    Cheese omelette.

We landed here impromptu after trying to find Cracker Barrel. It was a bust and ended up there for breakfast before hitting the road for a long drive. I am not going to be shy when it comes to breakfast, so here it goes. The bacon cheese omelette with hash browns and whole wheat toast was alright. I thought it was a little dry. It was still good and I ate what I could. There was so much and I couldn't finish it all. Our waitress provided quick service and we got our food in a reasonable amount of time. There's nothing wrong with unlimited coffee either. Thanks Ihop for a kick off to Sunday.

Much to say about this debacle of an experience. It started like the typical visit to a diner and we were seated straight away. Unfortunately that's where 'typical' ended. After we put in our order, I couldn't help overhearing a nearby table where the customers were being told they didn't have ketchup or any kind of sauce, including syrup. So I immediately thought wait...IHOP without syrup?!? And an omelette without ketchup (a deal breaker for me)?!? The server lady didn't tell us any of this before, during, or after our putting in the order, so we decided to wait until getting our food to ask. Then the food came out and I immediately saw the noticeably smaller portion sizes than we had come to expect at IHOP restaurants, not to mention skimping of ingredients such as mushrooms, tomatoes, and spinach for the spinach and mushroom omelette. When asked we could have ketchup and syrup, we were told that there was none. No explanation why at this point. After finishing the kid's meal-sized food, we mentioned to the server lady our experience, to which she replied, "I don't cook, I just deliver the food," and that maybe the kitchen was trying to conserve ingredients by making food portions smaller. Now, here's how I would have handled this, especially given the IHOP brand: (1) inform the customers about your supply issues and how it may affect the customers' dining experience BEFORE taking their orders, (2) do not make customers pay the full menu price for less than they get in return, and (3) take at least a bit of accountability for customers' underwhelming experience by apologising, and think about how you could make it up to your customers. Just my two cents, and I wish them well.

The cheese was smooth, not oily, and the bread was perfectly toasted. Not pictured is the "pot of gold" iced coffee, which was a vanilla and toffee nut flavor with sprinkles on top. The flavor wasn't nutty, which I enjoyed. If you like sweet coffees, this is a great option! The online menu photos looked incredible (though I still side-eye those famous PB&J wings--maybe next time!). We chose the Treylor Park Double Wide Diner for breakfast and were thrilled we did. Pro tip: Head there early on a Sunday morning! Alcohol can't be served until after 11 a.m., so the place is surprisingly quiet and easy to get into--no crowds or long waits. We were seated right away, and our server was incredibly friendly and attentive from start to finish. My husband went for The Chupacabra--a massive chimichanga-style breakfast burrito stuffed with eggs, sausage, onions, cheddar cheese, fresh pico de gallo, Sriracha, and chipotle crème fraîche, served with cheesy grits on the side. I ordered the Brunch Nachos, which sounded fun as an "appetizer"... big mistake (or the best kind of mistake!). It was a towering plate of waffle fries loaded with cheddar cheese, bacon, sausage gravy, fried chicken, and topped with sunny-side-up eggs. Both portions were enormous and absolutely delicious--we had to pace ourselves to make a dent in them! Everything tasted fantastic, with bold flavors and that perfect Southern comfort twist Treylor Park is known for. We're already planning to stop by again whenever we're near one of their locations--highly recommend for a fun, hearty breakfast!

Space is cute, especially if you can get sat next to a window to people watch. Service was slow the day we were there but I dont think it was the server's issue, I think it was the kitchen. Our server was very nice and apologetic about it but it was odd because the place wasnt even half full at the time. I dont know if i would come back to this location, but I would be open to trying the others that they have.

Open only until 2:00 PM, if you're looking for breakfast, brunch or lunch, this is the place to be. Arriving at just about noon, the place was packed, but not unpleasantly so, with customers that quickly moved through the ordering process, past the register, and to the ample seating, of their own choosing (with limited outdoor seating available; but not preferable at the time, due to the spotty showers that also choose to attend). Beverages are provided as payment is being made, leaving no thirst unquenched. Needless to say, seating is immediate. With a cup of rich, flavorful, house blend coffee in hand, my daughter, Son in Law, and I found a seat with a great view of the market activities happening outside only moments before our meals were served. The Italian Panini, chock full of succulent mildly spicy meats and lettuce, covered proportionately with dressing (yes, I was given my own bite size sample) , was my daughter's choice; a visually appealing (although not personally sampled) breakfast platter was the pick of the day for my Son in Law; and, Salmon BLT, composed of one thick, juicy piece of salmon, bursting with flavor, accented by a slice of smokey bacon atop a crisp bed of lettuce, slathered in a mild, but tasty, mustard based sauce, between two halves of a soft , flakey, croissant that more than rivaled the size of an average hamburger bun, was my choice. It did not disappoint. At just under $45.00, before tip, all of this seemed like a bargain. If there could be a downside to this experience, and I would say there couldn't be, it would be that, when visiting Savanah, choosing the place to eat jus became a bit more difficult, with Goose Feathers now in contention.
