disappointed about the food, especially when you spend the night before browsing at what you're getting the next morning. Service here needs to be improved. Host who seated us was pleasant. Our server Jose greeted us in Spanish which was not a problem, but whole deme changed when I responded in English. The table across from us got their food first before us, mind you we were there before they were. The manager checked us out and did not thank us or greet us out. That alone does not look good coming from a manager and I tip for good service. read more

I waited 15 minutes then asked why I couldn't be seated (less than 50% full and tables were clean) I was semi scolded and told every one wants to be seated and I need to be patient, There are only 3 servers. Ok I was just 1 and a party of 4 was behind me. The time it took to reprimand me she could have handled me a menu and sat me less than 5 feet away. I excused my self and went to Denny's down the street. I was seated right away, about the same 50% tables full. But only 1 server working read more

Stopped with our truck pulling track motorcycles. A lot of unhoused in the back giving us the side eye so we parked in the front. Restaurant completely empty as far as we could tell. Ask to sit in the front so we could keep an eye on our motorcycles. Snotty answers was "No, that area is officially closed." It was already hard enough to park so we said we'd find somewhere else. She says "Have a nice day" in a snotty tone as we leave. Never again. Customer service sucks. read more

I walked in myself and was told that it would be a 30 minute wait even though the counter only had 1 person sitting at it and plenty of empty tables and booths.Wow I guess I'll go to IHOP. read more

Besides the staff being incredibly friendly there isn't much to recommend about this location sadly. The walls are filthy and marked with handprints. The floors are coming up. The food is sad. Biscuits are meant to be thick and fluffy. These are thin. Breakfast gravy tastes weirdly like cream of mushroom soup. While plate was luke warm. No black tea. Only green tea and chamomile. Only jam option was strawberry. Skip the location on March Lane. read more

Just finished the biannual smog check (passed, yaay) on my 07 Nitrobomb so treating myself to breakfast. Clean bright, 5 minute wait for a table. Quick coffee and order taking. Breakfast came out quickly. Nice fluffy Belgian waffle, eggs to order and decent sausage links. All in all, good service, good food, good experience. read more

We waited 15 min. To be seated. Once seated and order done, waitress came back 4x each time to say that a part of our order was not available. We needed to change our order several times to realize that what we wanted to eat, we couldn't. I wishbthey informed us before hand that certain orders were not available. We waited 45 min. Total time to be told that they didn't have what we wanted (we even changed our order several times). We left and went to ihop. read more

Food and everything was good. The service was good. The food I like most I'd choose probably the pancakes.

Wow! After reading the recent reviews, I'm thinking we never should have come here! But our men's group of four has been here the past two weeks for breakfast at 8:00 AM and can report that the service has been good and food excellent. Granted, there are only about a dozen folks there at that time. Admittedly, the place is run down, they are under-staffed, and the landscaping outside needs some care. Prices for the senior breakfast are better than other local dives, except for the coffee, which is more (about $4.35 right now - Yikes!). So you can a LOT of food for under $10.00 if you just drink water with your meal. Works for me. Now, if we keep going, things may change - so we'll see. read more

This was my first time eating at an IHOP so I went into the experience with an open mind. To start the service was quick and pleasant, nothing out of the ordinary and as you'd expect. The food itself was pretty good! There were multiple things to order from and the staff do a good job of meeting any dietary requests. The smell when entering was a little strong of disinfectant but that may be a good sign of cleanliness for many. Overall, I had a pretty good meal, nothing that blew my mind or surprised me but solid food to keep me full for a while. read more

It's been years since my last visit to any iHop, stopped here on a drive headed north. Everything was good. I had the Egg white veggie omelet with fruit. But I did take a couple of bites of my husbands pancakes. Yummy! I remember back years ago always grabbing the sticky syrup bottles. No more! All nice and neat and no drips! Good service, nice, clean place. read more

Waited for 15 minutes after being sat and not a single person came to take our order or even drinks. Came during lunch, not breakfast rush hour, we were the only ones sat on that entire side of the restaurant. Other side wasn't even busy either. At least 3 employees passed by our table during that time and didn't say a word to us. Honestly I'm shocked customer service can be that non existent. read more

I tried to do a online order for Mother's Day yesterday and when I finally went to pay for my items I received a "unable to verify basket." Error message. Gave the location a call and they said -" due to high volume of Mothers Day, we are not taking any online orders, Door dash or even take out orders. All orders must be for dine in only." Umm I get it, a holiday or a special day just means you should have plan in advance for this to account for the heavy workload. Lost thousands easily yesterday for sure. I think what happened yesterday should be a huge wake up call to get addresses and find a better solution then to have your online customers suffer and give them the only option to come and wait a few hours until you're able to be served. Even after my review I still find I hop my main place for breakfast needs. Just need to work on managing their online orders etc. unfortunately they did not get my business yesterday but another day yes. read more

The employees are helpful and attentive the atmosphere is decent but the prices are RIDICULOUS! Expect to spend $25 per person minimum for a meal that should cost half as much, check out the cost of an iced tea! No thanks I'll eat at a more reasonable restaurant.SO NOW THE OWNER CHIMES BACK " IF YOU'RE BROKE JUST SAY THAT" well I guess if I kept paying their rip-off prices I would be!!! NO THANKS!! The food is sub-par for sure and the place has barely any business. Good luck!! read more

Worst Service people I've ever encountered in my life. Not only did we stand at a counter and weren't greeted or acknowledged for a good 5-7 minutes to then be told it might be a wait but there was hardly anyone there. So when we sit down the waitress took her time asking if we wanted anything to drink when they usually are right on it. But what really made me livid was when she finally came to take our order we told her 2 four piece bacon like we do every day and she brought out 2 -2 pieces and when we asked her why she became extremely defensive and told us "No That's What You Ordered " in a harsh disrespectful tone for someone who is supposed to be trained in Customer Service and dealing with people. She got loud in front on my 3 yr old and when we reported her to her manager who actually acted like her behavior was ok just said u don't have to pay while another customer was complaining about the same issue. I can't believe they let their employees get away with that and think it's appropriate behavior. Not worth me time or money and they wonder why there aren't more customers. Get better employees who like to come to work. read more

12/21/19 - My sisters-in-law was in town for a few days and she always likes to come here before she goes home. We both ordered the sampler plate and her cousin ordered pancakes with strawberry glaze. All of our food was good, but it seemed to me that the sampler plate is smaller. You only get one pancake and I remember at least three pancakes. When you ate that you would be so full, until you wouldn't want anything else to eat the rest of the day. Our server was nice and the place was crowded which was a good sign. It was almost noon when we got there, but still plenty of customers. The restaurant was clean. My bill was $15.00+ even though I ordered from the 55+ menu. I believe my hot tea w/lemon was $3.00+ which makes no sense. read more

Last minute we decided we wanted pancakes for dinner so we headed to where we thought we'd be able to have them. Well as we hurried thru the door the cashier informed us that they were only doing take out orders. Whaaaat? Eating out can be a challenge during this doggone pandemic! Anyways not to be put off, we headed to this IHOP and we are so glad that we did! Employees wore mask, diners were spaced nicely. The waiters we encountered were excellent! Diego, our waiter, was outstanding. Friendly, knowledgeable and he took care of our every need. Our food was prepared just as we requested and served to us promptly.
