A Craving for Belgian Waffle took me to ihop. This location is open 24/7 as per online data. It was almost empty when we arrived - but lets face it, how many people want to eat a waffle at 6 pm on a Saturday evening ?! ;) There was a weird smell in the restaurant which was the only turn-off for me. I stopped in about 5 min, so maybe it was the kitchen and whatever was cooking was over and so the smell stopped too. My partner got an omelette. He tried to customize it by requesting a few serano peppers, bell peppers, tomatoes, onions and spinach, and the chef did make an honest effort to give what he wanted. It was big, so he actually carried half of it home. Vilma waited on us. She was very bubbly and helped us understand what would suit our vegetarian palettes more than the others on the menu. I wanted to try the tomato basil soup, but they didn't know if the broth was vegetarian or not, so skipped it. Vilma also suggested a pesto omelette which was not even on the menu yet ! Maybe next time. I stuck to my Belgian waffle and it was good. Warm, right texture of crispy and soft, and oh! Soo yum. Btw, their pumpkin pancakes are back on the menu as autumn has begun....

Fantastic Pancakes togo !!!

I pretty much only come to IHOP once in awhile for 2 things I really like from this chain; The American Cheeseburger and The Pancakes. I ordered both of these togo just about an hour ago to share with a family member since they are open 24/7. Plus, we were obviously hungry on this holiday night. Just like years ago, both items were very delicious and very moist. The burger was clearly well-seasoned, very flavorful, juicy, beefy with fresh buns and cool, firm veggies. The pancakes were very good just like a fluffy cake for breakfast time. They were very easy to cut with good sweetness to them too. Nice brown, griddled top and very consistent like the burger in its own way.

Undercooked Classic Eggs Benedict with sauce that has separated.

January 3 2024 A quick trip to start our day at our local ihop. I ordered my usual, eggs Benedict classic, but it went downhill from there. Hubby ordered 2x2x2 which was the usual fare. My eggs benny were not cooked and the sauce had separated so it looked almost like melted cheese....almost. The eggs were not cooked; I like poached eggs but not eggs so runny that there was still water in the eggs. Hubby also lost his appetite. The manager apologized and was ready to redo the plate. We were however on a short time line so the acceptable solution was not to charge us for it. It seems that checks and balances were not working today; a plate that should not have seen set out by the chef should not have been brought out to the table by the waitress (see picture #3). We will probably be back....but not for a while.

So IHOP is typically for me that after hours spot but with all the changes we are here for breakfast. When we arrived the restaurant was nicely packed and they had every one six feet apart. Our waitress, who was in training, was the sweetest! She took our orders and made sure we were taken care of from beginning to end. I really don't have much to say other than the restaurant should allow trainees to get tips. I find it unfair for them to do all the hard work and not earn the money they deserve. Other than that the facility was super clean and made sure we felt comfortable. It is greatly appreciated!

It's your standard IHOP with sticky tables and springy booths. That said. It's good.

**Negative -- 0 out of 10!**…read more A group of friends and I visited this restaurant to celebrate a milestone, and from the moment we walked through the door, we were dissatisfied. The smell was unpleasant, but we decided to stay and support the business. We were told that certain menu items were available, and everyone placed their orders. We were then informed that the items we ordered were actually unavailable. When the food finally arrived, it was **cold and incorrect**. At that point, we asked to speak with a manager so we could explain our concerns and hopefully get some understanding of what had happened. A young lady named Mya came to our table. We specifically requested **"the manager,"** and she responded, *"No, you're going to speak to me. I'll go relay the message."* We found this response extremely rude and dismissive. While we were explaining our concerns, she was smirking and pulled out her phone to record the conversation, which we felt was very inappropriate and disrespectful. She then walked over to her coworkers, laughing with her phone still in hand, and proceeded to call us out of our names--using the **B-word**, to be exact. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. We came together to celebrate a special milestone and chose to support this business despite the issues we experienced from the beginning. Unfortunately, the food, service, and especially the way our concerns were handled completely ruined the experience.

