Hard curled up German crepes

I never review places but had to on this location $47 for the worst breakfast! Let's start with silverware stuck to napkins...wtf? Ordered German crepes. Not freshly made, frozen, out of a box and heated poorly! Edges were hard and curled up. Lemon served with looked 3 days old, withered and dried out. Sausage looked like days spent under heat lamp and fruit with sister's Belgian waffle was not fresh.

Breakfast sandwich with home fries

Ordered delivery from here one time for dinner. As ihop is well known for the pancakes I wanted to venture out and try out their other products. I went with their breakfast sandwich, mozzarella sticks, and cinnamon pancakes. Overall the food was sub par to my expectations. The breakfast sandwich tasted good but it was difficult to eat like a sandwich as it would keep breaking apart when you tried to hold it up. The eggs, cheese, and bacon inside of it were fine. The biscuit also tastes fine but wasn't anything special. The home fries that came with the sandwich were bad. Didn't have any taste to it and was slightly rubbery in texture. I ordered it to be crispy but it wasn't crispy. Also ordered a side of mozzarella sticks which weren't good. It was a bit rubbery and had no taste to it. The sauce that came with it was flavorless. The cinnamon pancakes though were really good. Light, buttery, delicious, and flavorful. I guess it is my fault for going to ihop and trying anything else other than their pancakes. If I do end up here again I won't be as adventurous and just stick with their pancakes.

I ordered the Salmon entree for dinner while at work & this was the surprise I got, a 1/4 PC of meat. Vert disappointed and unsatisfied.

Cheesecake pancakes

Glad to see that an ihop finally opened in the North Brunswick area and it's in a strip mall. This ihop is open 24 hours which is great! We finally were able to give it a try and went late on a Saturday afternoon. It was pretty empty since it was an off hour and the waiter was quick with our order. I ordered the $9.99 breakfast special that came with any 2 flavored pancakes and a breakfast combo. So I ordered the cheesecake pancakes with scrambled eggs, Turkey sausage, and hash browns. My husband ordered the dance pancakes as well with fried eggs, sausages, and hash browns. We were excited to try the cheesecake pancakes since the menu described it was having cheesecake bites in it. Unfortunately, it was more like uncooked cheesecake batter as it was runny in the middle. I would of preferred actual cheesecakes bits. I would pass and get the regular pancakes. Also, it felt like the rest of my order shrunk. The portion definitely isn't as big as it used to be. I had ordered the hash browns to be made extra crispy but when they came out, they were undercooked. This is one of the cleaner locations, at least for now. Let's hope they keep it this way.

spinach egg and cheese omelette

terrible experience... ordered spinach & mushroom cheese omelette along with a few other breakfast meals for my family. Upon eating egg omelette i noticed a small hair in my food. I called my waiter to let him know the situation and let him know i would like them to remove that item off the bill. With-in 5 mins a manager ( bald head guy ) came to my table, very unprofessional, never gave his name or title , in which I didn't even know he was a manager until I asked for another manager. He asked what was the problem and i explained to him , while I was eating we found a hair in my food. He then asked to see the hair which i had on the napkin to show them, he immediately stated ( well its not one of our hairs ) and that he can offer me a discount. I refuse the discount and said honestly i dont care who hair it is, im not paying for that meal. He then stated he can make me a fresh omelette and I said no thank you, I told him I already lost my appetite. he then continued to offer a discount and i said no i dont want a discount I want my bill with that 1 meal removed. He then went on to say he not taking it off and if I dnt pay he will call the cops. To make a long story short, I never experienced such bad service especially dealing with hair being in food. Never again will I return to this location!!!! And that so called manager needs training on how to actually be a manager ,handle manager situations, and addressing customers.

Our order included the following: * Deep Fried Brie served with caramelized onions: $15.95 * (2) Soupe à l'oignon Gratinée - traditional onion soup: $14.95 * Jambe D'agneau Braisée - new zealand lamb shank braised in port wine reduction served over israeli couscous, carrots, mushrooms and onions: $36.95 * Steak au Poivre/au Poivre Vert - two 4 ounce medallions of filet mignon with black peppercorn rub: $39.95 * Pommes Frites (hand cut french fries) $8 This place has the casual look and feel of a Paris bistro, and I really like the vibe. You can sit at tables or the large bar, we chose the former. The service was very good, accommodating and friendly. The food was nicely executed. My lamb shank was tender and tasty. I sampled the steak and thought it was nicely cooked, loaded with flavor and also very tender. The brie was tasty, and didn't seem to heavy, which was surprising as it was deep fried. If I lived in the area, I'd be a regular here.

Any way I had an escargot appetizer. I love snails. I wish they had frogs legs! I had the lamb shank for the main course. My wife had the bouef Bourgogne pot pie (apologies for misspellings ; auto correct is fighting me on this one). The food was excellent. The service was good. They make good cocktails and I a sazerac , something I last had in New Orleans, a long time ago. The ambiance is pleasant and parking is easy. The prices, about what you'd expect. We had dessert and coffee. Oh the bread is very good. Highly recommended!

If you're not going to read to understand then this review ain't for you…read more I've been to the new Freddy's 4 times and I've waited to review it until I could figure out what was needling me. I got it. I used to pass the one in Linden and was psyched to see one finally make it down our way. Me and hus went soon after they opened and got a burger fries chicken and onion rings. During the initial days they served these matchstick potato sticks. HATED IT. Food was OK but not great. No biggie - it was new. Went back on my own to try the lemon custard one night. My acid reflux said NO MAAM so I got to enjoy it going down - and coming back up. It was good though lol. Me and hus went back a few months later - almost same order as before. Dang near $35. Mind you we coulda gone 2 miles down the road to Chilis or across the street to Shake Shack for the same price and better food. Last week I got a message that it was "national steak burger day." Lmaaoooo I love when niche restaurants and hobbyists make their own day. To celebrate, their burgers were only $1. This was actually the motivation I needed to break through the massive 4ft snow and ice mound township contractors placed at the foot of our driveway. 2 hours later I'm at Freddy's getting a double burger for $1. I finally cracked the code!! Freddys is good - it's just overpriced. And I'm saying that with love. Fast food in general is horrifically priced right now but I felt this way a year, year and a half ago about Freddy's. If the price point was $3 lower for a combo the juice would be worth the squeeze. I realize this may not be possible - please place your pitchforks down. Pros: The restaurant is always sparkling clean Friendly employees Fast and efficient pick up Food is good immediately and after a 20 minute drive home Amazing rewards - USE THE APP for savings. Verdict: the food has improved greatly since the early days. The concept is classic culinary Americana - burgers and shakes. It's just too much money for what you get. I'd go back as lit. As I can leverage my app rewards. Can't do it at full price.

I wanted to visit this place a few times before writing the review…read more On my first visit I ordered their famous Prime Rib Steakburger which was really good. On my second visit I got the California Style burger and the moment I took a huge bite, I knew it would be my go-to. I kid you not, it reminds of In-N-Out Burger. This is as close as it gets for us East Coast folks. It comes with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and the orange sauce is what does it for me. It's very similar to In-N-Out's secret sauce. The only gripe I have is that I wish they give you an option to order a single patty. Sometimes a double patty is too much for a tiny gal like me. I also can't resist their shoestring fries and onion rings. Fries are seasoned perfectly and the batter on the rings are nice and golden. The 4-5 star reviews speak for itself. I have yet to try their shakes only because I am lactose intolerant but it sure looks yummy. Service is nice!
