My husband and I went for breakfast this morning. The hostess Jill was very sweet and nice. She ended up also being our waitress. Because they had no one else to take orders from the tables she did it all the reason why I gave three stars was not because of Jill. Jill deserves more like 10 stars. Jill had let us know that they were under new management and trying to work out the kinks. They shouldn't be trying to work out the kinks for such a popular place. The reason I am giving the three stars is because they didn't have other waitresses, and it was only her yes they did have other servers for your food delivery. But she was a one-man band when it came to sitting people and taking orders the second thing that I have a problem with is why don't they put rice inside the salt shakers. Everyone knows during the summer salt tends to clump so to avoid that then you should be putting rice to avoid all the salt clumping plus it looks like the salt shakers had not been washed because there was a brownish ring around the top of the salt shaker when you took off the top. The food was good. It's just the lack of waitresses or waiters when you have a breakfast crowd even though it was a Monday morning still that's unacceptable. You should've at least had one or two more. But again, I couldn't say more about Jill she was awesome thank you. Jill deserves a raise!!! The other thing that I have to say about the place is always freezing in there so someway that you can regulate the temperature that it's a comfortable and not freeze everybody out. read more

Prices go up, quality and customer service go down. I have been coming here with my family since this location opened. Always a wait on the weekends, so we go on days and at times that there is no wait. For instance, this last time was a Tuesday around 11am. There were people dining, but you could park and there was no wait to get a table. We sat and waited for service for at least ten minutes. It could have been longer if I didn't flag someone down to inquire about who our server would be. Finally someone came to take a drink order. No greeting, just a disgruntled face doing what she gets paid to do. We killed her with kindness regardless. Our drinks came quickly. We knew what we wanted and placed our order at the time she brought the drinks. We waited. And waited. 34 minutes to get a kids French toast sticks and a plate of eggs, sausage, and hash browns, with specialty pancakes on the side. Everything was cold except for the sausage. Unfortunately, this happens often. I don't know if the wait staff is over worked or if they are short staffed or if they just aren't checking food sitting under heat lamps? Every time we go, it's either luke warm or cold food. The pancakes are supposed to come with sauce all over them. It was such a minimal amount, on the cold pancakes, that it didn't even drip down the sides...it just sat on the top of cold butter, almost congealed. At this point I told the already annoyed-at-life waitress, who then stopped the manager who was walking by. I asked her to look at the obviously cold food and explain why it takes 30+ minutes to bring it out when the restaurant is half empty. She had no explanation and instead, apologized, insisting on standing in the kitchen to grab remade food while it's hot, and bring it to the table. It was ready and delivered in less than 5 minutes! Along with take home containers for the cold food. It's fast food from a chain restaurant. It was ok for what it was, but I think this will be our last time giving them a "2nd chance". It's not worth the wait, or the slow service and cold food. I would much rather support a small local business for the same amount of money. The 2 stars are for the manager. That's it. read more

