My son had the day off school and he chose breakfast at iHop for the day! We arrived around 10:00am on a Tuesday and the parking lot was pretty full. We entered and waited for the hostess to arrive and as soon as she did, we were quickly seated at a booth. We waited for about 10 minutes for our server to greet herself and she was very pleasant. She never mentioned her name but she was friendly and sweet to my children. Very attentive. We tried the tres leches pancakes and the smiley face kid's pancakes. Went to IHOP on Cobb Pkwy (Hwy 41) near Barrett Pkwy on Feb 28, 2025. They have a very good deal : choice of several breakfasts for only $6 each until 10am. We were there a few minutes after 10am, but our kind waiter (Dion) let me order from that page of the menu anyway. I got the French toast (it was heavenly with powdered sugar sprinkled on top; I didn't even need the syrup.) It came with bacon and eggs, all for only $6 !! I also got amazing hot green tea for $4, and Dion brought me a big pot of hot water and two tea bags. The tea was perfect with no bitterness and didn't require sugar. Dion was attentive and his sweet smile made our breakfast a wonderful treat. A great way to start the day. There were families enjoying breakfast, also seniors, businessmen, and singles. This is the second worst IHOP behind only the Dallas Hwy location. The food came out in a puddle of oil. It was truly disgusting. The coffee pots sitting on the tables that they then fill to give you coffee are with old coffee remaining at the bottoms. They don't even bother to clean them. Forgot totally that IHOP serves more than Pancakes. My friend and I both had an Omelette and they were bot so good. Hers was made with egg whites, spinach and mushrooms. Mine had steak in it, and it was really tasty. My meal came with a Fruit Bowl and she did get the Pancakes. We both loved our food and, I was thrilled because my meal was perfect for my diabetic diet. The coffee was not the best I ever had, but next time I'll maybe skip the coffee. Like most IHOPs I've been too. They are pretty packed on the weekends. However, each time we've visited this location our wait time has been 15 or less. Customer service always meets my expectations. The employees are very welcome, professional and cleanliness of the restaurant is exceptional. The cooks and waitstaff work to get orders served promptly as possible. I've not (knock on wood) had any discrepancies with my meals. Everything comes out fresh and presentable. My go-to meal choices are as follows: Big Steak omelette Spicy Poblano Omelette topped w/avocado Colorado Omelette As you can see, I'm a huge omelette fan. Regardless of the omelette I choose I always have a side of hash-browns topped with cheese and tomatoes. Beverage choice: orange juice or cran apple juice and coffee depending on my mood. To bad there isn't a bar I'd rather consume a mimosa **clink clink This location is conveniently located off Cobb Parkway across from the Whole Foods plaza. This is my 3rd trip here and all 3 trips were great so I felt confident enough to say this is a good Ihop to feed yourself. It's off of Cobb Parkway in front of a busy shopping center. There is always a wait here so just be prepared. Not too long though about 15 minutes or so. But when you got a hankering for IHOP...its worth the wait.... My daughter and I use to eat here several times a week, lately maybe 1 time a month, yesterday was the last straw, they ignored us for about 20 min after seating us not even a drink order, then lost our order, said computer locked up!! WTF she wrote it on her pad !! Then they got both orders WRONG!!! We tried to eat anyways but my daughters ham and cheese omelette was smothered in onions!! Disgusting!!! We got there around 11ish, we were greated & seated right away. I asked for extra time to really review the menu and I was very impressed with what I saw. The menu is really different from the last time I visited an Ihop restaurant, but the prices are still nice. I settled on a steak and cheese omelette, I think its called the big breakfast omelette, it had peppers, tomatoes, steak and cheese and hash browns all rolled up in eggs -yum, and served with salsa on the side. you also get an option of six different side items, you can choose from flavored pancakes, buttermilk pancakes, hash browns, toast or in season fruit. Well, you know greedy me.... I ordered pancakes as my side item-lol. Everything was wonderfully delicous. My guy order the ham and cheese omelette ( even though he claimed not to eat pork, but that's a different story -lol ), with more hashbrowns as his side item. The omelet was so big, I couldn't finish it and I only took a small bite from my pancakes with blueberry syrup. Our waitress was very polite, and also very informative. I never thought I would be saying this, but I can not wait to get back to Ihop.....the steak and cheese omelet has won my heart over, and at 9.99, I don't see it breaking the bank anytime soon. read more

So, after faking the name change to IHob, I just had to try one of their burgers...yeah stick to the old menu. Ordered the mushroom and swiss burger here and it came with onions, lettuce, a tomato...I'm used to ordering mushroom and swiss burgers so I don't have to say hold all them other veges. The burger itself was dry, something else I'm not accustomed to when it comes to mushroom and swiss. The cheesesticks were good though. Outside of the burger, the other food I had here previously is on par with your typical IHop I've been here multiple times, usually after hours, and have always had decent service. Located in Kennesaw near Cobb Parkway, this location was jam packed when I arrived on a Saturday. Nonetheless we were seated as soon as possible and the service was super fast and friendly. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles and it was great. It was served with honey mustard sauce and syrup. Great combo! Parking located on each side of the "house". Very rude staff and management. I guess she was the manager (older woman with a limp) . They weren't busy at all it was a Thursday afternoon . I think maybe two customers in the entire restaurant. You could tell no-one wanted to be there or be working at all for that matter. I was picking up a TOGO or for Uber Eats and the first driver kept the food which happens a-lot and every other restaurant will remake the food because they will still get paid from Uber to remake it so it's not like it's out of their pocket. They would not remake it I even had Uber call them to ask for it to be remade and they still wouldn't so I then had to contact the customer and let them know that the first driver stole his food which obviously isn't at the fault of I Hop , then I had to tell him they won't remake your stolen food. Needless to say he wasn't happy about it . Unlike the location on Hwy 92 in Woodstock I didn't see an option to put your name on a digital wait list which meant we had to wait to arrive before being put on the list. My wife and I are white, and she has a bad back. We came in to IHOP for breakfast, got on the wait list, and were told specifically that we may NOT sit on the cushioned benches in the waiting room. We sat outside on a hard metal bench to wait. When our table was called, we came in, seeing 8 people sitting on the cushioned benches. All of these people were Black or Asian. Getting excited about a large chain restaurant is usually about as likely as a woman getting excited that her abusive boyfriend is drinking. This iHop is different. The restaurant is almost spotless. Most of the staff is friendly and efficient. The manager is usually monitoring the kitchen and the dining area, resolving problems before they arise. The menu is broad: my main problem is narrowing down what I will order from 5 or 6 alternatives to 1. The prices are reasonable. It is easy to find and has very convenient parking. Most menu items are quite good (I particularly enjoy the chicken and waffles with warm maple syrup). A few are just so-so (the omelets I have had have been underfilled with flavor-free ingredients). Overall, the food stands up very well against the competition. In the Yelp rating system, 3 Stars means "A-OK." A-OK is a good description of this iHOP.
