We wanted something "local" for dinner, but I guess this is a business part of town so everything shuts down early on Saturday nights. I've never had IHOP for dinner so I wasn't so sure. I know they have great breakfasts, but until now, I would have never thought of going there for dinner. Anyway, long story short. It was pretty quite in there. Maybe three other groups, but the service was great, the place was clean, and most important, the food was actually very good! First Ihop (Oh, excuse me, "International House of Pancakes". Is there a difference?) I must say, that this place beats Denny's by a landslide. It is a bit pricier, but worth it. We've since tried those super - fatty fruity, cheesy crepes, and those are pretty bomb. Zero stars!!! Called ahead and when I showed up they didn't have my name on the list. After that got straighten out they never called us and when I went back up the host couldn't find my name of the list again!!! Freaking amateur hour. I'll never be back and I wouldn't recommend it. Clean, quiet and great breakfast! It was the first time that I have been to IHOP an I really liked it there. I'm brazilian and it was nice to know a place that has a real American breakfast. I enjoyed the food especially the pancakes. The service is not the best thing about IHOP. I waited 15 minutes for someone to take my order but it is the only thing that is negative about this place. It is a bit expensive, but worth it. It is also nice that you can eat breakfast any time of the day! I will come back another time! read more

Great service and same food that you can get in any IHOP in America. I asked for the pancakes to be held until after I finished my eggs/sausage/hashbrown skillet melt and the server accomodated (I have asked for this in other IHOP locations and hardly ever has the establishment complied). Used to eat at the Otay location a couple times a week. After my laast visit no longer go there. Server went on break in middle of my meal so i got someone else never got my sausage. Bill was only $8 something paid with my card added $2 for tip(even though i didnt get the correct order) few days later check my card balance to find someone had changed the total giving themselves a $12 tip instead of $2. I wont be returning and warn others if you do go only pay cash. read more