Ambiance was typical ihop decor.... Boring. Service was slow and food came out warm. Temperature in place was very cold which didn't help the food to stay warm, plates were cold too. Who ever managed I Hop on Christmas day thank you. It was like being treated as a VIP. The manager, our server all showed enthusiasm and fun. I felt awful going out for breakfast on Christmas, but that's on me. What I didn't expect was the fun and purpose the workers put into their job. The food was I HOP food, consistent and good. First time at this location. Around 11 am on Friday, for brunch, we were greeted by 2 ladies at the podium, very pleasant and welcoming. Restaurant appeared clean, and bright. Server was very friendly. I ordered the Classic Eggs Benedict with hashbrowns and a side of sausage. I enjoyed the eggs Benedict, perfectly cooked, although the hollandaise was broken and tasted slightly sour & tart, perhaps too much lemon. I always enjoy the sausage links. I did not care for the hashbrowns. They were nicely crisp on top, but a mushy, raw-like mess underneath. (Side note, I had an unsweetened, fresh brewed iced tea, which was very good.) My husband ordered the chicken biscuit sandwich with country gravy, which came with a side, he chose a waffle. He also ordered a side of bacon and a side of fries. The sandwich was a nice size. He liked the country gravy, and the bacon was nicely crisp. Fries were basic, fried golden. The waffle was crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, and delicious! Not the best IHOP. It took almost an hour just to serve our food. Few people who came after us got their food first. It felt like we didn't have server. I had to ask a different waitress to refill my drink. Food is not that good. It's overcooked. Plus, they served us a fries that looked like it was from yesterday. It was a crisp Wednesday morning and we decided to wake up and go to ihop!! It had been i think years since we've been, so we definitely forgot what it's like. I feel like i hop has a bad rep for some reason but this meal really proved them wrong. the chefs really know how to cook a smoking omelette! it was so very delicious. every bite came with perfect amount of vegetables, eggs and cheese. the side of savory potato pancake with some tomato sauce aided the omelette so well! And as we finished every bite of those two tasty foods, we washed it down with the mouthwatering dulce de leches pancake. WHY does everyone in the world not get this pancake flavor??? I cant believe how much IHOP has changed. Pancakes are way smaller, bacon is so thin {mine was all fat!} Their new promotion with crepes is not what is advertised! The kids and I Iike IHOP but the one within NYC are small, uncomfortable and not the most friendly. While WAYOUT in Long Island we stopped by Ronkonkoma and discover is new (about 1-year old) IHOP. It is roomy, 2-3 times larger than the IHOP in Queens. The parking lot was packed today but they sat us at our table in 15 minutes. Service was fast and friendly. The food was fresh & tasty. My favorite is the "NEW 7 for $7" deals; serve all day every day! Rate 4/5. Breakfast for dinner is fun! read more

We were a party of 5 so we waited the 30 min or so that is standard on Sunday. Probably the cleanest IHOP I have been to. All condiments wiped down, table clean. Prompt, kindly service. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Nice to see Manager on site. He was cleaning the doors and greeting people as we walked in. I always notice dirty doors upon arrival to restaurants ( hate that, pet peeve). IHOP - I like it but always I eat too much. I also find it a bit expensive...had breakfast here while my car was being inspected. It doesn't have great ambiance with that Nordic style decor but the food is tasty. Ordered Harvest Grain pancakes with two eggs on top + bacon AND sausage. They also bring you a POT of coffee. I can't believe I'm about to do this but... I haven't stepped foot into an IHOP in over a decade at least, one because it's a chain and I'm a snob, two because I just never crave pancakes. Fast forward to 2016 and my girlfriend (24) getting her masters at SBU and meeting even younger friends, they urged me to come hang out for free short stack day. I reluctantly agreed and the wait was a joke; the fact all these people waited a half hour to get free pancakes and stiff their waitresses is sort of appalling. I met them after they waited a bit and we finally sat. We were kind of impressed as we hadn't been there before and expected the worst, the waitress was sweet, the tables were clean, and it was actually decent. We all got our free short stacks and I got some sort of dry double stacked BLT (the avocado for $1.50 helped though) I've gotta say, the hashbrown was delicious, as was the blackberry vanilla French toast, the apple juice, and even the free pancakes. The syrup on the table though- water and sugar, really not good. Anyone miss bobs big boy? Boysenberry syrup?! Always served warm!? Oh man, the memories. Oh well. I wouldn't really venture in to IHOP normally, but this visit was actually not bad, loud as you'd expect and crowded for free pancake day, but that waitress was so great despite what an awful day she must of been having. I went in at around 10:30am. We got seated very quickly. A server came around 5 minutes later and took my order. I can't remember the name of what I ordered but it began with "Cali". It was very good. Definitely something I would recommend to others. Now when it comes to the service; I I asked for sauces and such it took a while for me to actually receive what I asked for. But, I do realize that the restaurant seemed to be very busy for the number of servers that there were so I put no fault whatsoever to my server. She was very nice and did a great job. Can't cook proper scramble eggs. They are cooked on a griddle till some browning happens then flipped and folded. Why?