I hate leaving reviews like this, but this experience needs management's attention…read more When I visited this location during a family reunion in Houston, the men's restroom had an overwhelming odor of urine. There appeared to be bodily fluids on the restroom floors and on top of the stalls, extending toward the sink area. One of the urinals had a paper towel placed over it with what appeared to be bodily fluids present. The restroom needed immediate attention. While those sanitation issues were occurring, I observed someone watching a UFC fight on a cell phone that had been propped up on one of the restaurant's decorative areas. Whether it was during work or not, it gave the impression that sanitation was not being treated as a priority. I informed a server about the restroom conditions and asked if someone could address them. I was told not to have an attitude by my server (while explaining to him the plate). That response was disappointing, especially after raising what I believed were legitimate health and sanitation concerns. My partner also told me she saw creamers dropped onto the floor and then placed back into the serving container instead of being discarded. She also informed me that the women's restroom had bodily fluids on the toilets. To make matters worse, the plate my food was served on had dried food residue around the top, rim, and on the underside, which I photographed. Clean dishes are one of the most basic expectations when dining out. I hope management takes these concerns seriously. Restaurants are responsible for maintaining clean restrooms, properly sanitized dishware, and food-safe practices. Those standards protect both customers and employees. Unfortunately, this visit did not reflect those expectations.

The atmosphere was welcoming, and everything we ordered from the new menu was amazing. I had the chicken and waffles, and I loved that you could choose between tenders and wings. The potatoes were cooked wonderfully, and the pancakes practically melted in my mouth. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be returning. I highly recommend giving The Rooster a try!

But all we got for 45 minutes was excuses. A "breakfast place" that struggles this much with drip coffee is a definite red flag. And it wasn't busy, maybe 12 customers, possibly outnumbering the useless staff. We can't speak about the food as we finally paid what we owed and walked out. Figured we could drive to downtown Houston and get coffee and food faster than this place. As a final FU we were given a thin plastic to-go cup full of scalding hot coffee that you couldn't even hold more than 3 seconds without burning yourself.

Big Horn BBQ has become one of our family's go to spots when we're craving BBQ. My 15 year old son…read moreis definitely a carnivore, and his favorite thing to order is the pound of brisket as his meal. He is completely in love with it! He also has Type 1 Diabetes, so having the option to order just meat is actually a huge plus for us. He doesn't always love having to dose insulin for every meal, so being able to get something like a pound of brisket with little to no carbs gives him an option where he can just enjoy his food without having to think as much about his insulin. It may seem like a small thing, but having those choices makes a big difference. My girls usually get the chicken tender meals, and even the kids portions are huge. There is almost always enough left over to take home, which is always a bonus. My husband and I usually share the three meat meal. The turkey is honestly the highlight for both of us. It is really good and probably our favorite meat they offer. We usually get the ribs and brisket with it as well, and everything is pretty solid. I wouldn't say it's competition style BBQ, but for a local restaurant, it's definitely good BBQ and a place we enjoy coming back to. The portions are generous, the food is consistent, and it's a restaurant that works well for our whole family. The sides are also really good and there are plenty of options to choose from. The desserts are probably the one area that didn't stand out as much for me. I tried the bread pudding, and it was just not my favorite. The flavor and texture were a little different than what I expected. That being said, the BBQ itself is what keeps us coming back. Overall, Big Horn BBQ is a great spot with good food, big portions, and options that make it easy for everyone in our family to find something they enjoy. The service is fast and it feels like a cowboys restaurant with all the animals on the walls!

They have good BBQ, but for me the BBQ brisket baked potato is the best. I get it every time, and it's always satisfying especially with the bbq sauce. The baked potato for me is so large that you can easily share it or eat from it twice. I also ordered a side of mac and cheese, yams, and corn casserole. The yams had good flavor, but some pieces had a slimy, mushy texture. The mac and cheese was pretty standard, while the corn casserole tasted almost like bread pudding with corn, which may be delicious if that's your thing. Since this was my first time dining inside, I noticed they had a large array of desserts and coffee options that I'll most definitely be returning to try. The inside of the restaurant is massive, decorated, and spacious enough to accommodate both small and large parties. The customer service could have been better. It's usually great when I order through the drive thru window, so it was disappointing that the service inside wasn't the same.
